Best avocado toast I ever had. Everything tasted delicious. Our waiter Abraham was great! Friendly, knew menu well, checked back on us and offered assistance in splitting the bill cash and credit split. The place has a good vibe from entering to leaving employees seem happy and welcoming. Joined the waitlist about an hour before, and that was the perfect amount of time. While Yelp gives you a check in time, this is definitely a suggestion and you can just wait til Snooze texts that your table is almost ready to go up. I was between the rice bowl and the ricotta eggs from their spring menu, but went with the rice bowl based on our server's recommendation. I'm so glad I did because this was so good. The slaw, red pepper sauce, avocado and eggs were magnificent. The red pepper sauce is like a light gochujang sauce, and the veggies in the slaw were crisp and fresh. Service was also quick and friendly as always. My only disappointment is the rice bowl is seasonal, so get it while you can!! read more

Our server was very helpful as we tried to decide between several tasty sounding options on the menu. We had the sweet potato smash, Denver omelette and a side of bacon. Everything was very tasty. Will definitely be back to try one of the other entrees. The only thing that was overlooked was refills on water and coffee. Seemed the bussers/runners who are charged with that taste kept overlooking us. We sat outside which was well maintained but a little tight in some places so that is something to consider I f you have someone with a wheelchair or walker, it might be difficult to navigate for them. This review is solely based on the business's deceptive tipping practices. The food and service are just fine. Do not trust the tipping amount shown on the handheld checkout machine. I went to brunch w some friends a few weeks ago and when we split the bill and checked out, we noticed that the tip amount shown on the payment machine brought over by the waiter far exceeded the percentage of the total the tip amount was supposed to indicate (even using the "after tax" amount even tho the tip is supposed to be based on "pre tax" account). For instance, the tip amount for 20% shown on the machine is more like 23 or 24% of the total bill (after tax) (can't remember the exact percentage)! Same thing w the other tip amounts for other percentages as they were all inflated! So calculate your own tip amount based on the total and manually input it on the machine. Shame on this business for tricking its customers into paying more tips!! read more

Came to Snooze in the Tustin Marketplace following a Saturday morning workout with friends. First, love that you can do a Yelp check-in without having to be physically present. Lately I've noticed many restaurant requiring a in-person check in for the waiting list... not necessary... end result is the same We got here around 11am and it was fairly busy, the wait was about 40 minutes. The hostess was both calling out names of folks to be seated and also to-go orders which made it a little chaotic. We were seated in the patio area, there was countless adorable pups dining with their owners (honestly that's what earned the 5th star for me lol) Coffee was hot and brought out promptly prior to our food (always a win in my book, coffee should always be brought with sense of urgency lol) They had spring specials on a separate menu (you can find them within my photos) in addition to their traditional menu. They also are offering free pancakes if you download their app (you will get the coupon for free pancakes 4 hours after signing up so make sure to do to in advance) We ordered a handful of items but, the star of the show today were the pineapple upside down pancakes, we ordered them share amongst the table and they were absolutely divine. A great experience at Snooze, will definitely be included as part of the usual brunch rotation going forward! read more

I came here with my friends on a Sunday morning for brunch. There was a bit of a wait, around 30 minutes. I ordered the habanero pork belly benny and it was really good. It came with a side of hash brown, which I would have preferred if it was crispier. The pork belly was really well seasoned and tender. I usually order their original classic benedict, but I like this one a lot more. The portion size was good, I finished the two bennies but didn't finish the hash brown. I also ordered the Suja Organic Mighty Dozen and it was okay. It contains healthy ingredients but didn't taste too amazing. The restaurant is big and was busy. Snooze is one of my favorite breakfast places because of its great food and cozy ambiance. We came around 1pm and waited only 15 minutes to be seated. We were greeted by our server who was friendly and attentive. We ordered the OMG French Toast and Snooze Breakfast Burrito. The OMG French Toast is my favorite dish on the menu and it tastes so good. I also ordered sausage on the side to balance out the sweetness. The Snooze Breakfast Burrito was also delicious. Love coming here when visiting our grandkids!!! You are able to check in online to save your place. The atmosphere is very eclectic and vibrant. The food is always consistently excellent and never waivers. We have been coming here when visiting from Sarasota for the past 6-7 years and always have an enjoyable experience. Our server Sydney was spot on and constantly checked in on us. The closest restaurant to us is in Atlanta and we go there as well when we see our son. Our first visit I would have ranked this place at least a 4 but because of our latest visit, unfortunately the negative reviews from other patrons appear to be accurate and reflective of a normal dining experience here. In summary, we showed up at the same time and the same day of the week and had completely different experiences. The first time we ordered it was no problem and the server answered all our questions. The second visit, the server couldn't be bothered. The first time we ordered, our food came out quick and no mistakes were made. And in fact we got one extra item from the server bc she insisted we try a pancake. The second visit, there were multiple mistakes to our order and the server disputed around the mistake. We had to insist we get new eggs bc the eggs were soaked in oil and were inedible. Also they put butter on the toast despite telling the server about a food intolerance. On top of that the hashbrowns portion was one thin layer of potatoes compared to the first time that was a mountain sized portion. Our server disappeared on us and we had to ask another server for our bill so we could check out. It can be challenging to tell who is working there and who isn't because there is no unity amongst workers color shirts. Overall the setting/decorations are nice and more modern. It is very loud in the restaurant. I'm sure once the weather gets better, outdoor seating will be better for people who are after a more chill atmosphere that will allow for general conversation. It was so loud my wife and I could hold a normal conversation without yelling over the noise. The total 180 flip flop of our recent experience justifies all the negative reviews of this place. We live really close to this place and it could have been a great place to enjoy breakfast on the weekends, but after our recent experience, we aren't sure we will ever return. Our first visit was so positive and we would have recommended this place to our friends family. We even spoke about it on the drive home how the reviews on Yelp seemed inaccurate. But after our last visit, we can now see why it has so many negative reviews. Hopefully the restaurant management can make some changes to positively impact the customers experience. We wish this establishment the best, but we cannot recommend this place to anyone with any confidence after our recent visit. read more

