The best gluten-free chicken in town! I go all of the time to get my fixed. Probably been at least 10 times and it's always good. The tater tots are also delicious. I highly recommend the southwest spicy ranch. The team is cool. Here's a pic of us laughing and getting the yummy wings.

I had Sneakybird once before in Scottsdale a few years back and I didn't remember much about it, meaning it likely wasn't great or wasn't bad. My wife, son and I were looking for a lunch spot at Cooley Station in Gilbert as neither of them have been out there. Our plan was to try a different place but they ended up having very limited seating and it's way too hot to sit on the patio. We ended going to Sneakybird as my son loves chicken strips, but I made sure he knew nothing was fried here, it's oven-baked so it's healthier...but also not what he's used to. This Gilbert location is new and clean and had quite a few tables along the west wall. We each ordered Tenders+Tots meals so we could try different sauces. We even added a sauce flight (3 more sauces) for $2. My son got the 6-piece meal and my wife and I got the 4-piece meal. I got the salt/pepper/garlic rub and my wife and son went without a dry rub. The man at the counter was nice giving us the lay of the land on the sauces and rubs...helpful in deciding on our individual sauces and sauce flights. We ended up getting these sauces: Fool's Gold, the Q, Hot Peach, Mango Habanero, Music City Hot, Sweet Thai and Honey Sriracha. Overall all the sauces were pretty good and came as advertised. None were too spicy which disappointed my son as he wanted to 'feel the burn'. My son was also not impressed with the baked strips...he only ate 4 of them and he said 'the sauce couldn't cover up the bland' from the chicken. I wasn't too impressed with the strips either...probably should have gone with a sandwich to get some veggies and crunch with my chicken. The tots were also baked or air-fried and extremely average. The sweet potato tots were less crunchy and maybe slightly better. I had my family rate the experience and I was going to score this place the average of our stars- Son (2), Wife (4), Me (3) = 3. I've never used this method to rate a place before but in the end it didn't matter as my rating matched our family rating. I'd say give this place a try if you want a healthier chicken option. Nothing was bad...but everything was just alright.

This was our first time here. Love the concept and was excited There were people waiting for food, takeout and dine in. It took sometime. The worker that was there called in reinforcements. It got quicker after that. Appreciate they acknowledged the need to call in others to help on a busy Friday night. Food came out nice and hot. Tried the wings and tenders and tots. 100/10 definitely recommend. They even comped people's meals and gave out gift cards for the inconvenience and wait. So unexpected and great customer service skills. Food was amazing and cooked to perfection. Love the salt and vinegar and lemon pepper. Hubby loved the jalapeño garlic ranch flavor. All flavors yummy. Love the service, food, and the vibe. Thank you for making our first experience amazing!!! We will spread the word!

The chicken wraps are good. When they are cut in half you basically get one chicken tender. Without cutting it, there are two chicken tenders. They have a variety of sauces. There is lettuce and tomato in the chicken wrap within the tortilla. Their cookies have a maple flavor. I like their sweet potato tots the best. Their regular potato tater tots are good too. Not too salty. Not overcooked.

What a hidden fast food gem. I wish we had a spot like this in NE. The chicken is fantastic. I got the naked salt and vinegar rub. I didn't care for the teriyaki on the side. The asian slaw was also not my favorite. However the tots and the chicken were great and I would definitely order that meal again. I also order the chicken pesto flatbread and that was rich and hearty with a lot of pieces of chicken.

So glad I randomly decided to try this place out because wow, the food is STELLAR! Looking at the menu seemed overwhelming at first; everything sounded amazing but Sheem at the counter helped me decide which rub & sauces would pair well. Ended up getting the 6 tenders, jalapeño garlic ranch dry rub with sneaky & southwest ranch sauce. Will definitely be getting this combination again. Shoutout to Sheem for his amazing customer service and will be going back.

Chicken Sandwich and side of Sweet Potato Tots

This place is located on SW corner of E Williams Field Rd and Recker Rd with a bunch of other small places. You enter the parking area behind the restaurant on a street to the West. It is pretty small with seating inside (see photo), one TV, and a couple outside tables in front. We were looking for a different non fried sandwich other than Chick fil A. We got three chicken sandwiches, one as a meal (see photo), the sweet potato tots, sneaky slaw, and then a sauce flight with other sauces. The sandwiches were very good. As far as the sauces, Very good: Mo Bourbon, Soko (sweet and sour), Music city hot, mango habanero Good: Sneaky (buffalo), Q (bbq), Bee Sriracha Only problem is it is a little far drive for pickup but good option if you are nearby.

