I normally try not to give negative reviews to a business, I understand people make mistakes, but what bothers me is the lack of responsibility for them. I took my car here for an oil change and they broke my gear shift. My car is old so its possible the person handling the car was rough or something, I understand this can happen, what I cannot accept is they returned my car without telling me. The second I got it I noticed and they said they were re checking the car. After that the manager or owner, very rude came to show me that my car is old and thats what caused the issue. I kept saying it was not like that when I came here! And he kept interrupting me and saying they didn't do it and my car is old and I should go to the dealer and get that fixed, and just walked away and left me there. I think when people honestly come to you and say we broke this, sorry its old, says a lot about them as business managers or owners! Otherwise makes me question if thats what I see what happens under the car where I cannot see? Is not even a cheap oil change to say oh well you get what you pay for.. This was my second time here, I had doubts about coming back because last time my AC broke and I just thought it was a coincidence but after this incident I don't trust them anymore and definitely don't feel that they will take responsibility if something bigger happens to your car read more

I have been coming here for about 7 years for my oil changes and have always had very positive experiences. Jessica (at the front desk) has always been really helpful and always takes my coupons when I come get my oil change. Today, Eric helped me out with deciding what oil is best for my car. Adrian helped me with my oil change and let me know a change of filters is needed for my car. After going to several car shops and having to wait more than an hour or longer without being serviced, I needed to get my oil changed and have my car maintenance asap. Took in my Lexus iS250 for the 17 point oil change. When I picked up my car the Check Engine light with low tire pressure was on, which was not the case when I dropped it off. I kicked the tires to see how low the tire pressure was and if they had done it as part of the 17 point check. I had to take the car back to have the tire pressure taken care of. The check engine light and the tire pressure light did not go off. I have no idea and the technician didn't give any info what happened to trigger the lights on. Anyhow, I got home and popped the trunk open and see the attached picture of them leaving the oil dip stick half out. I consider that as heights of negligence. Will have to take my car to the dealership to have it checked. Will not use them again. Just a heads up that the 17 point check is just BS, they do none of it. Got here right after they opened checked in and was told wasn't gonna be too long of a wait. I also called right as they open and said it's more than fine to come in. Got there had to wait an hour and a half finally got to my car. I told multiple people what year the car was, everybody said it was fine. 10 minutes later car was parked on the side thought it was done quick then they tell me come back tomorrow. Our machines not on yet for 99 and older was mad. Didn't know what to tell him. Nothing I can really say so I had to leave. Miss my appointment at the DMV now I have to reschedule. Free diagnostic I think because they couldn't fix it cause they felt bad but at least they weren't trying to take advantage of me. Which is what most machanics try to do. Anyways they were helpful even though they couldn't help me I had to go to a specialist on transmission which is the worst honestly. But speedees is reliable for regular maintenance. read more

First and last time here. I called ahead to get a quote for their labor cost, $110 hourly, and it would take two hours to swap out my oil pan/gasket that I have bought online, $75.99 for 5W40 synthetic oil change. Okay, that's a reasonable price. I came in and got a different quote $250 labor + $85.99 for 5W40 synthetic oil change. Hmm. Slightly different prices bit it's still within my budget. Donald and his team told me it'll take them two hours. I left my car with them at 10:20 AM and went to Starbucks to read. Came back at 1PM and they've told me that I needed specialty bolts to hold the oil pan up from Audi and it'll cost $60. I didn't have a choice as they've already swapped out the oil pan; just needed the bolts to tighten all the parts together. Very well. Additional $60 it is. With all the quotes, when I was billed, they wanted to charge me $290 for labor, $85.99 oil only + $30 labor for oil change & 17 points inspection, and $60 bolts. And it's 3:48 PM. I've been here over 5 hours and the prices keeps piling up. No! No! No! That's completely crap. The cashier saw that I was upset so she refunded the difference (-$40) and give me -$30 off. My total came out to $376.14 + over five hours wasted, sitting in their office. If they had known that it'll take longer, they could've mentioned it so I can go grab food. Instead, I kept getting "it'll be another 20 mins and we'll be done" x 3. Maybe it was more than three times bc I lost count. On top of that, there was another older white employee (probably manager?) smoking inside the garage; where they change oil and plenty of flammable products around. How is that up to code or safe?! As I sat there for that amount of time, I noticed that 7/10 customers where charged with additional services or were sold on extra products that they don't even need. Ridiculously hustling people. After finally getting my car, the interior wasn't even vacuum. It's a freakin' TT; two seaters, you only need to vacuum the front small space. This makes me wonder if they're just marking things of as completed when they're not even done at all. 17 points inspection my butt! What load of bullcrap! Never coming back here and I don't suggest any one supporting this type of unethical business. read more

My car was making a funny noise so I pulled over on the side of the freeway and checked I didn't see anything wrong with it, I had my daughter in the car and we were on the way to her ortho appointment. After leaving her ortho the noise was still very loud and obnoxious so we pulled into the closest mechanic shop we could find. We were immediately greeted by Yolanda who is so efficient, communicative, and friendly she offered to put the car on a lift and take a look. From there I was greeted by Solomon who educated me on when I'm supposed to rotate my tires in a little bit on the brakes. Tati greeted us with refreshments. I had the opportunity to learn from Rick and Juan about my car in depth. We ended up buying 2 new tires and the noise went away. Five stars for the folks at this Speedie location. Persistent in wanting you to get synthetic oil. I have an Infiniti, but I just get regular conventional oil. I've been driving this car for several years and not once have I had a problem with regular conventional oil. I usually go to my mechanic but he's usually busy and I just needed a quick oil change. Right off the bat, the worker kept insisting that the "manufacturer" highly recommends synthetic oil, which is weird since I've been going to the speedee oil location in San Francisco a few times, where they told me both conventional and synthetic is recommended for my car. Ok. Plus, he didn't even know the model/model year of my car. He just all of a sudden knew it needed synthetic. Then he asked me what year my car was after I told him I want conventional. No matter how much I asked, he didn't let me, so I just left. Take your business elsewhere, I guess I didn't get the memo that every red luxury car needs $80+ synthetic now lol read more

