Good food. Enormous menu. And the portions are monstrous. We eat here often. Call ahead as it gets packed on weekends.

We came for breakfast/lunch on July 3rd, having signed on to the "wait list" ahead of time. It turned out to be a very popular morning and the South Reno location was jammed. We waited probably another 20 minutes beyond our estimated wait time but had a lovely bench in the shade out front. We're retired and weren't in a hurry. When seated, we ordered a couple of burgers and iced teas. Our server was very pleasant and apologetic about our wait for a table and then again when our food arrived, even though we hadn't complained. The servers were running and keeping up very well, and we didn't hear any complaints from those sitting around us. As always, our food was delicious, and we tried to let our server know he was doing a great job. Squeeze In trains their people well and takes good care of them. Hopefully the public at large realizes how hard they work to make their customers happy. We left full and happy as always. One observation - the patio wasn't open, maybe because there didn't appear to be any umbrellas to block the sun. This might have been part of the reason for the extra wait time, but we were happy to sit inside. Looking forward to our next visit! read more

I'd just like to say that each and every time we come in, your staff always seems genuinely happy to work there. Friendly, great service, personable--we really enjoy our visits to Squeeze. Lots of choices on the menu, food is always good. The only improvement: add specialty coffees--I'm a Latte girl, so I usually bring my own Starbucks and feel horrible doing so, but I don't drink regular coffee. read more

Love being able to sign my name in on the waitlist using my phone! I did that before I left the house...less than 15 seconds after we got there, we got our seats! So, no waiting :-) employees were wearing facial masks and signs reminding guests to wear their masks and social distance were visible everywhere :) Our servers were awesomazing! I'm sorry I didn't get their names :/ next time I will :) I got the Pumpkin Pancakes and they were HUGE, fluffy, and yummilicious! My daughter got her potatoes and eggs -- she also ate my pancakes :-) requested for a booster seat for my daughter last minute and we got that quickly :) and she loved it -- she felt taller. Visited this location with two of my coworkers for brunch one day. I ordered the King Crab Benny with a mimosa. Also got the potatoes, Otis style. Food was so delicious! The mimosa was just alright. First time at this squeeze inn this past Sunday, what a kooky quirky space. Wish we could have eaten on patio, but that goes fast so get there early or be prepared to wait. Everyone was super friendly from the host Ty to the girl who sat us to our waiter to the girl that brought out the food i wish I knew all their names to shout them out but only caught Connor, who was fantastic. He wasn't pushy or annoyed when I asked for more time looking at the extensive menu. He wasn't put off when hubby and I decided to split a meal (for a surcharge). So let's get right to that meal --- delicious! We shared the "racy Tracy" which is a huge omelette with mushrooms, bacon, cheese and avocado. Upgraded the potatoes to have cheese on them and I loved these potatoes. Perfectly crisp on outside and soft inside. Great first experience and I'm looking forward to coming back. Hubby loved it. Side note ---- I was lookin for the women's bathroom and there are two doors next to each other - one says "men" on a handwritten sign and the door next to it isn't noted except for a big stop sign on the door, but with all the weirdness around me I didn't actually think it meant "stop" and figured this had to be the women's restroom. As you guessed it was not, it was the water heater and a girl at the table next to it pointed to the door ACROSS from the men's room, clearly marked women. I used to go to Squeeze In multiple times a week. I loved their Racy Tracy, Manly Morris, and Queen Maggie (the current Foo's French Toast breakfast is a nerf of what the Queen Maggie used to be at the same pricepoint). At some point they reduced how much they gave with the Manly Morris and Queen Maggie while also charging extra for their real maple syrup (it used to be free) : (. On top of that with the extra service charge and tip charge I kind of stopped going. I'd still semi-recommend it. It's also always incredibly packed. We were ready for a new breakfast stop and ended up here. Since we just finished our fasting, we were starving! We beat the morning crowd and were seated quickly. I already new What I wanted to order (the most requested omelette) and the hubby got bacon, hash browns and biscuit. I really liked the homemade shredded potatoes (rare to find), and the biscuit with gravy was fluffy. My omelette was fluffy, but had more mushrooms than I prefer and the bacon pieces were a tad bigger. I did notice the only difference were no garnishments (slice of orange or even parsley would of been nice). Our server was very efficient as we told her it was our first time. The menu was large with lots of options. I was also impressed with the separate vegan menu. Hubby likes to get corn beef and hash but that wasn't on the menu. Next visit will be for lunch! read more

Updated: I used to love Squeeze in, but after coming here for over 15 years it is time to move on! Such a bummer, but this place has fallen so hard. Very expensive quality is awful. My last three visits have all been so bad. Dry food, so bland, presentation is even lacking. The food, not the staff, has been bad. Finally, I have to find my new go-to. Squeeze In has become our go-to father's day tradition, this year was no different. Before leaving the house, I joined the 'wait list' via Yelp and loved the functionality of being able to see my place in line. The timing was a bit off and we had to wait longer than quoted but marked it up to the difficulty of judging wait times in a reduced capacity situation (reduced seating during COVID). Staff was mostly wearing masks and the waiting area inside was closed. The tables were far enough apart that I felt comfortable. I also liked having the QR code on the table as an option to view the menu instead of physical menus. The service is always great, we're here enough that the staff knows us which adds to the experience. You can see from the photos that we had quite the spread, everything came out exactly as ordered in truly about 12 minutes which was remarkable! My wife had the Chilaquiles for the first time and loved them. I had the Lake Taco with chorizo, which is what I get EVERY time. I always look at the menu as if I'm going to try something else but never do. My daughter had the Foo's French Toast, Queen Style with eggs, bacon, and a side of hashbrowns. Great experience in this fun little breakfast spot. The eggs Benedict and potatoes were perfectly cooked and super delicious. The mocha was a delicious treat. They were very busy but we were able to get a table in 20 minutes. They were out of forks!?! But they got us some about a minute after our food arrived. I had to ask for my coffee to be refilled. Because I love a great breakfast place I was really hoping to add this to my list of 'Go To places' Sadly neither my husband or myself were thrilled with the Squeeze In. Even though we were seated immediately, it took our server quite a while to take our order. A Couple seated after us in another section were eating their meals as the waitress took our order. On the upside our food arrived quickly once ordered. My husband usually orders omelettes and choose the Nebraska Rae. I settled with the Chipotle Benny which is a spin on a Benedict with Spanish chorizo and chipotle hollandaise. Both of us decided on the homestyle fried potatoes. The potatoes were average and that was ok because the Benny was overloaded with heat. I enjoy a bit of the kick from spice but only when it's accompanied with other flavor. The spice here totally overpowered the dish. My husband reported that his omelet was nothing extraordinary. All in all the menu looked exciting but the food did nothing to prompt a return visit. read more

