I'm really disappointed in this location. I usually go to the one in Dallas but My family & I happened to be in the area. I saw on FB there was a BOGO today, All you had to do was give a high five. Now we were in the area for a homeschool program for my nephew. We decided to stop by after his class. The ladies here would not honor the BOGO because he is not an adult. Seriously? Here is a young kid with his own $10 bill in his hand, he picked out his own cupcakes and he wasn't allowed. The lady told us it's one per family, I told her the post on FB says "one per guest" is he not a guest?? We were the only ones in the shop. This sprinkles is pretty convenient since they sell ice cream and cupcakes all in one shop. At the dallas location they're in two separate shops. I haven't been to sprinkles in a good minute and didn't realize how much they're prices have gone up. I personally don't think one of their cupcakes is worth 3.75. And if you use their ATM they charge you an extra 75 cents just for the box. Overpriced if you ask me. I also feel like the quality and size of the cupcakes has gone down over the years. I know they're coming out with new flavors every now and then though and they just started a cereal cupcake for the next few weeks so maybe that's a good change. They went above and beyond to make her feel extra special on her birthday with a dozen gorgeous cuppy-cakes of her choosing! Seriously who does that? They probably aren't the most exorbitantly priced cupcakes you've ever had. But they're expensive enough to make you question if they are worth it. The store itself is a pain in the ass to get to unless you're already at this development on Legacy because you have to park in a garage. So it's definitely not like your standard suburban strip mall joint where you can just pop in, pick up, and go. Wife and I are pretty big fans of Sprinkles Cupcakes. Even had the opportunity to be present for the book signing in the Dallas location. Sadly this location doesn't live the expectations we've grown accustomed too. Cupcakes weren't bad, on par with expectations. However, the service was well below standards. Not only for Legacy West but for Sprinkles. Being that we've visited 5 locations all but this one were superb. No one greeted, staff were busy talking amongst themselves or just generally tired. It was 8pm on a Saturday night but the store wasn't busy. Cashiers must have switched out as we stood for 4 mins in front of the register before someone made eye contact. I have been going to Sprinkles for years, and I have to say they have been pretty consistent every time I go in for a cupcake. I love the majority of their cupcakes. They always fulfill my sweet tooth and sugar cravings. Our recent outing was yesterday when they had a buy one get one with the secret word they send out in emails. So make sure you sign up for their emails and download their app as well to get perks rewards. We ended up with four cupcakes. That allowed me to get another free item thanks to my perks rewards which was their delicious red velvet ice cream! I had been meaning to try their ice cream, and oh my was it delicious! Honestly don't even waste your time. We drove out to the Legacy West location hoping to get nighttime cupcakes from their ATM Machine. We tried to place an order but the machine wasn't working- every time we tried to check out we got a prompted message saying the credit card has not been charged. We played around with the machine for several minutes trying to insert the credit card at different times and trying to get it to accept different credit cards but the problem was clearly with the machine. I guess they don't bother testing that their own ATM works. It's probably for the best- at $4.50 per cupcake their ATM price is already too steep. Save your time and money and go to Sugar Ray's Bake Shop or Millstone Bakery for a cupcake experience that won't leave you with a headache. read more

I bought a Black and White cupcake yesterday and while the cake tasted good, the frosting had a very odd "chemical" taste to it. It didn't taste fresh at all.... I'm wondering if they changed the recipe or what? On another note, it might be advantageous to just wait until this location fully opens back up. Sprinkles(confetti cake with rainbow sprinkles on top)- got this for my son. He took one bite and said he didn't want anymore. Have you ever heard of a 4 year old not finishing a cupcake?! Yeah. We visited the Dallas location a couple of weeks ago and had such a great experience so we were very excited to see a location open closer to home! Their gluten free red velvet cupcake is divine!! You cannot tell that it is gluten free at all. The gluten free chocolate chip cookie was cold (like it had just been removed from the cooler. That was a little disappointing. They were also out of their mini cupcakes but the staff shared that the doggie cupcakes (made with yogurt frosting instead of the sugary goodness) are quite tasty (and that they enjoy eating them occasionally too). We decided to purchase one for our 18 month old niece we were babysitting. It was a little pricy at $2.50 but just the right size. We left the store and walked down the street to the fountain to sit and enjoy our desserts. Unfortunately, they had forgotten to give us our doggy/toddler cupcake so we had to walk all the way back to retrieve it. It was worth the wait though because she loved it! So I recently found out they put a Sprinkles ATM in the new Legacy West and I was ready to try it. After we ate dinner in Legacy West we went to try out the ATM. The options are limited so be aware of that. I got the Red Velvet Cupcake. I took it home because I wanted to enjoy it in the presence of my own home. My first bite was not good. I could clearly taste the red food dye in the cupcake. I do know how hard to make them because it has taken me plenty of tries to ensure that it tastes like chocolate and not like food color.