Have been to Snooze many times, several locations but Tustin was always my favorite. The food is amazing, still a sweet deal after all these years and the staff are incredible. Friendly, funny and just hard working people. Shout out to Daniel who was my server this weekend, he didn't miss a thing. He suggested the Pineapple upside down pancakes, which I already know and love but I've been on a health kick lately - I took Daniel's advice and ordered the dang pancakes. Haven't been to Snooze in quite a while, and never visited the Tustin location before. But I wanted to catch up with my friend and it made sense to come here! The problem with such a diverse menu is that it was really hard to pick something to eat. After considering three different options, I had to go with my personal default setting and pick the Crab & Asparagus Omelet because I absolutely love eggs. It was definitely an inspired pick! The omelet was pretty big, the crab was plentiful, and the asparagus wasn't overwhelming. Plus it came with a small side salad, which was perfect to balance out the eggs. Also had a free OMG! French Toast to use, but went with the gluten-free option since my friend has a gluten allergy. Having had their gluten-free pancakes before, I knew that this was going to deliver. It didn't even taste like gluten-free bread! It was absolutely delicious. Service was great! Everyone here is really nice. Unfortunately, my server couldn't really help me decide because she said everything was good. I mean, I can't blame her! Make sure to take advantage of Yelp waitlist because Snooze is POPULAR. We came in as a large party right at 8am when the patio and several tables inside were completely empty. While we understand that we didn't have a reservation, the way manager Laura handled the situation was extremely disappointing. She was visibly flustered, unprofessional, and made no effort to be accommodating. When we asked to push a few tables together so we could sit as a group, Laura flat-out refused, saying it was their "busiest day of the week" -- even though the restaurant was nearly empty at the time. The dismissive attitude made us feel as though our business didn't matter. Instead of finding a reasonable solution, she split our group across multiple tables, half inside and half outside. With how expensive dining out is today, you'd expect a place like Snooze to welcome a large party ready to spend hundreds of dollars, not make them feel like an inconvenience. The rest of the staff seemed friendly, but Laura's demeanor set an unpleasant tone for the entire visit. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. read more

This is my second time visiting Snooze but it was my first time at this location. I joined the Yelp waitlist and it took about 30 minutes to be seated for Sunday breakfast. Spuds deluxe (4/5): This was hash browns topped with cheese, scallions, eggs and your choice of 2 enhancements. You can choose from either veggies, sauces, and protein. I chose spinach and bacon. I chose my eggs to be scrambled. This was a solid breakfast item. Basic but can't go wrong. The portion was good. I only finished half of it. I came with 2 other friends and they got the habanero pork belly benny and corned beef hash. My friend's corned beef hash looked pretty sad though.. It looked incomplete. First of all, the vibe at Snooze in Tustin is straight out of an Instagram influencer's vision board. I walked in and immediately felt like I needed a wide-brimmed hat and a golden retriever named Oatmilk. Final thought Snooze is like dating someone too attractive for their own good. My friend and I decided to grab brunch and landed on this spot. I'm gluten and dairy free, which has made eating out more challenging. The wait around 11:30ish was perfect, we were seated immediately and got a chance to look over the plentiful menu. The challenge for me is most gf options are not dairy free and vice versa haha so I ended up ordering the veggie omelette without the cheese add ons and seasoning and the honey oat latte. All in all, pretty good, but I wish there are more combinations of gf and df options like pancakes and eggs benedict. The atmosphere is really nice, colorful, and cozy. Since it wasn't crowded it was manageable but I can imagine it being overwhelming with a full house. It's clean and located in the Tustin Marketplace with plentiful parking. So a good choice for a weekday breakfast/brunch. read more

