    Truffle pizza

Just wow! This experience was everything and more. I took my son to LA for his graduation trip. I wanted to have the experience of a lifetime including dinner at a fancy restaurant. I decided on Spago with hopes of an exceptional meal and the possibility of seeing someone famous. We arrived and were greeted promptly with a great table. The service was impeccable. We started with the bread basket. My son ordered the truffle pizza. I ordered the squid ink pasta with lobster. For dessert we ordered the box of chocolates. We were surprised that we were brought two chocolate chip cookies to celebrate graduation! As we were waiting outside for our valet, I saw paparazzi. Lo and behold, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Kris' mom hopped out of the vehicle they were riding in. Pretty exciting all around and the hopes I had for our evening all came true!

Beautiful restaurant! Great server- shoutout to our busboy he was so sweet. Caviar cannoli worth the hype. Singaporean sea bass was really good- fried but not heavy. The dessert was this super light and airy meringue with some ice cream.

My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary dinner here at Spago. I made reservations just to be safe and were seated right away. The service was amazing !!! The food exceptional and the best part was meeting chef Wolfgang Puck. Wow Wow Wow ... he is so friendly, took a picture with us and thanked us for being here. Everything we ordered was amazing. The salmon pizza is a must and the pastas were flavorful and tasteful. The Caesar salad was perfectly made so was the branzino fish. Amazing surprise dessert for us to celebrate What a great experience for us, loved every minute of it. Will be back again for sure for another beautiful dinner....

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had! Just wow from start to finish. This place was on my bucket list for my first trip to California and it did not disappoint! The service was impeccable. The bar and dining areas ( we sat in the garden area) are beautiful. The apps were incredible and i enjoyed every second. Worth every penny. TY Spago for making my trip ! We had such a pleasant time and were present I did not get food pics LOl but trust me!

We tried the Innovation Menu at Spago Beverly Hills, and the experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The restaurant itself is beautiful--elegant yet welcoming--and perfectly situated in the heart of Beverly Hills. What truly stood out, though, was the service. Our server was incredibly friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. We dined with our 6-month-old baby, and he went above and beyond to make sure our baby was comfortable, even bringing over a chair so we could safely place the car seat. We ordered the 10-course tasting menu, which made for a long and leisurely dinner. The staff was so accommodating to our family--they even prepared simple pasta and kids' food for our boys to keep them happy and occupied, which we really appreciated. As for the food--everything was outstanding. Highlights included the Dungeness crab, the smoked burrata ravioli, Alaskan halibut, Wolfe Ranch quail, and the braised Angus short rib. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Spago truly delivers not only on fine dining but also on hospitality. It's rare to find a Michelin-level restaurant that is also so family-friendly. We felt genuinely taken care of and would absolutely return.

Elevated ambience, excellent service , delicious food! All you have to know about this place that is 100 out of 10. It's not just fancy, it's classy , it's when you want to have a nice dinner with no rush and truly enjoy the atmosphere. I think I've tried the most of the menu and there is not even one thing that disappointed me.

