FINALLY a Japanese style sandwich spot (and soon to be available bento boxes) COMING SOON! And a shop with matcha and hojicha drinks. Sandwiches 5/5. The packaging for the sandwiches made with love. easy to grab, without making a mess. Chicken sando, Egg, and Pork all of the above SLAMMMMMIN! Get there early it gets packed and sold out!

We snuck into Stand recently, the lines are always insane so we caught a small lull and even had a chance to sit down and eat inside. Food was well packaged and had good portions. The drinks were my favorite - i had the strawberry matcha latte. Looking forward to them expanding their menu, it's already posted in the restaurant of what they'll have soon. Very excited to visit again when the whole menu is available. There's very limited parking, even down where Stand is, def recommend walking if you can.

the chicken katsu sando is out of this world! the homemade milk bread is soft and flavorful and the perfect complement to the lightly breaded and fried juicy chicken. the hojicha was really tasty as well and my friend said her matcha was a 10/10. i got the special version of the hojocha with the sweetener and while i dont usually like my drinks sweet, this was perfectly balanced. i cant wait to go back! ps - not sure how it gets throughout the day, but i arrived 5 minutes before opening on a thursday and there were 5 people waiting in line.

Here's a smoother, more natural version you could use as a review: Super disappointed. I was really excited to finally try this spot for lunch. I waited outside in the line (where it clearly says "Line Starts Here") with about seven people ahead of me for nearly 30 minutes in the sun, only to get inside and be told they had already run out of the majority of their menu items. I feel like they could have been much more proactive by having someone come outside to let everyone waiting know what was no longer available. It would have saved people a long wait in the heat and a lot of disappointment. Hopefully they improve the communication because the experience before even ordering wasn't a great one.

Finally an authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced Japanese cafe in Miami! My friends and I loved everything we ordered during the soft opening, as we expected given its the chef behind nearby Michelin starred restaurant Shingo. There was a line of around 10 people at 8:30 on Saturday. Food took about 30 minutes but was worth the wait. I can't wait to return to try their other menu items!

Phenomenal! The signature Hojicha latte had amazing nutty flavor and had the perfect amount of sweetness which was minimal. The chicken katsu sando was perfectly crispy and tasted as good as the photo. Drink was made quickly, food was about a 30 minute wait. They just have a soft opening week of June 4th so not all items on the menu available yet. Staff was super sweet!

The best matcha I've ever had! And the Japanese sandos were crazy good! It's worth the wait. I can feel the love put into the entire place!

Spicy tuna roll looked and tasted like beat up tuna and the hamachi was drenched in soy sauce before getting plated on top of soy sauce and oil at the bottom. Why?! The only sushi roll that didn't have imitation crab or tempura shrimp was the Seattle amigo roll, but it was drenched in sweet sauce. 0/10 would not recommend anything we ordered if you enjoy good sushi...

For happy hour, I've had the rainbow poke ($7), and the buy 2 get 1 skewers, and the ebi croquette ($11). All were good but not that filling. I would say in terms of deals, you get more bang for your buck with the lunch specials. For lunch, I shared the mai premium lunch ($28) and the udon soup ($16). The premium lunch came with miso soup and 9 small dishes in a beautiful bento box. Definitely aesthetically pleasing and I liked the variety. The udon soup was also great with chewy udon noodles, sweet savory soup, and tempura shrimp/veggies. Service was attentive and nice. Parking available via street parking or you can pay in nearby parking garages. I wouldn't bring a big party based on the limited seating arrangements inside. All in all good food. I would consider coming back for their lunch specials.

I've been three times already, and it's plain out the best nigiri and sashimi I've ever had. The quality of the dishes is on another level. The variety of dishes changes seasonally. Smoky, glazed eel meeting briny caviar in one bite ...I actually paused for a second on that one. Hotate with seasonal vegetables kept things light before the tachiuo don came through. Then the nigiri run: makogarei( marbled flounder ), kinmedai(golden eye snapper) kohada(gizzard shad), nodoguro(blackthroat seaperch) you can literally taste the sourcing in every piece. And the bluefin tuna trio (a 309lb catch straight from Yamaguchi) was genuinely the highlight of the night. Fatty, clean, melt in your mouth good. Ikura and Hokkaido uni kept the luxury going before the negitoro handroll and tamago brought it back to something simple and comforting. Cheesecake and matcha ice cream to close it out .. it was sweet without being too much. This one's staying in my top omakase spots in Miami. Worth the price tag, worth the hype.

This spot is located in an unassuming shopping center where a Nicklaus building is, which is perfect for when you're in the mood to keep a low profile. It's a small, intimate restaurant with counter top seating and a few tables. From the moment we walked in, the folks chopped it up with us and made jokes, which is great because it broke the ice in a way that felt like you were amongst friends. Excellent service all around. We sat at one of the tables as we intended to do a lot of talking and didn't want to be noisy at the counter. We decided to take the recommendation of the staff and did the omakase express option and a sake sampler pairing with three different kinds. No notes here because everything was great, there were several "MMMM!" moments (wish I remembered what each bite was!) and the first sake we got (pictured) was fantastic. Would definitely buy it to have at home. Big shout out to Allie, who covered our table on her first day, was very cool and definitely helped steer the dinner in the right direction. If you're in the Doral area and in the mood for some quality Japanese, definitely stop by here!
