The place was not pack, but a good amount of people showed up. The prices are reasonable and not overpriced compared to what you pay on the strip. I ended up using my points to pay as it was $15 dollars for my shrimp Louie salad. The service was overall good as the waitress made sure I was in and out. It was a 30 minute sit down experience. The place had an old western theme to it as well. I am used to the other Smokey Joes where I am there for an hour as food service is slow. Overall, glad I came and tried out the place. read more

I used to really enjoy my experiences here, but they seem to have recently changed the menu for the worst. The only barbecue sauce they have now is a sweet Texas barbecue that serve served even with the Carolina pulled pork. I'm hoping they receive feedback from the customers and they change their money back to what it was before even if it cost a little bit more because the quality was good read more

Smokey Joe's Cafe is located in Sam's Town on Boulder Highway. There is plenty of parking including a nice bank of EV chargers. Smokey Joe's is a nice throwback type restaurant that serves comfort food. My son got the Meatball Sub and I got the Patty Melt. The portions were both a great size and a great value. I came to Smokey Joes to try it out after watching a movie. I ordered the French dip with fries and can I say it was the best French dip I had? No, but it was decent. While the meat was unseasoned, it was moist so it had that going for it. The fries were nicely seasoned and portions were right for the price. Service was good. read more

Great small-town feel, welcomed and seated right away. Our waitress/host was really friendly and always checked on us throughout. When we asked about the giant cinnamon roll, she did warn us how big it was lol. Coffee was always topped off. Huge serving sizes! We ordered their meatlover's breakfast special, split a giant cinnamon roll, plus two eggs meal, and a side pancake. We couldn't finish it all. Great tasting breakfast! I love Smokey Joes, please don't shut it down!!! This is my favorite breakfast in Las Vegas! You can get a biscuit as your bread and then order a small side of gravy and add a nice extra side of Biscuits & Gravy to your breakfast. Great typical classic diner breakfast in an extremely cool restaurant that's themed to match the wildlife and waterfalls right outside. The only problem is they told me they're closing it down for renovations and everybody will be working at the new bar and grill in the casino. Stopped in as I had not been to Sam's Town in years. It used to be a steakhouse. The restaurant was not busy at all. You could count on one hand how many people were there. It was very quiet but in the Mystic Park where the laser light show is. I ordered the taco salad. It was great. It was heavily filled with lots of meat, beans, cheese and lettuce. The tortilla bowl was not greasy at all. The dressing was a cilantro salad dressing and had tons of flavor. I really liked that the pico de gallo, salsa and sour cream were on the side My fiancé had the turkey club abs the fries were crispy. We were seated right away, and our waiter was very nice and took our order promptly. We got the Hangover Burger and the dinner special, which was spaghetti and meatballs. I added a side salad, but it didn't come out until after our entrees arrived. The food took a bit to come out, and overall it was just okay. Nothing beyond your typical burger or spaghetti. My pasta was a bit heavy on the sauce, and I probably should have asked for it on the side. The inside of the restaurant is nice, with plenty of seating. My hubby and I ate here for lunch today and it was amazing. I got the smoked brisket bbq sandwich which was the best brisket I had and it was melt in your mouth and so flavorful. The seasoned fries were amazing and reminded me of an old school diner, so good. My hubby got the BBQ Ranch burger, seasoned fries, and the best hot wings. We were really impressed. I'm sorry other reviewers didn't have a great experience here We were in Las Vegas from 4/4/25 through 4/11/25. We spent 3 nights at another property before checking in at Sam Town. My husband and I ate at Smokey Joe's three times during our stay and we loved their food The first day we ate lunch there. My husband had fish. It was either halibut or cod. He loved it. The fish was flakey and the sauce was delicious. He ate all of it I had the chicken sandwich with the potato salad. The chicken sandwich was really good. I just think there was too much bun. The potato salad was delicious. I ate all of the salad it was that yummy. The next day we had breakfast there. I had the ham steak and scrambled eggs with crispy has browns The ham steak was moist and not dried out. My husband snuck a few pieces of ham off my plate and he really loved it. We both loved their hash browns. They were crispy and crunchy. My husband had two eggs with extra crispy bacon. He enjoyed his breakfast but said next time he would get the ham steak We also had dinner there on our last night. My husband had the pot roast. He really liked it a lot. The meat was really tender and seasoned well. The only thing missing that would have made the dish perfect was if he could have had rice instead of mashed potatoes lol I had the brisket dinner. They gave a lot of meat. The brisket was tender with just the right amount of fattiness to it. I loved their hash browns sweet bbq sauce they served with it. The baked beans were awesome! Mostly did breakfast here this past trip - I did the custom omelet with ham, mushrooms, spinach, cheese - this was a good size omelet with great ingredients and perfectly cooked. The toast was the usual lol, the better half did sausage and eggs with hash browns - both of our hash browns were great and she enjoyed the sausage. 2nd visit this trip - had the Chicken fried steak - it was a good size and the gravy paired very well! scrambled eggs were typical and once again the hash browns were yum yum yum. ambiance was moderately noisy - lots of folks enjoying their breakfast discussions lol - staff was on point for drinks and service and while we were seated and served quickly both times it was almost constantly full. read more

