Even though this place has a lot of hype the food is sooo good. I love sandwiches so I was very excited to try this place. All the menu items sound really unique so you can definitely come and find something for everyone. We came on a Fri afternoon and there was a bit of a wait but not too bad. They were even able to accommodate our group of 7 people inside. The inside is very small though and currently no outdoor seating. Terry was also around to help out and everyone in general was very helpful there. I got The Kerry which is a chickpea salad with a bunch of interesting ingredients like kelp flakes, fennel, preserved lemon and kalamata olives on 7 grain bread. I finally had the chance to visit. I'm a fan girl of Vanderpump Rules and I love sandwiches so I couldn't wait to check it out. I came on a Sunday morning before they opened. Btw the yelp hours are inaccurate. Their new hours are 11am-5pm Wed-Sun. There was already a small line when we got there. Once it turned to 11am, one of the staff members came out to let us know the kitchen wasn't ready. Not a good look. The kitchen should be ready and prepared by the time the restaurant opens. I get things might happen but who knows how often this has happened. The kitchen was finally ready like 25 min after they were supposed to open so yeah not a good first impression. The restaurant is a lot smaller than what you see in pictures which wasn't surprising. It's really tiny but the ambiance is just as nice in pictures. You can tell that was their main priority. I got the Cameron because I noticed it's the most popular and I also got the Drew to split a my bf. Def pricey sandwiches. Good, quality sandwiches and filling but not worth that price. The Cameron is so expensive. Almost $20. I get it's the most popular but not worth $18. Everything was flavorful in the Cameron except the bread. It was a little stale and hard to bite off. The Drew was $14 which that's how most quality sandwiches are these days so the Cameron should be $14 not $18. I got the Drew mainly because of the mango jalepeno jam but the goat cheese over powered it. I feel like there should be more of the jam since that's more unique in the sandwich. They have a variety to choose from for drinks. I just went with Olipop and my friend with a spritz. The staff though was accommodating and friendly. I would come back to try their other sandwiches but unless I'm really craving the Cameron, I would not get it again. It didn't stand out that much for me to crave it. Bravo is my vice. I also love sandwiches. SAH definitely checks both of those boxes. I REALLY hoped this would be my new favorite sandwich shop, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The restaurant was as adorable as it looked on VPR and the service was pretty quick. My friends and I got 3 sandwiches to go - The Cameron, The Drew, and The Diane. 1. The Cameron - an Italian sandwich on thick foccaccia. I think this was the best of the three sandwiches we got. I found the foccaccia to be a bit bland and dry. Good foccacia should be soft and fluffy, but this was neither. The components worked well together, but it wasn't anything special. I prefer the Italian sandwich from a few other restaurants across town. 2. The Drew - This one jumped out as the most creative one on the menu. Overall, I felt it was way too sweet, and then all of a sudden, the jalapeño from the mango jalapeño jam takes over. Between the jam, balsamic glaze, and shaved apple, it was too much, and not enough other flavors were able to balance it out. I would've loved more cucumber and maybe some sort of onion? It needed brightness. I'm glad I added prosciutto (who doesn't love it), because it did add some much needed saltiness. The sweetness overpowered the goat cheese, which I really would've loved more of to balance it all out. Overall, though it may sound intriguing, it's poorly balanced, and I would probably not order it again. 3. The Diane - This is their take on a tuna salad sandwich. It's "Sicilian style." Like the Drew, I found this to be poorly balanced. I thought it was too acidic and lacking some crunch and fat. I prefer mediterranean tuna from other restaurants (or even homemade) over this sandwich. Overall, I might come back if a friend from out of town wants to try it, but I prefer other sandwiches around the city. read more

i finally got to go to SoCal (for work) so i can try these sandwiches ! i was willing to fly to LA just for a day to just go!!! i got 3 hours of sleeo the night before, forced myself to get up early to make it! let me tell you!! these sandwiches were delicious and huge!!! i got "the Drew" & "the Cameron". my friend and i split it and tasted each other's order and both were so fresh, the bread was nice and fluffy, the ingredients were perfect together! i got one to go to share w my coworkers, and they were in love! actually, one just texted me thanking me again for sharing and asked for the name of the place and says she will go with a friend. mind you she knows nothing about VPR. i would definitely go again and try their other sandwiches sometime soon! the only downside was that I didn't see ari or katie, ugh. the workers were very nice and friendly. the place was not huge but it isn't like you're gonna sit there even after you've had your sandwich so i didn't have to really wait but then again I went on a thursday and got there around noon. this place is a must try!!! we ran into some people who drove all the way there from Sacramento to try these sandwiches im so proud of these girls! read more

Overpriced and rather bland. Feels like they are cutting corners when it comes to flavor. All hype.