Sneakybird is all about their food being baked never fried. My friends, kids and I had a yummy experience. This place is next to Hash Kitchen in the Verde at Cooley Station. Plenty of parking in the lot up front. We were greeted when we walked in. I like the big menu on the side of the wall, good variety to choose from. They have chicken tenders and chicken wings and you choose the seasoning rub, coated in panko or nekkid and sauces as well as tater tots and sweet potato fries. They also have other items like a sandwich, flatbreads, salad and a wrap. I ordered the chicken tenders battered in panko with garlic butter parm rub with teriyaki sauce. And the wings nekkid in the salted pepper rub and brutus sauce. They all came out in a timely matter and we took it to go to eat at the small playground in Verde so the kids could run around. I wouldn't say the chicken and tots were extra crispy like you would get if it was fried it but they were not soggy and they were delish. Chicken was juicy, not dry. I would eat here again!

Yum- was in the area, saw they had GF options and popped in. The chicken was delicious - I got the naked tenders with the salt pepper and garlic dry rub and the fools gold sauce with some tots. I wish they'd build one of these in the north valley! Laid back environment, very clean and very friendly service!

I had wrap with tots combo. The chicken was rubbed with garlic, butter parmesan. And I got the south on the side was southwestern ranch with it. The drink is a fountain drink a sweeten raspberry tea and I added lemonade to it to make my own Arnold Palmer. I also got one of the cookies, which was the salted maple cookie and it all cost before tip about $16 bucks. We now walked in, was greeted by the cook in the back and the gentleman at the register. Very inviting very helpful because it was my first time being there which made me very happy. They're seating inside. There's a TV on the wall that has sports on it. I was looking at anime so I didn't pay attention, but it was a nice base and not too loud. Not too quiet it's okay. The food was amazing. The chicken was so flavorful and juicy inside of the soft tortilla wrap it has just enough lettuce, just enough pickle, it was so good.I ate the whole thing with the tots in one sitting my plan was just to only eat half but I couldn't stop eating it. This is definitely a place to check out.

Service was fast and friendly. Got a few options to try and thankfully they had GF options. Chicken sandwich home style with the Q sauce, it came with tater tots. Q sauce was delicious, not hot at all but loads of flavor. Got an order of naked wings which were great and home style tenders had good breading. Got some Music City Hot, definitely scrumptious but hot after eating a few bites. Mango Habanero was instantly hot but not too hot and was incredible.

    Denise M.

First, none of the chicken is ever fried here, which is their selling point. You can have a choice between honestly with is breaded but oven baked, or naked. You choose either of these styles (except the wings, which are always naked), then choose a rub. Next choose a sauce, which is served on the side. They also have sides, like slaw and tots. The four of us ordered: 1) wings with jalapeno, garlic, ranch rub served with Sneaky Sauce (house buffalo). It was served with fresh sliced radishes, cucumbers, and carrot and celery sticks with a side of ranch dressing. 2) naked chicken sandwich with garlic, salt, pepper rub served with folks gold sauce (house mustard barbecue) 3) homestyle chicken sandwich with salt and vinegar rub, served with Sneaky sauce 4) makes chicken wrap with no rub and no sauce on the side (what was he thinking???) 5. Tater tots All were really delicious. The chicken was surprisingly and pleasantly crispy--i didn't think it would be since it's not fried. The wrap was a little bland, but that's definitely not on Sneaky Bird--that's on hubby for not choosing one of the many rubs and sauces and just ordering it plain. The tots were crispy and yummy, too. The girl who helped us was very nice and helpful, describing how the food is served. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer was how loud the noise was in the kitchen, like really loud fans. It was hard for any of us to hear the girl at the register. This is a great place to get a pretty healthy and yummy meal . . Much better than typical fast food. I give it a thumbs up for sure!

We stopped in on a Monday evening and had the whole vibe almost to ourselves--such a shame because this spot is seriously awesome and deserves a full house! The atmosphere is so vibey--warm, inviting, perfectly lit with that perfect mix of casual and upscale that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. It feels special without being stuffy, great for date nights, family dinners, or just unwinding with friends over craft beers (their selection is impressive--40+ local options with plenty on tap). But the real star? The food. Everything is scratch-made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care in every bite. Deeply flavorful, innovative twists on classics, generous portions, and consistently excellent. Whether you go for the Nashville hot chicken and waffles, fish & chips, burgers, or whatever catches your eye, it's all done right. No frozen junk here--just real, delicious food that keeps you coming back. Queen Creek (and the East Valley) needs more places like this. Support local, support quality, and help keep this gem thriving so it doesn't disappear. We'll definitely be back--next time on a busier night so more people can discover it! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and go. Tell your friends. Mondays (and every night) deserve Sage & Barrel. You won't regret it.
