Went on a Monday evening. Parking lot is right behind the restaurant. The restaurant is located amidst all office buildings. The parking lot could do with a bit of lights. It's engulfed in darkness. Ordered the combo 2 which came with upma, 1 idli, 1 wada, sabudana payasam and chutneys, sambhar The onion uttappam size was considerable and it was very tasty and filling The onion rava masala size was also good. It was very crispy and enjoyable Don't miss the Bella filter coffee. It is South Indian filter coffee with jaggery! Absolutely delicious and authentic

During Ganesh Festival Season, they bring in different Alankaran every day featuring each god and goddesses alankaran. Amazing to see such dedication and devotion. Saw the beautiful Lord Venki Alankaran today with such stunning view of Lord Ganesha. The thali on the auspicious Ganesh Chathurthi day was too good that filled with different dishes.

Thoughtful Kolam Decor adds to the vibe of this place. We visited Sri Ananda Bhavan followed by a Hindu temple visit. The food did not disappoint here! We were here on the weekday evening so the place wasn't crowded and we got the table without any wait. They have an outside patio where they serve Panipuri, Masalapuri and other snacks like Bun Maska Chai etc. We tried Panipuri and it was really good. We had Masala Puri too. Us being from Pune-Mumbai we expected a different dish but this Blore style Masala Puri was really tasty. Indoor we had coconut Masala Dosa, which was least favorite of all the things we tried here. Freshly grated coconut might taste better in this dish. Onion Uttapa and chatanis were good. We also liked the filter coffee here. I definitely recommend this place and we will come back when in the area.

We recently tried their Special Banana Leaf thali and surprised at the number of items. Husband thoroughly enjoyed it!

This is for their live dosa party for catering!! They are amazing!!!!! Alex set up the dosa station and all the yummy food with no fuss super quickly and was making some of the most delicious dosas you can think of! Crispy and flavorful all our guests loved it! He was super nice to all the guests and helped them decide what they wanted. Many had dosa for first time and he made it special for them. The gongura masala, ghee podi, coconut dosa were phenomenal - kids loved chocolate and cheese dosas! We love going to Anand bhavan regularly too - it's not greasy, super flavorful

Nice fast service, love the variety on the menu. Ordered the poori Chana and it was delicious! Would come back again to try more things in the menu.

Their ambience and service was really good. Food options were good as well. I liked their south indian thali, it felt homemade. I also really liked their madras filter coffee 5/5. I ordered samosa chaat which was good 4/5. I ordered onion chilli rava masala dosa. It was ok, I'd give it 3/5. I've had better.

Found another nice Bangalore benne dosa option close to work. Food is also tasty and slightly spicy side..quick service and welcoming simple ambiance. Have visited here few times and can vouch for consistent quality n tasty food. They also have an outdoor extension for large groups to hang out for evening Indian food snack items and Pani puri...and one of my fav irani chai and bun maska

This was my second time trying this place. The first time I only tried the outside Street food which my experience was great as well. Let me warn you though, don't be like me and ask for spicy because my tongue was on fire. LOL. This time around we are inside and had the Dosa with some dipping sauces. They are big portions so I'd advise to share and maybe order a different dish. It's a fun place to share and try different things. We honestly didn't really know how to order but the staff was very helpful. This place is casual. Outside has music and chairs and heaters on a cold day. There's so much more I would like to try. I recommend this place. Great food and full of flavor and spice.

TLDR : Great food, good options for south indian thali and wonderful service. We visited Ananda Bhavan for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The thali was good with multiple options and each of the options were good. Their filter coffee was nice and strong.

Tried this place out for the first time and it was pretty good. The Kara dosa especially was good with the potato filling pretty flavorful. The peanut chutney was also pretty good. Idly fry was decent but the spice / taste didn't blow me away. Place seemed decently clean as did the open kitchen. It really the best ambience, but given the food was good and the place clean I will be back to try other items. Would recommend as I think it's one of the better South Indian restaurants in the area.

    Jain options include what dishes?

Idly, Vada, Pongal and few dosa's can be made jain and also serves jain chutney and sambar. If you need anything specific, they also do for specific dishes.