I have been meaning to write a review for some time now... This restaurant has always been very consistent with their serve and their excellent food. The ambiance is beautiful and classy. Definitely a culinary experience. I usually always leave with some sort of upset stomach when I go out to dinner, it never fails! But, this place, the quality and the attention to everyone's dietary restriction, they take it to the next level. Normally when going into a restaurant, they hate to "accommodate" or a lot of the times you will hear or read "no substitution". Only if you have a serious allergy of some sort of medical will they modify, and when they do modify, the food is either bland or not even worth eating at all... Kudos for your superb customer service! Thank you for the memorable meal! (I have gluten and diary intolerant). The food is phenomenal in every way, the only thing I would change is the entrees, it's so rich maybe suggest or pair with some sort of acidic sides to cut some of the richness. Food: Appetizers: *Gluten free brioche - amazing! Can't tell it was gluten free. The only complaint, it was a little burnt. *Kenter Canyon Farms Winter Chicories- wow, great salad. * Japanese "Buri" Yellowtail Sashimi*- very fresh and very tasty * Charred Cara Cara Orange- wow, you would never think orange is a good paring but it's execution of utilizing seasonal fruit like orange compared to the original melon combo, real burst of freshness and different way of eating something so simple as prosciutto. *salad *duck - not my favorite dish but still very good- suggested temp medium rare (a bit on the cold side and tough when cooked so rare) Entrees - *Italian White Truffles Tagliatelle Pasta - this was good but for the price, I would say on the smaller side and very little truffles. It was very rich and 1 of our favorites. (Still we prefer Ill Pisatio's truffle tagliatello with their generous portion of truffles and table side parmesan wheel drunken pastas before serving. Fresh pasta and imported Italian "00" flour for those who are not celiac, gluten intolerant, can ingest this pasta) *Crispy Scale Black Sea Bass*- wow, love how they crisp the skin! My kid's favorite! Very delicate morsel with rich burst of flavors in your mouth. * Snake River Farms American Wagyu New York Striploin*- rich, melt in your mouth steak. Very close to Japanese Wagyu steak. The best part of the dinner. It was so rich that you can only really have a few slices. This could have been paired with something vinegary to help cut the richness... Dessert: *coconut sorbet - the best creamiest sorbet I have ever tasted. I first wasn't going to order this.., thinking "another sorbet..." but no, this is the best sorbet I have ever tasted. Get it! *basque cheesecake - very creamy cheese cake. It was good but nothing super special... Will be back soon! Worth the long drive to dinner.

Memorable birthday dinner with amazing food and standout service energy I went to Spago Beverly Hills for a late birthday dinner, and overall it was a wonderful experience. I'd had a long work day and honestly wasn't even in the mood to go out, but our main server (an older gentleman -- I wish I remembered his name!) truly turned the night around. His energy was warm, genuine, and made the experience feel special from start to finish. He even brought me a small taster to start, such a thoughtful touch that didn't go unnoticed. The food: We started with the tuna tartare cones, which were perfectly crisp, light, and full of fresh ginger flavor. The corn agnolotti pasta was next-level: super fresh, silky handmade noodles with a beautiful sage brown butter sauce. I ordered the duck breast, which was cooked perfectly tender and juicy, though I personally found the sauce a little too smoky and overpowering. I would've loved a touch of sweetness or brightness to balance it out, but the duck itself was fantastic and a generous portion. My partner ordered the Jidori chicken, and it was equally delicious! juicy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Drinks & atmosphere: I ordered an old fashioned the flavor was great, though it wasn't as spirit-forward as I expected. Still tasty, just a bit lighter than usual. The overall vibe of the restaurant was elegant but relaxed you definitely feel the legacy and attention to detail that Wolfgang Puck restaurants are known for. Service notes: While the first gentleman who greeted and served us set an amazing tone , very personable, warm, and professional...the energy shifted a bit later in the night when our main server changed over. The new server felt a little disengaged and dry, and while I appreciated him bringing out the birthday card, he asked me to spell my name and still spelled it completely wrong. It wasn't a big deal, but small details like that do matter, especially when it's a birthday celebration at such a well-known restaurant. Even so, I left happy, full, and grateful for the experience. The food, presentation, and hospitality made it a memorable evening. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

I haven't been to Spago Beverly Hills in a while, but this time I took a friend out for dinner and felt compelled to write a review because the experience was wonderful. The food and ambiance were great, but the service truly stood out. Our waiter, Anthony, was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. He made us feel very welcome, gave great recommendations, and took excellent care of us throughout the evening. His genuine hospitality made the whole dinner feel special. Thank you, for such a memorable experience