I know this defies popular opinion but I was not a fan of Squeeze In and I'm actually really surprised at the number of locations they have. Walking into the S Reno location it felt a bit obnoxious, but seemed to match their menu theme. I spent a good amount of time deciding what to order because nothing was tugging at my taste buds. The menu is large (in size) and loud but doesn't contain a whole lot of variety. I went with a good friend who's also never eaten here and we like to share food to taste variety. We settled on their Mini Morris (basic eggs & potatoes w/ ham) and the Racy Tracy Omlete. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't good either, and at $40 for 2 people for breakfast it was disappointing. The omelet was dry and their spudz (homefries) seemed almost deep fried with zero seasoning. And since the potatoes had a fried-like shell the salt just rolled off when I seasoned them. Definitely not cooked on the griddle, as most good breakfast/brunch restaurants would cook them. Both meals lacked flavor and love and came across as decent cafeteria food. I was warned about this place but figured I tried see for myself. Consider yourself warned. By the way, the service was great so be sure to continue tipping the service even if you don't enjoy the meal. read more

Service was really good - the host and servers were peppy and really gave off good energy. The food however , was quite bland. I was surprised given how many good ratings this place has received but the spuds were completely under seasoned (maybe not seasoned at all) and the pancake tasted like bisquick. We stopped in for breakfast on our way out of town. I'm so glad we chose to come here. My friend got the Racy Tracy and I got the Spanish Flay. We decided to share them so we could try both. They were delicious and generous in size. The potatoes were also incredible. I love a potato that is crispy instead of mushy. We each added onions, but also could have added cheese. Squeeze In is okay, but it is so expensive for what you get, I don't think we will be back. I could literally cook my husband and I breakfast all week for the price we paid for us both to eat here today. I ordered the Foo breakfast (French toast, eggs scrambled with cheese, bacon crispy and I added a side of avocado). My husband had the peach French toast and added a side of eggs and bacon. I totally understand that cheese and avocado are an extra charge, but $1.50 for cheese on eggs is a little much, especially when you're giving me 2 slices of bread, 2 eggs and 2 pieces of bacon for $13. My french toast came on the same plate as my eggs, so my eggs were covered in cinnamon and powdered sugar. The regular french toast is nothing special, it is really just bread. My bacon wasn't crisp at all so it was left on the plate. My husband enjoyed his peach french toast, but we watched it be delivered to another table, then returned to the pass bar, before it made its way to us. Like the others have said, our food was less than hot. Our server never returned to our table until we had to flag her down to ask for more coffee. The girl who was prebussing the tables asked us if we were done when we still had food on our plate and were actively eating. It was a weird experience for breakfast and for the two of us, the total came out to be $45 before the tip! The benefit of this restaurant was that we were able to join the wait list online before we arrived. Next time, I'll skip this place, cook my own eggs and bacon and save thirty bucks. read more

tried this place due to reviews. i ordered the queen French toasts that had the cream filling. Usually not my thing but thought I'd try. Unfortunately it seems they spilled the cinnamon on my food because the cinnamon was everywhere and essentially took over the entire plate. the food that my family had looked good. the pancakes were good. There are drugs in the chocolate covered bacon.... Hear me out. I've been here three times and every single time always had the chocolate covered bacon. If there are not drugs in this bacon covered chocolate I just don't understand it, but I won't question it because I never want the chocolate covered bacon to ever go away. It will be a sad terrible day for me. Today I finally went with my other half to try their brunch and of course everything was delicious. I typically enjoy going to new places every single time I go out but here I will beeline line for every single time because I know I will be very happy with the food and of course the incredibly large house mimosas. Today we ordered the big Johnson which is like a pizza omelette type of deal and my other half ordered the crab sandwich. Though both of us agreed mine was the better of the two orders we still left very happy campers. If you intend to come here more than once I would recommend that you join their club that uses your email address to accrue points. On your wedding anniversary or whatever anniversary you put down you will get a bottle of champagne which I think is very generous. The atmosphere here is fun whimsical and very kitschy. Service here is very quick and the wait staff is always happy to recommend you their favorites. If you're looking for a no frills, delicious, HUGE breakfast, this is your place! With their huge menu, there is something for everyone! I really enjoyed that they took some old classics and added their own twist too some of the menu items. We can here for brunch and I was starving!! I got the Manly Morris Meal because it was a little bbt off everything including one of my favorite brunch favorites - biscuits and gravy. Now, I consider myself more or less a biscuit snob BUT this one did not disappoint.