I brought my truck in as a quick response to needing an oil change. The original quoted time was 45 minutes. I was OK with this up until nearly twice that time had gone by most of which my vehicles sat in another bay doing nothing. I would've been better off, leaving it with the dealership and paying a little extra than what I got for the service that I got. I will not be going back. read more

This place is a rip off. I brown in my car at 9:00am and the guy that does the tests doesn't come in untill 9:30 so I waited. He was Vietnamese and was late 5 mins and then tells me it will take 15 mins . That was ridiculous I wait and final left and went shopping and came back after they called me an hour later to tell my car didn't pass. He said It has alittle smoke That came out of my tail pipe in short he wanted to tell me that to do smog flush out of my car would be between 100 up to 300.00 and I guarantee. I went to another place the same day and it was Smog Check in Morgan Hill and they tested it and it PASSED!!! No smoke at all ! This place is a joke And love lie about stuff ! I would like to thank Anthony the manager and An/Andy the mechanic. Anthony despite my frantic and frustrating attitude, kept it professional and reassuring. He made sure that I was well informed about my vehicle and even offered his hand to ensure my wait was comfortable as possible. An offered his expertise and commitment towards my vehicle, not to mention he had other priorities at hand. An went above and beyond during his diagnostic of my vehicle to needle down the exact issue. An and Anthony also gave me the opportunity to see exactly what work was being done, next steps, provided solutions, and quotes that best respected my budget. Beyond that, they gave me the opportunity to ask as many questions as I wanted and giving very detailed answers. An and Anthony were very attentive to my car and myself. I loved An and Anthony's "lets make it right" demeanor during my whole experience. This type of service is what I expect when going to any auto body shop, as most people aren't well versed about cars, it is wonderful to know that there are still honest people out there. Do Not get big work done here, all the work I have had done here I ended up needed to replace by dealership professionals. They saved me money in the moment but mark all your parts that get replace, check their work. Make sure they did replaced Motor mounts, or even the struts (mark it with a sharpie). Jeeze where do i even begin, yesterday March 10th 2019 i went brought my car in '08 Chrysler Sebring Limited' for what was supposed to be a simple oil change. They gave me a "complimentary" inspection and found that the PCV Valve was leaking oil all over the place somehow finding its way into the Air Intake. They gave me a quote for "ROUGHLY" around $275. a few hours later they call me back and tell me my cost would be "ROUGHLY" around $400+. Fast forward a day and now they're quoting me $900+. Seriously unprofessional service, and i highly wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. NOT EVEN IF YOUR CAR SNEEZES. Go somewhere else these guys arent worth your penny. Edit: I was willing to change my review but after some extensive back and fourth with them, these guys don't know jack diddly about vehicles (and more specifically YOURS) don't bring your car here, seriously do yourself a favor and research other places to bring it to. Went in for an oil change for my Audi Q7. I asked them how long it will take and they said it will be done in 30 mins. I didn't have a ride back, so I decided to wait at their place. After an hour it wasn't ready, I told them I have an appointment and have to come back to do it. They said the car is mounted and they can't get it off and made me wait for 3 hours to finish the job! Next day I noticed the front engine splash guard was hanging down and it was making noise while driving. On investigating found the splash guard was ripped and screws and mounts to hold the guard was missing and so the guard fell down!! Looks like while changing the oil they didn't handle the guard properly and RIP opened it and forgot to put the brackets back. I had to spend $400 to fix it. Never going back to this place read more

I'm very dissatisfied with their customer service. I got there at 9 am for an oil change and a smog check. The guy told me it would take at the most 2 hours since there was ONLY 1 CAR BEFORE ME. I told him to please try faster since I needed to get to work. I came back after 11 am. and was told by the front lady that my car hadn't even gotten started on the smog check. I was one of the first ones that got there, and yet they simply didn't care. I was very upset and went to another shop eastridge auto svcs at Tully. Those guys are the best. They did the smog check within 20 minutes compared to these guys who had me waiting for over 2 hours. Speedee terrible service. These guys need to be considerate of people's time, and if it will be over 2 hours, let the customer know, and it'll be their choice to wait or not. BUT DON'T LIE TO CUSTOMERS and say within a certain time and then not have it ready. read more

STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE (UPDATE 6hours later) I took my car in last Wednesday, April 20. They upticked the cost from 99.00 to 130.00 (because they have some sort of special euro blend). If anyone ever tries to tell you that, don't buy their marketing. End of the day they put in regular oil. This is where it gets worse. My car began leaking oil shortly after I left and within 24 hours, I had no engine oil. It's like these incompetent so called mechanics didn't know how to do an oil change, and they had the nerve to talk down on me during my visit and overprice a standard oil change. My car has not leaked oil for 5 years up until now. They damaged my engine. They had one job and they screwed up. I only went to them thinking they were quick since it was on my way to work and my regular guy wasn't available. UPDATED AREA: my mechanic was the last who changed my oil filter and advised Speedee didn't swap out my oil filter. They also forgot to put the seal along side with the drain plug. WOW.... read more

Went in for an oil change and said it would be about 45 minutes. I waited for about an hour and a half til it was done. One of the guys called me and told me about "other" things that needed done, he quoted me over $1500 for a radiator replacement, transmission flush, and new tires. I took it to my mechanic the next week, he said I didn't need anything and the oil looked dirty. I don't recommend this place unless you want to get upsold by this shady place. read more
