    Santa Fe Stack

Santa Fe Stack was so delicious!! It was so hard to decide on which stack I wanted to try...guess I'll need to come more often to try them all! The server was amazing! She gave great suggestions and was super polite and attentive. I went on a Friday morning so it wasn't too busy. It was great timing. Not too loud. The mimosa flight was awesome! Great way to try multiple flavors. The cranberry and sunrise were my favorite flavors. Definitely not too sweet at all! Strong. I recommend getting the flight if you want to try different flavors. I will be coming back and brining my friends!

Stacks was awesome and the food thankfully was good considering we were just passing through. Decent prices and very nice customer service. Thank you everybody enjoyed their plates.

Wow!!!! A brunch gem on California Ave A PERFECT place to have a great meal with family and friends. They serve great good and service always came with a smile. They were so kind to make suggestions and kept my coffee mug full. I would definitely come back with my family and try the bacon waffle ...

This place was good. It was our first time trying this spot and it was okay. I did feel the food was a bit on the pricier side for a cafe but none the less we enjoyed it.

Stacks is a great place to meet because it's right in the middle. My wife was coming from the west I was coming from the east, and Stacks was right off the 99 freeway. We split the avocado BLT sandwich with fries. Service was quick. It's an ample size to plate and it satisfied us both. It was a beautiful day to sit outside. This is a great friendly neighborhood diner. That's perfect for a quick meal.

Overall food had no flavor. Service was mid however it was a busy Sunday morning. Mimosa was underwhelming.

Chile Verdé Omelette was nice and spicy and the stack chicken fried steak was delicious! Serene was our waiter super attentive and sweet !

Serene was a great sweet attentive waiter and the food was yummy! Verde sauce was yummy and spicy , stacks country fried chicken was nice and crunchy !

I met 4 of my friends here for breakfast & right away, the restaurant was busy at 9:00 on a Saturday. That's how you know it's good. By the time we left, there were several parties waiting to be seated. I love the options & variety on the menu! My friends ordered a ham & cheese omelette, Santa Fe stack, chile verde stack, sides of tomatoes & pancakes (I forgot to take a pic of the pancakes) & I got the eggs Benedict. Everyone loved their food & ate their whole plates. I do have to say that the eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked & packed with rich flavor. I was also able to substitute my potatoes with fruit without an up charge, which is always good in my book! They also accommodated my fruit allergy & removed the melons for me. Such a simple gesture that truly makes all the difference. I also loved their coffee! Everything was reasonably priced! I paid $20 for my meal & coffee. The reason I gave 4 stars is because the service was slow. Our server was Angie & she was wonderful! She was friendly, we made good conversation & she was wonderful about accommodating my allergy, as well an ensuring I got my coffee refills! It was slow when we were waiting to pay. We waited at our table for about 20 minutes with our checks & cards ready. Eventually we all paid using the QR code, which is fine but it would've been better to communicate that they prefer us to pay that way & that they will not take our payment for us at the table. Maybe that's not their protocol & they were simply busy but communication was lost. Other than that, the food was great. I loved it!

Stacks Cafe food definitely delivered. The country breakfast was fire, and the country potatoes were perfectly crispy just how I like them. The biscuits were soft and delicious, and even my husband enjoyed them too. I also had the California omelette with hash browns, and everything tasted really good. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, with a relaxed, classic diner feel that makes it a nice spot to sit down and enjoy a meal. The only downside was the service. Our waitress was super nice, but follow-up took a bit long, and waiting to cash out also took some time. With a little improvement there, the experience would be even better.

Went in on a Monday afternoon for lunch. Staff service was quick and friendly. My favorite food is their breakfast options. The spicy chicken sandwhich was good, it was the average chicken sand which. I have a low spice tolerance and was perfectly fine. The redwood club sandwhich was also good, bacon was cooked crispy and the avocado was fresh. I will say, the chicken could use more flavor. Soft drinks were good and the side of fries and onion rings were delicious.

I would give it a 3.5 starts, not quite 4. Food took a little long to make, and bland- at that! Needed a little more flavor. Salt and pepper wasn't on the table, so I grabbed it from another one across from us. I asked for Tajín rims on our mimosas, didn't get that. Perhaps I'll go another time for redemption, but not anytime soon.

    The chili verde burrito

Very nice atmosphere, I've eaten from the menu and I have loved every dish. The chili verde is good it has a nice heat to it.

Simply put, Stack's Cafe is a delightful eatery. It is very spacious with excellent lighting and quirky decor. We arrived at 11 this morning and nearly all the tables were occupied. We were seated to the right of the front door. It wasn't the ideal space because each time the door opened and it opened a lot while we sat there, there was a gust of cold wind. Our server was very attentive and apologetic (for the delays). As for the food, every dish was made with love and nuanced with care. We cannot wait to return.

Globalization and the world within, for f' sakes! This place is truly brilliant. More recently, I'm only in town a few days out of the week, but I make a point to visit this location or their other location, Mokhamena on Panama, each day I'm here to, at a minimum, pick up two for myself--the first one is to function and the second is to savor. SMITTENS STAPLE IS THEIR ABILITY TO MISS THE FLAVOR IN EVER SINGLE DISH…read more Update: coming back after some palate development... smitten is one of the most tasteless restaurants in town. Their hype was definitely due to the 'aesthetic'. Nothing is really outstanding to me. The drinks are such a let down, the coffee is borderline yuck.. do not recommend. Everything is quite unmemorable. Service is whatever, sometimes mid, sometimes bad. Nothing outstanding. Ambiance.... well... this one has been replicated one too many times. The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer. I stopped recommending them a long time ago.

If im clueless let me in on the Vietnamese coffe you know of...anyhoo If you're looking for a caffeine kick, the cold canned Vietnamese coffee will give you a jolt you wouldn't believe. Food-wise, the Peruvian grilled cheese sandwich was flavorful and well made, but I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side unless you enjoy a messy sandwich. The ham and cheese croffel had great flavor, but it was a little light on the ham and cheese. I think the cropples are better suited in the sweet variety as they seem small incompressants to a ham and cheese croissant someone would purchase for about half that price. In my opinion, it was more of a kid's snack than a meal and not quite worth the price, if you're actually hungry I would go with something else off the menu. Everything was made fresh , you must be patient here , perfection can be slower than your metabolism, so dont go there hangry. During my visit, Hector explained that he envisions Uncharted Adventures as a gathering place for the community. The business frequently hosts weekend vendor markets and local running clubs. Hector also shared he was creating a dedicated Memorial Day wall honoring local veterans, first responders, and teachers, while also working on an outdoor eating area. It's always great to see a Hector and Chris, and the new Adventures they take on. This is one of the few coffee shops in Bako worth checking out, whether you're stopping in for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a community events theyre hosting give em a visit an introduce yourself.