I've never seen the Vanderpump show and have no interest in it. So how did I wind up standing in line with a bunch of fans waiting to throw money into the latest expansion of the Vanderpump cinematic universe? My sister was in town. The line wasn't that bad. We were there two days after the opening, and the line took a reasonable 30 minutes or so. I spent part of that time playing with a dog who was on line behind us. The staff was friendly and helpful. They handed out menus while we waited on line, and told us about the various sandwiches. They took photos of some fans in front of the restaurant, and seemed genuinely helpful. If you just want to order food to go, the line will be much shorter, and there is a park just up the block that would make a great spot to bring a Something About Her sandwich. But we were there for the full experience. Once we were inside, we ordered sandwiches (and chips and drinks) up at the counter, and then took our seats at the table they had waiting for us. They seem to be doing a great job of managing the line, seating, orders, etc. I tried The Drew (chive infused goat cheese, mango jalapeno jam, pink lady apple, cucumber, balsamic, arugula, and mint on a baguette) and The Viola (smoked turkey, chipotle mayo, roasted red peppers, balsamic onion marmalade, smoked gouda, cucumber, and red onion on sourdough). The flavors of the Drew were great - it's an interesting combination. The mango jalapeno jam and the mint work particularly well. But the baguette was tough and chewy and the filling was less substantial than I'm looking for in a sandwich. It was more of a tea sandwich on a chunky baguette than a lunch sandwich. The menu gives an option to add prosciutto, which probably would have helped, but I don't care for prosciutto. If they had an option to add chicken or turkey, I probably would have done that. It might also be improved with different bread. The Viola was nice, but less interesting. I've had versions of this sandwich in plenty of other places. It's a combination I like, and Something About Her does a good job with it. If I were only going to try one sandwich here, I'd get the Drew because the flavors seemed more special. The sandwiches came with pickles (which tasted fine, but seemed to just be standard jarred pickles), but not the grapes that customers from the first day posted. While we were there, many customers (members of my group included) chatted with the women from the show and one of their mothers, and also took selfies.  If you are a Vanderpump fan, Something About Her is a five star experience. But even if you've never heard of the show, it's still a cute place to get a sandwich. For the time being, the line will probably put off people who just want to get lunch, but if the fans ever get their parasocial fill, Something About Her will still be a cute lunch spot. read more

If their passion is sandwiches then I was excited to have their delicious sandwiches! But alas, the sandwiches are just okay and bordering on subpar. To rate Something About Her anything less than 3 stars wouldn't be authentic for me, as it is edible and has some good elements in the overall vibe & aesthetic. But anything higher would suggest I'll return, and unfortunately I know I will not be. Sadly, the sandwiches simply are not utterly delicious. And in LA's West Hollywood, a very popular dining destination in the city, you gotta be delicious to survive. My friend and I stopped for lunch today and were able to order for carry out easily, efficiently and quickly. Seriously such a sweet lady at the register, so patient, kind, polite and just overall good vibes demeanor. We had 'The Nancy' which had tons of bacon which was amazing but then nothing else to make it above subpar BLT for $16. We were so disappointed in 'The Drew' to which we did not add the $4 prosciutto., thus paying $14 for the vegetarian sandwich. Holy cucumber explosion. It mentioned cucumber as one ingredient but it overwhelmed the entire sandwich, ours had barely a dash of the cheese and jam. I literally tasted a very tiny bit of jalapeno and that's the only way I knew any was there. The cheese and jam ingredients were not visible in vision or taste. I must say the shaved apples were beautiful! That is an ingredient perfect for sandwiches and was surely freshly cut for the sandwich - that's a great element to carry over to a new item. The bread in ''The Drew' should not be carried over to any sandwiches though, it was hard as a brick and not the right bread for this sandwich at all. Also, be sure to only order what you can eat fresh. The sandwiches don't keep. :( I could only eat half of my sandwich and just had to loss the other half. The decor is so cute here though! The space has so much potential because they really did create a adorbly addicting atmosphere. Now, this can all be turned around for two of my reality stars. So many elements are right that with some tweaks, they could do really well. Business is going to skyrocket once there is a Bravo VPR Boom and it's airing again. But, I fear that after this final season of the show things are going to really slow down for them without some adjustments. And one is that they need to be popping in and out from time to time. Like, I always know Guillermo is going to be at SUR, Jax rolls around his bar, Toms at Schawrtz and Sandy's...part of the appeal for the fans is the chance of seeing them. Something About Her isn't a hangout spot so no one is hanging around to be seen. The fans want y'all in the shop showing a lot of face, but I know that's not really the vision. It's actually really really good. We ordered the Cameron that had salami and the dressing, size, meat - all blended so well. I was thoroughly impressed. It didn't make me feel heavy and disgusting either plus we were able to share this between two people. I also like that they gave us two pickles so that we can have one each. It's a bit disappointing that they don't have in house drinks (considering Ariana was a bartender!) but they have a water station so we had that instead and my husband had an alcoholic drink. I wasn't expecting to like Something About Her as much as I did! With the exception of the small location and hour long wait time, I was very impressed with how good our sandwiches were. I ordered the Drew, and added Prosciutto and it was perfect! Savory and just yummy. My reasons for taking off a star is yes the menu is limited to a few sandwiches and that's okay but there were no sides to accompany it like a pasta or potato salad, just a slice of a pickle and chips you do need to purchase separately. Overall my own tab for my sandwich was about $32 (I added the chips and a hard seltzer). Would I come again? I think so just to try a different sandwich but do hope to see the menu expand or different sandwiches introduced. Decor was a 5/5! Very cute and quaint and cozy feels all around. Although small it is mighty cute! Very girly and chic. You order up front. They have not only sandwich's but chips and beverages but alcoholic and non alcoholic. My first con is they have no ice. My second con is the tables are really small, I was borderline uncomfortable with how close we were to our neighbors. Nonetheless, I ordered a vegetarian sandwich. It reminded me of a Caprese, and it was good. Not spectacular but it was solid. My friend ordered the Meg with prosciutto. She said it was good. I liked that I wasn't rushed and staff were polite. We bought a tee shirt and paid taxes and shipping from LA to our SoCal home and then were hit with a tariff/UPS bill of more than $51 (more than price of shirt) because the shirt shipped from Canada. Big fan of Ariana and Katie so I had to come while in LA! Some TikTok reviews made me go in with low expectations but I was actually blown away. Went on a Friday at 12:30pm and the line wasn't long! We maybe waited 10 mins to get seated. We ordered the viola and the Reese and they were both absolutely AMAZING. The Reese was the front runner for me. The ingredients were SO fresh and I'll definitely be thinking about that sandwich often. We also got a snickerdoodle cookie and it was amazing.
