Horrible service very rude waitress irene she rolled her eyes multiple times, tried charging extra slow service & once again irene was so rude not professional and neither was the manager he is put as a manager but can't do his job properly , I work at a sizzler and I can say I understand it's hard sometimes but never treat our customers like this she was so not polite she could have earned a good solid $20 tip from us but she was so rude. Never coming back .. worst one ever . We tipped the bus boy and she went to her friend and started talking bad about us.. so please fix it . I like Sizzler food or I wouldn't eat there --- in every town I visit. However, this one had some problems that they could easily solve. In the post-lunch rush (meaning not-that-busy) the clam chowder was empty. This is a big 2 or 3 gallon bucket and someone goes there often to clean off the part of the salad bar with soup. Yet nobody noticed it was getting low and told the kitchen to thaw out and heat up another bucket (I know they buy it frozen from the supplier -- they told me). It is supposed to take ten minutes. Obviously I love this and it is the main reason I go to there for lunch. However, they never did refill the chowder. Second, the got my order wrong. It was flung on to the table by a waitress sprinting by. By the time I was able to look at it and find I didn't get what I ordered, she had vanished. I waited a while and then went to the cashier to try to get my order corrected. The cashier ignored me standing there with a full plate and started ringning up other customers until I spoke and asked for help. She said she was busy and go find my waitress. Also, this was probably one the worst restaurants for unattended children running laps, playing hide and seek around various guest tables etc. The staff has no policy for this? Another thing -- the advertised specials are bait-and-switch. The list a half dozen entrees, full salad bar and drink "from $9.95" -- my wife ordered the shrimp skewer and was charged $11.95. There was no price listing for the various entrees -- just the "from $9.95" on the sign. Come on, Sizzler -- you don't have to resort to used-car sales tricks. The above situations (wrong order and disorderly children) happend both times I ate there. I gave them a second chance and it was no better. I'll eat at Sizzler again -- in a different town. Horrid is what this place is like truly awful , the servers are very kind and do there best but my God the food is awful. Do yourself a favor and never and I mean never order pasta from there I was temporarily insane and did just that it was so gross. Went to sizzler on a last minute decision on Sunday night and ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken....I got food poisoning it's day three symptoms are just now going away but still sensitive. I hate writing bad reviews about restaurants because my family owns one and I know how hard it is to keep customers happy but if your giving ppl contaminated or bad food it's just not right. read more

I really don't understand sum of the good reviews regarding the salad bar. I'd honestly rather go to hometown in moreno valley and let me tell u that was pretty bad. Came in here cus my family and I were passing through on our way back home and soo dissapointed we stopped and spent our $ here. There were really no options at their tiny salad bar, the carnitas were gross, tortillas hard, no toppings or bowls for their ice cream. They don't put plates out because I'm sure they've been taken advantage of but to have a waiter never come around and bring us new plates and bowls is inexcusable. Management and employees working here are joking right, cant be trained that bad. Come on and just shut the doors already. Roof was leaking so they had sanitation buckets on tables and trash cans taking in the leaking water. It's not like it's the cheapest food around. Our kids actually liked the shrimp Alfredo and burger from the menu but I'm just rambling about the salad bar and filth of the restaurant. I went to Sizzler and ordered the Ribeye steak. I was expecting a decent steak for the amount of money that I paid. But I got a terrible piece of meat that i wouldn't feed to my dog. It was fatty, and the steak was very thin and very poor tasting. I will not go to this Sizzler ever again. read more

This review is for the redlands sizzler on redlands blvd. Had a terrible experience last night. Stood in front of a register girl for 5 mins while she said nothing to us. Then the manager came out and starting talking to her while neither one acknowledged us. So i went up to the manager and said. While u have 4 girls up front here including yourself not one of you would take our order and not one of u acknowledged us or said we will be right with u. You need to check your customer service skills and walked out. There is never an excuse to be ignored for even a minute. read more

