We were looking for a Ramen place to eat for lunch, and came across this place on Yelp. We are from New Mexico and have tried many different Ramen places and I would love to say this has been by far one of the best ramen places we have eaten. We didn't realize it was a soft opening but I am so glad we came to give it a try. The staff was amazing and Chef John came out to talk to us, we told him we were from New Mexico and found his place on Yelp. As we were enjoying our lunch he came back and gave us complimentary Pork Chashu Tacos for us to try and it was very delicious. As our appetizers we ordered Crispy Gyoza, Kurobuta Sausage, and Chashu Fried Rice and for our Ramen dishes we ordered Tonkotsu and Kuro-Goma Tantanmen. We also decided to try Green Tea Churros. Everything was amazing about this place. This will be our spot to eat anytime we come back to Las Vegas! I will definitely be letting others know about this place and it is a must to eat here!!! Service was friendly and quick. The menu is one page which makes it really easy. I ordered the Tonkatsu ramen and the Gyoza. Very creative on the ramen and appetizer combo. Extremely reasonably priced for an appetizer that can easily be split and a meal. The chef came out and greeted people and said hello. The Yelps are all true! This is the best ramen I've eaten in my life! I'm so glad I live in Henderson because I'd go broke eating at this place every day! I've eaten in the restaurant, but I mostly order for pickup. The quality is consistent for both ways. My personal favorite is the dipping ramen, but I've tried many other varieties and they were all on point. The chicken karaage appetizer is always perfection too. You get a generous portion for your money. Their lychee tea is also very delicious. This has easily become my #1 spot to get probably the best ramen I've had in Las Vegas. I've tried around 5 ramen shops and this has to be one of the best bowls of ramen I've had so far. I quickly became a regular and enjoyed every single bite of every single item I have ordered off their menu. The pork chashu taco is wonderfully light and packed with so many flavors that just melt in your mouth. I've also had the calamari which is beautifully seasoned and never misses the opportunity to impress me with its crunchy yet soft texture profile. Regularly, I order the black garlic tonkotsu bowl and it has the best umami that warms your stomach and makes sure you leave satisfied and full! The noodles are never clumped or stuck together and the toppings fit perfectly with every single bowl that you order. My personal favorite is their seasoned eggs which are never lacking in flavor. Lastly, their mango and lychee green tea drinks are amazingly delicious and a great addition to freshen your palate while eating your beautifully curated meal. Went in to put my name on the list tonight, the young kid told me 10 minute wait for 2 people. Stood right out in front of the front door with all the others waiting and after 15 minutes I still had not been called. Another couple walks up walks right in and sits down without waiting at all. I immediately bring this to the management's attention and they refuse to get the couple up to seat my wife and I. They ask me what they can do, I say get these people up and make them wait like everyone else. But there was no attempt to make it right. I gotta tell you there's not much more frustrating when out to eat than waiting to be called for dinner and being skipped over. But the fact that I let the staff know and they refused to do anything about it is just gross. There are about 7 other options for Raman noodles within one mile of this shop and the majority of them are of a much better quality. Guaranteed better service. There is no excuse for this kind of customer service when you have so many other choices so close by. read more

I went during the soft opening. The food was pretty good and the staff was great. The spice level, man let's talk about that. The flame sauce had a very good kick to it. Most places I have gone to say, their ramen was spicy but it was not. I also like that you can make it whatever spice level you want to be. For dessert I got the green tea churro. My bf is not a green tea fan but he liked this dessert combination quite a bit. read more

This place offers better and more value products than other Ramen places we have been to in Las Vegas. Located in a strip plaza of newly developed neighborhoods. Must be locals favorite place because it gets really busy with long waiting line at 12:30PM on Sunday. Definitely worth several extra miles driving. read more

Tried this place today and brought the whole fam bam after seeing them online. They opened not too long ago but didn't have the chance to go til today. Food is awesome, definitely one of the good ones I've had so far. Menu is pretty simple and they have a pretty good selection as well. Place is very neat and spacious. Employees are very attentive and very nice, always smiling. I like that. While we were eating, a gentleman came over our table and checked on us. Not sure if it's the owner or the chef but to come out and check on every table was just a very humbling experience. I recommend this place and will definitely be back. read more

A solid place to get a good bowl of ramen. I came in on a Monday evening and was the only customer. The staff was very friendly and attentive! Inside the place is quite small, and at first glance it seems like "just another trendy ramen place" *eyeroll* but the food truly knocked it out of the park. I ordered the ramen/appetizer combo which is really a great deal for about 12 bucks. I decided to keep classic and went with the tonkotsu ramen and the chicken karaage. It also came with a small salad to start, which was a great bonus. The salad was cabbage with a peanut type sauce on top, it was refreshing. Then the ramen came out and it was the perfect size for me, it wasn't too big, but with the appetizer and salad it evened out to the perfect amount of food. The real kicker was the soft boiled egg...everyone seems to always want to overcook the egg, but this one was done perfectly! The broth had a great flavor, but i added a little chili for the kick and some garlic. The chicken karaage was very juicy and the breading was crispy, light, and fluffy. Sojo has not just good ramen but also spectacular service. They are extremely fairly priced and the only ramen place I've been to that doesn't skimp on toppings. I got the black on black which had a rich seafood pork broth and was a deep black color from squid ink and black garlic oil. Included shrimp, squid, and chashu all for $12.95. Combo up with a salad and appetizer (some bomb karaage) for an extra $3ish. My wife got the veggie shoyu with their vegan / gluten free tofu noodles. The noodles are similar to shirataki noodles with a little more chew to them. Ramen was loaded with corn and broth was formidable for a veggie broth. We also ordered 4 appetizers (cold tofu, broccoli, karaage, calamari) and all were stellar though nothing especially standout. The chef personally came out and gave us a miso eggplant on the house. The server had recommended it to us when we were ordering and I mentioned I wasn't a huge eggplant fan. Chef definitely changed my mind. At the end of the meal, they offered free green tea soft serve. I could tell it was homemade because the matcha flavoring was stronger than any green tea ice cream I've ever had.
