Hands down, the best customer service I've received in L.A. since living here for the almost 2 years; this storage facility was more similar to four-star hotel concierge. The entire building, including the units were really clean and they had a conference room you could use if you needed to fit some work in while you moved. The restrooms were always kept stocked and smelt good too, major plus. My living arrangements weren't confirmed when I moved in, so the month-to-month the moving truck was available for free. The two guys in the main office, David (Property Manager) and Ryan (Assistant Manager) were not only knowledgeable, professional and polite, but they had best attitudes. That's exactly what you need when you move, because you're already stressed out so much. - My first day at the facility, Ryan went out of his way to answer all my questions. I was shocked to learn he was fairly new. Seemed like him and David had been working for together for years; because, if Ryan didn't know something, then David would be right there to back him up. - If it was hot outside and they noticed me making a few trips back and forth, they would offer me a few water bottles. - If David noticed I was struggling with the elevator, he would put a special code to keep the elevator doors open. - If all the flat bed metal carts were being used, they would take initiative to grab you one from the back. David and Ryan helped me in any way they could - and it made the world of difference just to know they cared that much. The best part was when I was moving out...they gave me a file. it's a pretty genius really. Best marketing I've seen in awhile. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more

We stored here for about a year and we had. Pretty decent experience. Never had a problem with our stuff getting stolen or the unit getting broken into, and the staff were always very friendly. My one complaint came at the end, when I had cleared out the unit basically and had forgotten to cancel the monthly deduction for the space. I called them, because we were making our move out official in a few days (the next available weekend) and asked if they would prorate my time there and give me back some of the $140 I had just paid back, since I wasn't going to be there the whole month. That's something they don't do, so just be aware. Move out before your month is up, it isn't worth it to pay for another month. Besides that, the staff were always nice, and you can get a free move in truck if you reserve it in advance. read more

Just as others have mentioned, Ryan is pleasant, funny, and helpful. We just rented a space today so I can't comment more than to say that the place gives a wonderful impression: clean, organized, cool (on this 100 degree day). Easy in and out, easy parking. Apparently, on their website, if you reserve a space, there is an icon of a lock or key, and if you select it it entitles you to a free lock. This place is the only place to rent storage in the Valley. Unlike other wanna be storage units like "Storcal" that try to imitate SoCal Self Storage, the service is at SoCal is top notch. I've been waiting for over an hour now and left voicemails to the empty office. There are other people waiting too. Ridiculous. I have a fully restored 1963 Austin Healy 3000 MKII and prefer to keep it away from ANYTHING that could scratch it, degrade the paint (like heat/humidity), etc. I shopped around the valley and found that this was by far the most economical solution for high-end storage.
