This Starbucks it's always busy. There was one cashier and two baristas, the line moves slow but it's understandable. I went in with my kids this afternoon, there was about 10 people or more inside while I was placing my order. Half of my order was ready, so I went to the pickup area. The barista who handed me my drinks asked me if "they were all with me". I said yes, so he continued to tell me "if I can have them wait outside, because they had reached the maximum of people allowed inside". I understand we are in a pandemic, but I did feel like I was picked on because of the kids. I didn't appreciate being singled out from other customers waiting for their drinks. There should be someone in charge of keeping count. I did tell him I was already waiting inside if he would ask someone who hasn't placed an order to wait outside, as I was missing half of my order. They didn't ask anyone else, or stopped new customers from coming in. read more

I stopped at this Starbucks one morning to grab a mobile order. I saw my breakfast sandwich and assumed the drink next to it was mine as well. However, I got to work and noticed the drink had no label on it. So I called the store just to make sure I didn't grab someone else's coffee. I also explained to them that I get coconut milk in my drink because I'm lactose intolerant. The employee was not very concerned and didn't really seem to care. And after I had JUST said I'm allergic to milk, all he kept repeating was, "well why don't you just go ahead and try it?" I tried to reply politely, "I can't. I just told you I can't drink real milk!" He didn't seem very apologetic or anything. It was just a weird poor costumer service interaction. I never thought I will encounter such an establishment as dishonest and deceiving as this one. I recently ordered a trenta size mango dragonfruit refresher drink using the mobile app that will be picked up by a friend. My friend doesn't have any idea of what my order was but she was confident to pick it up since it is under my name. Got my warmed banana walnut bread right. But to my surprise... the drink I got does not look right at all. There is no way I can return it and complain in person. To the management and staff of this Starbucks location, i get it that this drink is so on demand for the summer. But please respect your customers and treat them fairly. If you are out of stock with your ingredients or supply, at least be honest with your customers and do not keep our hopes high. We can have other options if things are not feasible. It was very hot and very tired, and I wanted to get my drink asap. After order, I got drink which I didn't order it. This Starbucks doesn't have reachable outlets. Their power outlets are only on the ceiling...12 foot high ceilings, so no way of reaching them, even if you climb on the table. They used to have (two) power outlets on the wall available for customers to charge phones, etc, but they've since blocked them off with a cover plate. Obviously not a Starbucks that wants its customers to linger. read more

This Starbucks is located in the heart of Alhambra at the NW corner of 1st and Main. The store itself isn't all that big so for folks that like to hang out and sit at tables there there isn't much space here. I ordered a coconut milk mocha macchiato and the barista did a great job. I didn't come across any issues or any complaints. It's a standard Starbucks with great drinks and service. Now that there's a parking structure across the street it makes it a little easier to find a parking spot. There is that one section on the first row where it's 24 minute parking and hopefully you luck out and find a spot there and run in and get your drink. read more

Super clean, and the employees here greet you, and make you feel happy to be there to grab your coffee. Their customer service is top notch!! Today I accidentally dropped my keys in the trash can! Pick up here is ridiculous. Half the time the drinks are ready but the unfriendly guy named Matt in the front ignores you when you let him know you are there to pick them up. This happened twice already. So be aware that your drink may be ready but Matt doesn't give a crap. The rest of the staff are pretty friendly. Wait times are generally longer than estimated, too, but it is a popular location. read more

This Starbucks is where I run to on my morning runs, like literal runs, when I wake up early enough to go running. It's close enough that I'm not running ten miles and far enough away that I feel like I actually worked out. There isn't a lot of parking, but the baristas are pretty quick at their jobs. This location is near a high school and it's basically ransacked by the teenage rush in the mornings. If you go anytime after 8am, be ready for them to be out of most flavors. If you go before 8am, the new barista is chatting it up with the early high school patrons instead of working on the backlog of drinks. I've been to many Starbucks locations, and this one really stands out to me. I guess you could say I'm a regular because I go about 3-4 times a week, and each time I walk in the door it feels like a great start to my morning. The staff is always cheerful and they always greet me with a smile. Andrea really goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and always makes sure my drink is made perfectly. Her attitude and energy are just what I need to kick start my day, and I can't imagine going anywhere else after experiencing this location. You guys are doing a great job, keep it up! read more

All Starbucks are more or less the same as far as good and friendly service go. However, this Starbucks simply goes beyond expectations. This is maybe one of a handful of restaurants I frequent who know me well. Customer service is a two way street. And you get back tenfold what you put in and what your attitude is. And this store, under the management of Esteban, has a winning and sincere attitude. I am always disappointed if I have to use another branch. They keep them inside so you really don't know if your order is ready -- they seemed short staffed so it was also hard to get a hold of one of them to just ASK if my name was ready. I usually drop into random Starbucks when I have a little downtime to check the cleanliness of restrooms, interaction with staff and environment. Unfortunately, I have this SB low rating it's very busy but offers little seating indoors and I was only able to locate one plug. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The restroom was ok could have been better. Parking isn't the best directly outside is 24min parking and meters. This was just my experience mostly I won't visit again and didn't order anything just sat you do some personal work for an hour until computer battery died out. read more

What the heck! (Pardon my harsh language) Yesterday, I had to come to this location & I got a plain bagel & a grande caramel Frappuccino with whip and extra drizzle. When I got back I gave the bag to my mom and today she told me that the bagel was over toasted and hard so I told the girl at the counter and she simply smirked and asked so you want it lightly toasted? I was given the bagel without it being put inside a handle bag I was given my Frappuccino without being given a tray. In my Starbucks I would never be allowed to leave without my bagel in a bag with napkins and my drinks on a tray. Pretty standard starbucks. I haven't had a bad experience here but also haven't been wowed. Great location and walkable from plenty of restaurants and shopping. The movie theater is around the corner. There's metered parking in front which seems to be full often but there's also a parking structure across the street for Main Street in general. read more

This was the first time I really ordered stuff from Starbucks and sat down to enjoy it in the store. Maybe it was because they were offering free mini desserts with your drink, and I couldn't wait to eat the dessert. Anyway, I tried the red velvet whoopee pie, which was moist, but didn't really taste like red velvet. It was just okay. I also had the rocky road cake pop, which turned out to be my first cake pop ever, but it was just okay also. The "cake" inside didn't really have the texture of cake at all. It was very gooey, and not exactly in a good way. I'll give them props for the presentation though. The cake pops looked drool-worthy. As for our drinks, the bf pointed out that they didn't ask him if he wanted room for cream in his coffee order. They also didn't take my name during my order, so I stood there staring at this one drink for a while thinking maybe it was mine. It then crossed my mind that they didn't ask me if I wanted my caramel macchiato hot or iced. So now I'm even less sure whether this drink at the counter is mine. No one went for it though, so after a while I asked the staff what it was, and sure enough, it was a macchiato, so I took that as a good sign that it was mine. I was satisfied with my hot drink, but for paying the Starbucks premium, I expect better service. read more