Looooove this spot! My wife and I come here at least once a month to treat ourselves. A few weeks ago we brought my mother-in-law and she loved it. We love getting the same ole eggs, potatoes and bacon. Every once in a while we will get a pancake flight and share. Every single server we have had has been amazing and the quick service too. Ordered a pancake flight: Blurberry, strawberry, and sweet potato pancakes. All were very tasty and makes a great starter/shared plate. My avocado benny was also very good. Dish is great to share with to another person. That way you get to try two different dishes. Eggs were cooked to perfection, runny and the sauce was nice. My daughter shared the two eggs and bacon plate. Which also comes with bread and hash browns. Overall we had a great experience. It was my daughter's birthday and they brought out a sprinkles birthday pancake with a candle out. Only thing was they were busy. I can see why this place has 4K reviews and why the wait would be super long!! Snooze is located in a huge plaza lot and there is plenty of parking. We came here on a weekday for lunch and there was zero wait. So glad we came on a weekday since I saw there is usually a long wait. There were so many food options I couldn't choose! We ended up going with a vanilla oat milk matcha latte, Bella Bella Benny, snooze classic, and the pancake flight. Everything tasted delicious! I love a good eggs Benedict and I was surprised at how good this combo tasted. The snooze classic was just a staple breakfast menu item, can't go wrong there. Lastly I was surprised by how much I liked the pancakes. Usually when there's a ton of stuff on it, it might be too much or too heavy. I'm a simple pancakes with syrup kinda gal. For the sampler, we chose pineapple, blueberry, and strawberry. I would rank it pineapple, strawberry, and blueberry. I loooved the pineapple and also really liked the strawberry. Somehow compared to those two, the blueberry seemed too plain. The sampler was perfect and now I know next time, I can get just a plate of the pineapple pancakes! I don't know if I would wait hours for this place but the food was definitely very yummy. I also liked their week day happy hour! I think it was like $9 espresso martinis all day??? This was my first time trying their espresso martini, and even though I had high expectations based on other photos and reviews of it, I was still in awe of just how delicious it was. Each sip had me amazed. It was creamier and sweeter than the typical espresso martinis I have had, which was exactly what I was hoping for. It really reminded me of an alcoholic version of Starbucks' caramel macchiato. I was so sad that they no longer had the happy hour deal of $5 espresso martinis, mimosas, and bloody marys, but regardless, this espresso martini is definitely a must try. I got the protein and veggie egg white scramble and was pretty content w it. The scramble definitely needed way more seasoning, so I had to sprinkle a good amount of salt and pepper (which I usually never do when eating out). Though the scramble itself was nothing outstanding, I really liked the flavors of the chicken sausage and the sauce, so altogether it was a quite enjoyable meal. Ahhhh I'm cringing 'cause I hate writing reviews like this. For sharing: -split a savory plate, the breakfast burrito with salsa verde (no meat.) I think next time no hash browns inside the burrito, texture wise it was a no for me -(sweet) split the French toast with marscepone cream & fruit. Highly recommend sharing, it's too sweet for your entire plate. The brioche has a more cakey feel and flavor. Regular mimosas are yummy, slightly more sparkly than juice ratio (I'm not mad at it) & is served in a thinner beer glass. They offer a waitlist check-in ahead of time which is nice. Parking is a bit limited as it's shared with other restaurants and stores. Overall, it was just meh, but perhaps the food wasn't their best to order. read more

We come here every week now after working out in the morning. Ya know, gotta get them calories back into your system! We try the Pancake of the Week every time we're in. It's awesome to see wild creations around pancakes. We definitely have our favorites and not every PoTW is a winner. But it's okay! Still good to try! This place can get BUSY. Peak times are around 9am until brunch-ish. Make sure to put yourself on the waitlist to make sure you get a seat. You might have to wait a while, but they are good at updating you. The food here is great. They sometimes can't hit the mark on over medium eggs. The food is still delicious though. The service her is also attentive. I have not had a bad server here. Everyone is friendly, and welcoming and they check in on you a lot. The vibes here are there's a reason why we come here weekly and it's because the food is great and the service is beyond stellar. So conflicted about Snooze. On one hand they're solid for everything you'd want at a breakfast place. Got all the eggs prepared in any way and any add ons to make it feel sparkly and personable. But the wait is.. pretty damn alarming. Considering what past for snoozes, aptly named for the effects one has after food coma sets in and mom wants you to do the dishes. Don't know where I was going with that but you get the point. I come in hungry, wait around hungrier, sit and wait for starvation until you're near famished when seeing everyone else get their plates of stray bacon.. finally out comes your plate of drools on a plate. If I believed in god, I'd leave no time for prayers. Gimme gimme gimme some of that English muffin with butter and jam. Great diner coffee with mugs that stay warm and entertainment everywhere you look. But the wait puts you off, the calorie count makes you stay aware and something else that doesn't rhyme. The berries on the pancake were warm already by the time it got to the table and hash brown tartine on the side was old and stale. Otherwise the inlets was still yummy, even if all the pico de gallo sauce soaked through the eggs themselves. read more