Are the dipping sauces that come with the Dosa vegan or do they have animal products? I am asking specifically if they have dairy (cows milk) or eggs because I am allergic to dairy and eggs. Thanks.

Each of those have a different ingredient. Most of them don't

The soups are relatively flavourful for vegan broths. The curry fried rice is delicious as well. I also appreciate the variety of drink options made with vegan milk substitutes. The service is pretty fast considering how busy it gets. Some of the workers can't speak much English, but it hasn't been an issue. The dosa is crisp and the fermented flavor is delicate. The filtered coffee is popular so I had to try it, and I love it. I'm not sure everyone would like it though. It's a strong coffee, slightly bitter even with sugar. The milk is poured with a long pull to create foam. The foam is light, not creamy or velvety like a latte. It's a very small portion in a small cup, and it's HOT, very HOT. I like it but I can see how other people might not. I was confused the first time I went in to eat because seating and ordering is not typical. When you first walk in, you go to the host and they'll give you a number then you walk to the room to your left to order and pay. You're given a chip if you order a coffee or tea and move over to the right. You give your chip to the person preparing the drinks for you. They ask your preference and hand over the very HOT drink. Then you sit at the table with your number on it. Your food is brought over fairly quickly. They bring extra sambar and chutney if needed, no extra charge. The dosa comes filled with turmeric spiced potato and on the side chutney (not my fave) and sambar which is so so good. You break a little dosa and dip and or scoop some of the sambar/ chutney. It's a casual setting and it gets pretty busy, especially on weekends. There are a ton of these types of restaurants and I'm pretty certain I've found the best one here!

Very efficient ordering process and delivered to your table. Tables are numbered. The filtered coffee is really good. We got it medium level (versus strong) with jaggerty (a type of sugar versus regular sugar). The coffee chef pours the coffee into small tin cups and then pours hot milk on top and tops it with frothy milk foam. My husband and I ordered a Masala Dosa which came with a white chutney and red chutney and sambar (soup); and a Mega Tiffin which had a more tightly rolled Masala Dosa (with potatoes, greens, onions inside, sambar, the 2 chutneys, 1 idyly (white bun), 2 vadais (donut shaped savory fritter), pongol (creamy grain - lentil and rice combo). I also had a mango lassi. The dosas were crisp and fresh and the filling was not too spicy for us. We really liked the dosas and the variety of other dishes that are also served. The coffee was very good. We had considered getting the Mylapore dosa, but the cashier mentioned it is spicy so we opted for the Masala one instead. Staff were friendly and helpful as we told them it was our first time there. We parked in the parking lot. Our server said often the parking lot is full and people park nearby and walk in. The restaurant was fairly full at that time with only a few tables available. Ambiance was casual and nice with high ceilings, booths or tables. We sat in a booth. Table was pretty and lots of natural light. You go in and get a table number. You take the menu and table card to the cashier and order. Then, you get your coffee and/order mango lassi (or other drink) and take it to your numbered table. A server brings your food out to your table.

Yesterday we were celebrating my husband's birthday at Valley Goat, right from the get-go, the service seemed off. I called in the evening to check what time would last call be at. Our reservation was at 9:30pm and we wanted to make sure all our guests are able to order in time. The person on call first mentioned 9:30 which was odd because when I checked they were taking reservations for 9:45pm as well so I was like?? Anyway, hearing that I moved our reservation for 9pm since the whole party was coming to the restaurant after work on a weekday. We were running late and called the restaurant to inform them we were reaching by 9:15pm Exactly at 9:15 pm we get a rude call from the host asking us to confirm the EXACT time(to which we said we were right around the corner and would be there in 2min) and that the goat empanadas we specifically requested for may be gone in the next two minutes and that the restaurant shuts at 10pm and we would have to stop dining by then. Which was strange because what about the 9:45 pm reservations? You kick those people out in 15 min? Anyway there is NO acknowledgement of my husband's birthday the whole night, no free dessert not even a candle on the dessert. The server is in a hurry to take away our plates while we are working on them. The server was also not warm. By far, the WORST experience at this high end restaurant we have experienced. I'm not sure if the management and staff have changed but this is not how disappointing I expected my husband's birthday to be. If you do not want to serve customers late in the night maybe don't take reservations past 8:30pm? I understand staff wants to go home but it is their responsibility to take care of their customers and honor late reservations just the way they honor any other reservations. I highly doubt we will be coming back.

