Had the pleasuring of dining here for a friend's birthday! There's a huge parking lot near and far from the restaurant since there's lots of stores and restaurants nearby. We grabbed a table around 6:15 pm and the place wasn't packed. It's a self service system where you order on a QR code either doing individual order per phone or a group tab. This place has a nice atmosphere for get together, with the scent and sizzle of meat in the air. We got the cheese fries and those were so crispy and delicious. I've tried several Sizzling Lunch locations in different cities but it's the first time I've visited this one. It was on a busy Sunday so there was no to available tables, so our party of 4 walked in, signed up for the waiting list, and in about 15 minutes the text that our table is ready came in. We were seated and ordered our food, which came out very fast. It was hot, delicious, and we were very happy with the service. The fries were absolutely amazon tasting and became my favorite appetizers. The main courses were also good and we had a really nice lunch. Went over here as the original place we planned on was closed on Tuesdays. My three co workers have been here before but for me it was my first time. We walked in and were able to be seated right away. You scan the menu with your phone and you can order by the group or on your own which I think is good so it's not awkward who is paying what. I ordered the spicy pepper rice beef plate. The service was fast. My plate came sizzling and you mix it up to the desired level of doneness as the meat is raw. The food was great - the meat on all the plates was plentiful, and the hot plates cooked the thin meat rather quickly. I would love if this place offered more veggie options with your main dish - some bok choy or other greens would be amazing. I did have a bit of a stomachache after on account of the oil used to cook, so just be mindful of how sensitive your stomach may be! A friend of mine recommended the Sizzling Lunch and I decided to take the venture and try out the place. Entering the restaurant you are greeted with an atmosphere full of conversations and smiles across the tables, noticing the sizzling meals that are being served before everyone. I was pleased with the fast service my only complaint is I'd rather have a physical menu and a waiter but that's just a personal preference. As for the food I went to this restaurant on two different occasions. Once ordering their garlic beef pepper rice and the other time ordering the Tofu option with the cucumber as an appetizer. To start off the garlic beef pepper rice is a must have, I loved every bite with it and the garlic flavor was a massive boost to the tastiness. As for the tofu option it was good but I would rather order their garlic beef instead the next time I'm here. As for the cucumber appetizer it had a nice taste to it but nothing extraordinary. The food is great overall and it's a nice atmosphere especially when you are accompanied with friends. It's unique to see your food served with steam as it cooks itself while on the plate. pretty standard sizzling lunch my default is the udon the only annoying thing about these though, is that the sizzle is pretty intense - you have to decide between your food burning/sticking, or getting splashed with the oil popping around (and it'll get on your clothes and the table and your phone that's on the table, etc) service is pretty average - sometimes they'll forget to bring water so you have to ask for it; also need to ask for chopsticks or small bowls if you sit outside you have to order inside first, then they'll bring the food out to you in summer they have umbrellas up but there werent any today might be a little strange outside since people waiting outside on the waitlist can watch you eat (for sizzling lunch or neighbouring restaurants) read more

Also the plates usually only come with the protein + rice or udon + corn + green onion. So if you want anything extra you will have to pay for it. Ordering is very easy since there's a tablet at every table. I normally get the garlic pepper beef rice and it comes topped with fried garlic, corn and butter. Don't take too long to cook your beef once it comes out. You have a good 5 minutes before the hot plate cools down. I like to add both of the sauces available on thr table and I like it a bit salty. Add, then taste and then add a bit more. Repeat if necessary. If I wasn't watching my budget, I would add an egg and other toppings and get one of the fabulous Sugar Mama sugarcane drinks. For those who've never been, this is a place you want to visit in clothes that you don't care getting covered in the smell of oil all over. The regular beef udon was lacking so much flavor, it was actually insane how much seasoning and sauces we had to put just to make it better. Perfect place for a great lunch with great food and service. I ordered the salmon and rice. It was delicious with lots of salmon and love how the rice gets crispy on the bottom. You definitely need to add the garlic sauce and teriyaki to enhance all the flavor. It does come with yummy garlic butter. Also, the food does come half cooked so you need to stir it around on the sizzling plate to cook it. We waited about 30 min on a Sunday for lunch which wasn't too bad. The service is very good where they kept offering waters and checking in on us. You do need to order on your phone with their QR code so be sure to have wifi or good service inside. Came here on a Monday night for a quick date night with my hubby. This place has been booked marked for a while and we have yet to come enjoy this spot....until tonight!