I have gone to Spago at Beverly Hills several times and it is always a treat, but this time was so incredible that I have to write a review. Spago, the Wolfgang Puck flagship restaurant, has an in-house pastry chef named Della Gossett, whose desserts are unmatched on a global scale. I was so impressed by the quality of her pastries that I expressed my appreciation, and I brought my culinary afficionado to Spago to try for herself. What happened this evening was above and beyond. Della Gossett came out to our table and I literally choked. She stayed and spoke with us for a VERY long time, giving us all her energy and attention, and sharing the secrets of Spago and the Wolfgang Puck menus. Then, as we were fangirling, a GANG of SERVERS came out and gave us a complimentary fraiche amuse bouche, a complimentary bread assortment appetizer, and a SURPRISE EASTER EGG CHALLAH BOX, to which Della Gossett said that she was providing this to us on the house. I have attached photographs and videos below, but I was legitimately stunned. The generosity of the staff here is UNMATCHED, and the care that they invest in their dishes is unlike anything I have ever experienced. This challah has a personally colored easter egg boiled on top of it, with dewdrops of raw organic sugar adorned over the top. After I indulged in my favorite item at Spago, the legendary Dark Chocolate Souffle, the house provided us AGAIN with an assortment of cookies created especially by Della Gossett, including her homemade chocolate chip cookies and Oreo, which came adorned with chocolate shell and rainbow sprinkles. I promise I will never eat an Oreo again. Everything pales in comparison to Della's creations. The vivid tastes and the ingredients make other items grey. I highly recommend that you come here. Maria, you see the customers and you treat us like family. Della, Wolfgang, the busboys who combed our table, the gaggle of servers presenting our surprises, the secret coat check where our to-go boxes live, the wonderful man who conducts the kaiserschmarrn ritual...every employee is a work of art. Spago's tables are filled with families because they build a real connection, with real food. The options are delicious and impressive, reviving each season with new yet legendary dishes. The presentation of each dish is part of the ritual, and my dinner this evening was a sacred, spiritual experience.

Had dinner here in SPAGO BEVERLY HILLS with my Husband and Son. We came in time for our reservation. At first we wanted to back-out 'coz we saw a lot of empty tables, but I'm glad we stayed 'coz omg the whole Place filled up so fast for dinner time! We were seated at a beautiful and comfy spot of the restaurant, we can see the entire room from where we were seated and we could also see a big Glass that where we could see the Kitchen and we can see how busy they were preparing foods. Our server came right away, guided us through the menu and we had: * AMUSE BOUCHE *LYCHEE ROSE COCTAIL *MOCKTAIL for my SON (Watermelon) *BREAD BOX *3 TUNA CONES *HOUSE CURED SMOKE SALMON PIZZA *BRIGANTI PASTA * JIDORI CHICKEN *LIBERTY FARMS BREAST *KAISERSCHMARRN dessert For our APPETIZER I ordered 3 TUNA CONES and their BREAD BOX. The TUNA CONES were so good and freshly made, very flavorful. The Bread box is worth getting, the portions were a lot and it was very filling. I also ordered their Famous SMOKE SALMON PIZZA, surprisingly this is not listed on their menu and I don't know why, the reason I know about the pizza 'coz I read the Reviews saying that this is a special order that you need to tell your server that you want this Pizza and I read that this is a must try. So I did order it and we didn't get disappointed, the Pizza dough is cooked to perfection, and the Salmon is very high quality, it's so good, I really love this pizza! Get this Smoked Salmon pizza when you visit this restaurant. For our Main Dishes lets start with my son's food, he had the BRIGANTI PASTA which has MAINE LOBSTER, cippolini, preserved meyer lemon, and basil, my Son said this was a delicious pasta with a generous amount of Lobsters. My dish is the JIDORI CHICKEN, this also came with a good portion, it's tender and I love the chanterelle mushroom and goat cheese in this, simple and delicious. My Husband had the LIBERTY FARM BREAST. It looks tiny in the picture, but they are really filling, tender, juicy, and delicious. It had a Savory Cabbage, Fuyu persimmon, Gochujang, with a blood orange reduction. For my drink I had the LYCHEE ROSE COCKTAIL, it came with a beautiful Flower glass and this drink is very smooth and delicious. I was already so full, so I just ordered KAISESCHMARRN For Dessert, this is a nice and fluffy dessert with Gaviota Strawberries, Raspberry Stracciatella, Golden raisins, and candied Almonds. This is not overly sweet and it's sharable. At almost at the end of our dinner I saw a very familiar face entering the restaurant waving and shaking hands with the diners. And the closer the person got to our table towards inside the restaurant, I finally recognized him well, its Chef WOLFGANG PUCK! And it was an even better experience when he SAT DOWN with us and chatted a bit, such a nice and very humble Celebrity Chef in person. All in all, the dining experience here was absolutely Excellent and we are definitely dining back here for more delicious food. For a Fine Dining restaurant, this restaurant has a great food portion and it's so delicious , and with staff that are very friendly. Morgan , our server, is great . And an old guy , I think it his name either Juan or Jose who delivers food or picked up our done plates in our table, their services absolutely added to the great dining experience we had here. They do have Vallet parking and I believe I saw a building for paid parking near by , but we got lucky to find one just in front of their restaurant. Definitely dining back here again.

