Not busy on a Sunday evening we were sat at a table in the lounge/bar which was off to the side with a huge window. Pretty much immediately the waters were poured and french bread arrived, not many places starting with free bread these days. M ordered up a Mai Tai and I had a bottle of sparkling water. It took us a bit to go through the menu, I like to see if I can get a variety of items to add some excitement to the palate.... First up the chef's Clam Chowder, this version had some small dice vegetables, was a good medium thickness, and off white in color. Unfortunately the vegetables and diced potatoes made the clams and flavor secondary, in my opinion. That was followed up with six triangle shape won tons with a tasty mix of shrimp and sauce. Dungeness crab cakes were delivered and we each took one of the breaded and fried 3ounce or so cakes, plenty of crab and they were good. Ceviche was great and plenty of shrimps to enjoy with the house made tortilla chips. The Spinach salad hit the spot and finished our buffet of choices nicely. We took a slice of Lemon cheesecake back to the room for a treat later. The service was attentive, average. Everything was good but I didn't feel as though anything was outstanding. Thank you for the meal Martin-Foodguy

Surprisingly I do and I've had this day marked on my calendar for a minute. Barbecue on a macro scale is not easy, there are so many different moving parts that dropping anyone could be disastrous. Kristine's Kitchen on its first try is already a home run in our book. The Smoked Chicken Skewers was flavorful, tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The Brisket was different than I've ever had it, much firmer, and I think I want it this way from now on it was amazing. The cornbread contained a perfect blend of Jalapeño and honey , not rough on even the most sensitive of pallets. The Coleslaw tasty, both still crunchy and wet. Last but not least was the Smoked Cheddar Mac & Cheese more than just a great accompaniment that even held a remnant of a zing. The barbecue sauce was so good it should be illegal. I was also very impressed with the portions, prices, professionalism and presentation which is also very difficult to master on your first day. I highly recommend you follow them and make plans to get your barbecue on next time they're cooking. Better yet call ahead and put an order in, we will! Thank you Kristine's! Wife suggested we try somewhere new and I saw this place on Yelp. Ordered: Fish and chips, Clam Chowder on Bread bowl, Fried Calamari, one beer, one lemonade. The place is an outside place filled with people. Vibe was casual and the lady who help me was nice. I was looking forward to the fish and chips, and these were very disappointing. One plus was that there were huge chunks of fish, and it was a pretty good size helping. However, the fish and batter had very little flavor, and there was very little crispness to it. The fries were ok, but nothing to write home about. Felt like frozen chunks for fish with a meh batter and frozen fries. It was ok, but definitely nothing to write home about. The clam chowder was essentially a potato soup. There were more chunks of potato than there WAS soup. Might as well have ordered potato soup. It was also very much lacking in flavor. The bread was cold, and again, felt like store bought bread that I could have gotten at Safeway. Not good. Now, the Calamari is where I got a surprise. I'm betting there's no way IN HELL that calamari was made or breaded in the restaurant. I'm betting that calamari was bought in a store somewhere and then deep fried. Don't get me wrong, it was the best thing I bought (tasty, peppery, crunchy, with a good dip), but it was so flavorful, I'm willing to BET the same people who made those fish and chips and that clam chowder IN NO WAY could season that calamari that way. That's my logic, and I stand by it. In short, I was hoping to have a good lunch, but left disappointed and let down by the good recommendation on Yelp. Unlikely to come back.

Tasty & very fresh. Great herbs & lots of sauce. It's in a building that I think is a converted lumber mill? They have seating in a main dining room & then outside... that is still inside? LOL you just have to see it to understand. The decor is nothing to write home about, but it's clean & perfectly serviceable. The service is good. Attentive, but also one the server saw I was reading a book he let me linger. Would return again!

Overall, portion sizes especially the amount of protein in the dishes were a little disappointing, but they certainly deliver on Thai flavors when you're craving it. Koa Soi Chang Mai Curry Egg Noodle Soup (4/5): Egg noodles have a satisfying chew to them with some extra fried noodles over top to add a bit of crunch. Soup was savory, but I just wanted all the flavors to be amped up more (more tang! more spice!). Fantastic option for a rainy and / or sick day though! Panang Curry w/ Pork (3.5/5): Pork was a bit overcooked and chewy, but thinly sliced enough to not be a problem. Plenty of vegetables, but a little sparse on the pork unfortunately. The curry itself had great flavor: great balance of sweet, creamy, and savory across the spices and coconut. However, the curry ran very thin and ate more like a soup. Angel Wings (3.5/5): Chicken was juicy and tender, but there was no crunch on the outside and the skin was still the soft / slightly slimy texture. The sauce is a great sweet and salty combo. The side salad wasn't the freshest, but they aren't the star anyways.