The restaurant itself is nice and cozy and located at a convenient spot in the casino. I am giving 2 stars in this review because the food I had was not that great and the price seemed kind of high. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs. The steak tasted like it's been at least a day old and was just reheated in the oven. Hash browns were soggy and felt like they were made sometime ago. Eggs were probably the only thing that was freshly made. At $17.99, I was a little disappointed with my meal. My server was very kind, but she had forgotten the creamer for my coffee, and I didn't get a chance to ask her again until she brought my food out. Not sure if I would visit this cafe again. Why would you ever choose this place when Roberto's is right there? You deserve better and Roberto's has churros. This restaurant is reliably bad. I've been here three times, twice by myself and once with some friends, and the food has been truly disappointing each time. The waitstaff are friendly but understaffed and they're clearly having difficulty keeping the staff they hire. The food is greasy beyond the level of reasonableness for a Southern comfort food place. The food is also reliably cold because their staff are chronically understaffed. There aren't very many vegetarian options beyond the dessert menu and some really tasteless French toast. This is pretty much the only option to avoid their meat dishes, which include an amazing amount of solid fat chunks. If you've ever wanted to try meat Jello, then you'll love this place. During my third and final visit, I ordered a Reuben sandwich that was about 40% solid white fat dressed up in sauerkraut and thousand island dressing. The ambiance is fine for a generic Southern-style BBQ place, but the tables are never really clean, the seats are already torn even though it's a brand new restaurant, and there's nothing interesting enough to pull your attention away from the atrocious meat cuts sitting on your plate. When I went with friends, the quality of the food was the comical center of attention during the entire meal. And I'm someone who will eat almost anything. For me, this place has struck out and actually makes me miss the TGIF that was taken out of this building recently - which is surprising because that TGIF was also reliably disappointing, but in an uninspired chain restaurant kind of way. Got seated right away, our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered us the daily specials. I ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs and a side salad and my friend ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and fries. Food came out quick which was good, but they brought my salad out same time as the food which I dont like. Other than that small discrepancy we had a good time, food was good, and service was great. Husband and I were excited to try the new cafe at Sam's Town! Decided to start our meal with the giant cinnamon roll, which was indeed huge! It was soft and fluffy, and the cream cheese icing was perfect!my husband got the Deuces wild and I got the brisket hash. They both came out hot, and the portions were generous. Everything tasted great, and we had more than enough to take home. Our server, Larry, was friendly and enthusiastic. Located where the original steakhouse used to be. Aura was an amazing waitress. She talked to us through our entire meal. Arrived at 9:25 (they close at 11) and had a great meal. We enjoyed the New York Steak, The Brisket sandwich, and for an appetizer we had the pub style onion rings (Per my husband's request). I enjoyed a Lemon Drop, while he had 2 of the cocktail list specialties the Bourbon Smash. The drinks were very well made. Overall found our new date night restaurant. This was our first visit to Smokey Joes and it won't be the last. You walk through the atrium, which is a treat, to get to Smokey Joes. It was bright and clean and the hostess greeted us as soon as we went in. Our waiter, Robert, was great- friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. My husband wanted a beer with his dinner but wasn't sure what he wanted. Robert suggested a craft beer that was just what he was looking for. I ordered the quesadilla. It was soft but crunchy on the outside and loaded with melted cheese, diced onions, green peppers and tomatoes. It came with salsa, sour cream and quac. My husband ordered the brisket dinner. He enjoyed the beans and slaw. The brisket was tender, moist and delicious. The smoke was there but not overpowering. The vegetables were frozen vegetables and the mashed potatoes tasted like the fake potatoes. My husbands food was not good either. Corn on the cob tasted like frozen corn. The food took like 30 min to get ready, a club sándwich and fried shrimp with fríes? Really? The waiter attended 2 two more tables that came after us and they got their food first and then he came to us to confirm the order (I guess he forgot to put it on the computer) The shrimp was grease, the fríes tasted weird and cole slaw its was pretty bad. The food was good. Place was not busy at all. We ask for a booth. Hostess went and spoke to a male server. Came back and offered us a small table with half table. First and last time there. There were several booths empty. As we sat in at our little table, hostess continued to sit 1-2 people in all the booths around us.... We know that the server told her where to seat us. Server got no tip because of this.... We ask another server about it. She said if we ask for a booth, we should have been sat in booth. She notified the manager and the manager said exactly the same.