Spago never disappoints. Wolfgang Puck and his team truly have it right, and every time I dine here it's an experience that reminds me why this restaurant is so iconic. From the moment you arrive, the service is seamless. I honestly don't know how they manage to have so many attentive servers on the floor at all times, but there is always someone nearby to refill a glass of water, adjust a setting, or check in to make sure everything is perfect without ever being intrusive. The food, as always, was outstanding. Each dish is beautifully prepared and full of flavor, and you can tell the ingredients are top quality. Whether you go for a classic or try something seasonal, you can count on consistency and excellence. The ambiance adds to the experience with a sophisticated yet lively feel, striking the perfect balance between fine dining and a fun, welcoming energy. Both the indoor dining room and the outdoor patio offer a fantastic vibe. The patio feels elegant and relaxed, perfect for a California evening, while the interior has that refined, energetic atmosphere that makes you feel part of something special. If you are looking for a restaurant that delivers on both food and service, Spago is the definition of consistency. It is a place you can trust to always provide an exceptional experience, whether it is a special occasion or just a night out. I cannot wait to go back and enjoy it all over again.

Another excellent experience. This time was for DineLA Restaurant Week. 8 course tasting menu with dessert which was delicious. There's a wine pairing available as well! Lively dining room. Wolfgang Puck greeted every person in the dining room and the service was excellent.

Last minute trip to Beverly Hills so we have no reservations. Is it even worth trying to get a seating at the bar for 2 or coming by waiting for a table on a Saturday night? Or would that be a complete waste of time.

Hard to tell 100% 😬. There are also Louka (Greek) and E. Baldi (Italian), both excellent, on the same street. So maybe if you can't get into Spago's, you can find a place at the other ones. But I love Spago's, even at the bar.

How long does one usually spend here?

100-150 dollars per person, without counting drinks.

Do they change menu in Summer? I wanted to try the wagyu and i saw before they have wagyu sliders.. is this still availablei want all sorts of wagyu dish they make?

The menu changes often but you should call and ask about the wagyu, seems like one of the products they might continue to keep on the menu. Email them. I got an awesome/ quick response today when I asked about a menu item.

Does their patio allow small dogs?

    I'm not sure. I don't think so.

Do they have any all organic options?

How are they operating during COVID?

The city of BH closed off Canon Drive on the corner of Wilshire Blvd to make Spago the end of a cul de sac so they can operate a curbside dining experience in addition to their patio area. Its really great so they accommodate more patrons without… Read more

    Is there a corkage fee?

Our corkage fee is $50 per bottle with a maximum of 2 bottles for any wine not already offered on our wine list.

How far in advance can we make reservations? I tried to make reservations for May but the site said nothing available so I am thinking that month isn't open yet.

    About 60 days out.

What is tbe tax on the bill other then tips?