A simple greeting, confirming the order, and then politely requesting payment would have made all the difference. Great customer service and protecting your business can absolutely go hand in hand. The food was outstanding, but the experience made me feel unwelcome. Sadly, because of the customer service, I don't see myself returning.

Wow. Could not have been happier with the food!…read more Will present the food in the order I would recommend: Banana fritters- soft clouds of fried dough, over some rum dark chocolate sauce. Divine! 7/5 Curry cauliflower over a red non spicy sauce. Refreshing! The flavors blended together with the flavorful but not overpowering flavor, with the well balanced sauce underneath. Could not stop eating it. $17 8/5 Mezze plate - the coconut feta was very creamy and good, I really enjoyed the pomegranate arugula salad with pickled onion and with the pieces of falafel inside. The flatbread was a little hard, but good. The eggplant was good and hummus also good. $32 price a little steep for the platter 6/5 Impossible cheeseburger - classic impossible burger. The standout item was the fries, quite good! Crisp outside and soft inside. 5/5 French toast - ok, a little dry, the berry sauce was good but lacking a little dynamic flavor maybe some citrus? 3/5 Cookie with vegan ice cream. Alas, pastries are still difficult to make well vegan 3/5 Service was a little distracted and hard to order. Bussing was very on top of it. I will return for the top items

Everyone ordered different dishes so we could try a lot of things from the menu. 1/5 Athenian Eggplant - Far too sour and the flat bread was SO HARD. Even carb lovers didn't want to finish it. 4/5 Green Falafel - Came warm and the tzatziki sauce was pretty good. 4/5 French fries - Sauces were interesting. 1/5 Mushroom bao - ONE small piece of fried mushroom in each of the two baos that came out. It was stuffed with sour lettuce instead. 2/5 Corn pizza - That coconut mozz was not it for me. 3/5 Chicken sandwich - Solid. Drinks were good! What's up Doc was my fave. Located in the corner of the plaza next to CVS. Good service.

I paired my meal with a Nepal Ice Beer, which was refreshing and complemented the food perfectly. The highlight, without a doubt, was the Chicken Chilli. The balance of spice, salt, sweetness, and Chilli sauce was exceptional--every bite was perfectly seasoned. I've traveled across four continents--Asia, Europe, North America, and Australia--and I can honestly say this is one of the best Chicken Chilli dishes I've ever had. The flavor balance and execution were simply outstanding. Unfortunately, I had to rush to catch my flight, so I couldn't stay as long as I wanted. Even so, the meal left a lasting impression, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town. Highly recommended for anyone looking for incredible food, a relaxing atmosphere, and an unforgettable dining experience.

I ordered the sampler momo and chicken curry to share between 2 people. Just enough food I might recommend getting an extra small portion of momos. Food was delicious. Flavor was awesome. Not overwhelming yet still packed with flavor. The filling was good and some quite juicy too. Tap to pay is accepted. Overall, California MoMo Kitchen has some delicious food. Service is ok too. Food did take a while but the ambiance was nice and peaceful while waiting.

I was informed that the patio is open and to order using a QR code at one of the tables in the patio. You have to sign in and create an account to order. It took me a minute to order. I wanted to try their specialty dishes especially because they have mushroom dishes and soy protein dishes. But by the time I was able to figure out how to order and sign up, I was pressed for time to order a meal and ended up ordering crispy spring rolls. Once your order is placed, you wait for a text to let you know your order is ready. Then I have to pick up at the window. Spring rolls were okay. I really wanted to try the crispy oyster mushrooms or the lion mane mushroom dish. Or even the Sea Fruits plate but I wasn't going to have enough time to enjoy them. The patio was fine. A few picnic tables. You bus your own table at the end. Everything they used was biodegradable. I wish it was a better experience. The food looked delicious in pictures, but eating in an outdoor patio, ordering from a QR code, and picking up your food from the window made for a sad and sub par experience.