So we came for dinner this past weekend We brought my two lil boys and I was excited to show them sizzlers bread mmm. Well we never got any bread until I asked 3 times I believe there were only 2 servers working and one man an older Latin man I forgot his name was running around like a chicken with no head trying to help everyone. So we asked other employees to help us get our bread and refills and everyone said to ask our server, my boys had finished there drinks before dinner even came and we didn't get there refills until they were done eating. The bread when I asked for it the second time the Asian server said I let your server know he didn't bring it?. When it was time to leave we had to ask the bus boy/cleaning person if he can grab a few boxes. So service was horrible! The food my steak was cold when I received it and so was my boyfriends steak his chicken was pretty warm though. THE FOOD NOT TO SATISFYING. I took three of my children out to eat at the Sizzler on Waterman ave in San Bernardino, Calf. tonight. and while the waitresses were and always are very friendly and polite the assistant manager had an attitude from the start. I asked if I got the salad bar could my 8 yr old daughter get something once on one of my trips and he said NO she was not allowed. I was ok and paid extra. at the table half ways threw our dinner and having a good time I happened to look up and saw a cockroach crawling on the ceiling. I asked to speak to the manager and the assistant came to the table I showed him the cockroach crawling on the ceiling and he looked around and said ( Im sorry what do you want me to do about it ) as it climbed in and out of the vent he he did nothing at all and walked off. the cockroach was crawling right above my daughters and my heads so I left a tip and we left and I and my family will never go to that Sizzler again. Keep in mind when you see one cockroach crawling on the ceiling in the day time in and out of the vent there is a lot more and not afraid of people. so beware Concerned customer and father read more

welcoming environment, good salad bar, cleanliness isn't anywhere near being an issue, so far this is the best sizzler I've been to.

Alright I usually don't write reviews but I had to for this. My friends and I were staying across at the Hilton for Beyond Wonderland and I decided this would be a good place to eat. Long story short the salad bar was disgusting. I got up to check 3 different times and it was never cleaned. The meat did not look like meat at all. It looked like a hybrid of beans and something else soaked in water. Totally lost my appetite. If I had never gotten food poisoning before, I would say this is the worst place I've ever ate at. read more

Today was the last day I will ever patronize this Sizzler restaurant. I have ordered a Malibu chicken lunch entree with a baked potato and a drink. Upon receiving my drink I noticed that there was food floating in soda. When my husband mentioned this to the waiter, he just said okay me another drink. My husband had asked for another glass of water and noticed that there was something floating in the water as well. We brought this to the attention of the manager and he just wanted to give us a gift card for a free salad bar. He did not want to refund us for our meal because he said we had used a discount of $5 for my birthday. We have placed a phone call to corporate and would leave the poor customer service that we received from this Sizzler restaurant. Oh did I forget to mention that the lady at the table next to us found a fly in her salad that she had gotten from the salad bar. They never took that salad out of the salad bar, they just left it there! read more

Honestly, I don't why it has so low reviews. I think people expect way way too much. It's sizzler people not a steak house with fancy trimmings...seriously! I've been here a couple of times and steak is always the way I want it...salad bar is decent. Nothing special but good! If you want a fancy steak, lunch or dinner this place isn't for you. If you are extremely picky go somewhere else and pay the extra. This place is honestly a decent place like I said nothing special but good for the price. read more

If this rating included a "0" that's what this Sizzler would get. $22.00 for crappy, old food that had been sitting for the entire day - we arrived around 6PM. They gave my husband and me 2 dirty plates... they give you the plates, there aren't any plates at the salad bar so you get to wait until they feel like bringing you plates and 90% of the time they were dirty. My sandals literally stuck to the floor around the salad bar AND in the carpeted area. Some of the food trays were empty and when asked to refill them, it took forever for them to do that. The two soups are in uncovered pans about 12" by 12" with a dipper in each. As the level has gone down there is crusty old soup residue (or ?) stuck to the sides of the pan. Literally, both pans looked like filthy, dirty upchucked soup. I have never seen anything like it...my husband and I were in shock over that alone because those open pans are at waist height and are subject to everyone's crap from their arms and hands. I saw kids getting into everything because everything is very accessible - at their height. My husband took photos of the soup and unfortunately cannot post here (or maybe fortunately because it would make you sick to your stomach and loose your lunch), but when the Manager saw my husband taking photos, he started stirring up the old food that had been sitting for the entire day. We were afraid to use the restrooms, so we didn't... who knows what was in there!?!? Here's the another shocking piece of information, the sign on the outside says "NOW OPEN". We inquired about this - THEY JUST REMODELED THE FLIPPIN PLACE! One can only wonder what it was like BEFORE the dump was remodeled! The only good news from our experience at this dump is that it makes a good argument for the Soup Plantation down the road...we've been there and recommend it. One more thing.. the place is the size of a very small fast food restaurant. What a filthy dump. We were out-of-towners. This was our lesson in checking Yelp BEFORE spending our $ at any establishment. read more