    Telecommunications, Broadcast and Electronic Services

Are there a good amount of gluten free options?

Yes, they have pretty good options. Just make sure the server is aware, they modified a couple of dishes for a celiac friend.

    Do they have live music?

    No,they don't have

    Any dress code requirement?

Like most of LA restaurants, it's not super dressy. I would avoid tennis shoes and t-shirts. Best bet is business casual...

    Is there a private room?

I believe there is depending on the party count.

How long does it take to get a reservation?

Site says 24-48 hours but I've made same day reservations before

On multiple occasions, Elton has given me poor service and a noticeable attitude. I chose to overlook it at first, but eventually I brought it to management's attention because the treatment was consistent and unacceptable. After that complaint, the situation escalated. When I returned, Elton refused to serve me altogether. He would not look at me, acknowledge me, or take my order. I was left sitting there while being completely ignored. It became so obvious that other guests sitting next to me noticed and were concerned enough to step in and ask him why I wasn't being helped and to tell him to serve me. That should never have to happen. I then asked for the manager I had previously spoken to, Leo, because I wanted to understand what was going on. I still have not received any clear explanation. What's most concerning is that this behavior feels intentional. No employee in hospitality gets to decide who they will or will not serve based on personal feelings. If a staff member's feelings are "hurt" after a complaint, that does not justify refusing service to a guest. That is not professionalism--that is the opposite of hospitality. It was honestly disturbing enough that the people next to me told me directly that it didn't feel right and that I shouldn't come back because it seemed like I wasn't wanted there. That is not okay, especially at an establishment of this caliber. I am actively trying to get in touch with someone at the hotel who can properly address this situation, because this needs to be taken seriously. No guest should ever feel ignored, singled out, or unwelcome in this way.

I emailed the bar to make a reservation since the online system was down, and they emailed back immediately to confirm -- and even said they would surprise my mom with an extra birthday cake! Now all I had to do was wait 3 weeks until her visit so the experience could finally happen. The day arrived and I got my mom to Maybourne Bar with her none the wiser. From the moment we stepped through the door, the experience was a 1 million out of 10. Every course is unbelievable. This is a caviar tasting in the best way -- all nine courses are topped with generous helpings of delicious N25 caviar. You get sweet, salty, savory, comfort food, upscale dining, everything comes together in the absolute best way. I especially loved the deconstructed deviled egg and the lobster roll, and the ice cream was some of the best I've ever had. The chips and dip came with the cutest miniature potato chips (although I'll admit I could have used a few more), and the caviar salmon burger was super flavorful. And, true to their word, they surprised my mom with a birthday cake -- and then surprised us both with complimentary lychee cocktails! The service was impeccable as well. Each person on the waitstaff was kind, helpful, and accommodating. We loved how descriptive they were of each dish. It was also really nice of them to decide to give us an extra 2-top so we would have room for all of the courses. This is not only an incredible tasting menu, but made even more incredible by the price. 10 courses and a glass of champagne are $85. I was honestly shocked at how much we received for under $100. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. This is a true gem in Beverly Hills. I'm already planning my next visit!

My friend and I were a bit boozed out from the night before, so we stuck with a handful of sharable platters including California rolls and ceviche, all tasted amazing. Nothing was too heavy and the portions were all manageable, not too small or too large. The outdoor seats were very cushy and comfortable, it's perfect for sitting with your fur baby, and the restaurant provided water bowls upon request as well. Servers were all really friendly and the food did not take long to come out, though it wasn't too busy that Sunday afternoon around 3pm. Would definitely come back here to try the cocktails with other fusion bites next time we're in the area!

We ordered rolls, salads, ceviche, and pasta, but everything was just okay--nothing memorable. We had to ask for wasabi and ginger three times, and the server seemed confused. Service overall was friendly but very slow, and the restaurant wasn't even full. The pasta was a miss, and the "salad" wasn't really a salad. Drinks were the highlight--great martinis and well-made cocktails. That said, our bill was over $600, and none of us left full. Portions are tiny. Go for drinks and ambiance, but I'd skip the food.

There are a lot of pretentious cocktail bars these days with "technique" and interesting ingredients, but falls short in flavor and execution. Dante is not one of those bars. It's the opposite. Seemingly simple and fresh drinks ended up being cocktails that were all mind blowing. 10/10 would recommend to impress friends who like cocktails

After being seated, we waited nearly 15 minutes before our server even acknowledged us. Not even exaggerating on the wait time. When I ordered a Twist cocktail and asked if it could be made with tequila instead, our server said he would check with the bartender. He later returned and tol us it wasn't possible, so my friend ordered a different drink instead. What was frustrating is that he never mentioned happy hour had ended while we were waiting for him to come back. We were then charged $10 for the original drink we never received, and the replacement drink was charged at full price because happy hour had expired. That didn't feel fair since the delay was entirely on the server's end. To make matters worse, a 20% service charge was already added to the bill, yet the service was some of the worst we've experienced. Between the long wait, poor communication, and incorrect charges, the experience didn't match the reputation or prices of this restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it based on the service alone. FYI during happy hour selected drinks are $10

MATU WOW. This lil…read morejoint had been on my radar for a while..at least 2 or 3 years. Finally crossed it off the list, and it was quite the joyous and memorable dining experience. I really gotta respect their dedication to red meat and the holy art of cooking a damn good steak. This place is essentially what I'm looking for in a restaurant. Basically hits on all cylinders and checks off all the critical boxes. I don't want to sound all dramatic and such, but I'm dying to go back and try all the other items I didn't have, as well as check out the bar experience. I spoke to some locals outside before they opened, and they weren't just lovely -- they also painted a pretty picture of what the overall vibe is here. It's clear a lot of people in the Beverly Hills and Hollywood Hills area love coming here very frequently. Our server, who I assumed is named Nolan because that's what's shown on the receipt, was very accommodating, kind, and easy to talk to. I think he did a fantastic job dealing with my difficult, picky gf. Haha. I can't say anything was less than stellar. The croquettes in that celery purée stuff were phenomenal. Garlic bread was seasoned and baked to perfection. The bone broth sipper was nourishing af. French fries were perhaps the best I've had in years. Broccolini was fresh, high quality, and complimented the steak very well. I'm bummed we only got to try just the ribeye when it came to the cuts, but my gf did not want to order anything under medium or medium rare that night, so that was a bummer. It's her loss! The panna cotta was the creamiest sweet treat in all of LaLa Land. This is a great place, and it's a top-tier steakhouse. SoCal sometimes lacks places of this caliber that NY, Chicago, and SF / Napa have, but this place is a very close contender to some of the top cream-of-the-crop, steak-centered restaurants in the country. Chef's kiss, Señoritos and Señoritas.

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Unfortunately, our initial table was extremely close to a very loud neighboring party, making conversation difficult. To the restaurant's credit, the staff accommodated our request to move, and the new table significantly improved the experience. The food was excellent. We ordered the Dinner for Two, and every component was well executed and enjoyable. The quality of the beef was evident, and it was clear why MATŪ has built such a strong reputation. The cocktails were also well made. Where the experience began to unravel was the service. Wine service took roughly 20 minutes, dessert was noticeably delayed, and our server seemed to disappear for extended periods throughout the evening. The most frustrating part came at the end of the meal when it took more than 25 minutes to receive the check. When it finally arrived, it was delivered by a manager in a manner that felt dismissive rather than hospitable. To make matters worse, an automatic gratuity had already been added to the bill. While I understand the practice in some situations, it felt particularly disappointing given the level of service we received throughout the evening. MATŪ serves outstanding food, and that is what earns this review more than a few stars. However, hospitality is about more than what comes out of the kitchen. For a restaurant operating at this price point, the service should match the quality of the food. Unfortunately, on this visit, it did not. I left impressed by the meal but disappointed by the overall dining experience, and I'm not sure I would return.
