I came here to grab a quick cup of coffee. I hate Pike coffee so luckily they had the Anniversary blend, to my surprise they didn't fill up my cup. There was about an inch of unfilled space because they ran out of the Anniversary. One of the cardinal sins of people who sell any type of beverages is not filling up the cup to the top. I order a beer I don't expect to have a large amount of head, I want a full pint. Same thing with coffee unless I ask for cream and sugar I expect my cup to be full. She offered to top me off with Pike but what's the point of specifically ordering the Anniversary when you are going to sully it with Pike. Maybe she thinks all black coffee just tastes the same, so maybe she is new? But still I expect better service, I Should have been charged for a smaller size beverage or given my drink for free. read more

Came here looking for a spot to study. I think this location rearranged the seats to make it look less crowded inside. Not as many sitting though so if you do plan to study here you may have to fight for a seat. Service was fast and I had no problem with my order. Here I am, back at this Starbucks. 1) staff is friendly 2) drink and merchandise selection are always so limited at this store. They always run out of SOMETHING everytime I come (i.e. Lemonade, sweetener, etc.) 3) Getting Green Tea Lemonade again and this store always makes something imbalance compared to other Starbucks. wow...I was very disappointed this very thanksgiving day. I was excited to finally get my peppermint white mocha frapp fix after avoiding it for a week but my frapp didn't get its peppermint or its "white" either!!! it was too late when I noticed the original mocha color I'm pretty sure the cashier wrote the anagram of the drink correctly but sadly the barista probably couldn't decipher the sharpie text ='[ I am ten dollars short, my drink was untouchedish then dumped down the sink(didn't even taste like regular peppermint mocha)PEPPERMINT WAS ABSENT!!!, and I am still craving my beloved peppermint WHITE mocha frappucino. maybe I should only instill trust in the starbucks nearby/regularly visited because they have never failed me before. read more

My go to spot for sweet coffee, hot or cold. If you've been to a Starbucks, then this spot is not different. They carry all the usual fanfare and can prepare those customs you create. The coffee is pretty normal, as I prefer stronger coffee. So this is more a treat or dessert for me read more

Ok, some come for the coffee, i come for the change from the work at home wi-fi... but.. the just checked download speed is 1.08 Mbps, at home about 90 is average, 3G phone hotspot is 9+ but this starbucks for some reason has an incredibly slow connection speed.. Most of the staff here is very nice, but the shift supervisor just gave me a large dose of bad attitude for telling her the connection was so slow.. sneering "you told me that last time you were here" not we are working on it, only resent... i have visited, and purchased something about ten times since i first reported the same problem about ten days ago. No shift supervisor should fail to acknowledge a problem, or worse, show a regular customer a negative attitude for reporting it, or have the worst attitude in the store. It is a convenient location for me and there's a See's in the same mall. The servers are always friendly and this joint is bright and spacious. What I can't stand is the fact that there are always a million people sitting outside chain smoking. Somehow the smoke always gets through the door and it bothers me. Also, unlike other locations where people actually work, this one is filled with middle aged Asian men who talk... a lot... Not a bad idea to go grab coffee and then run. I don't feel comfortable staying there to read or write, however. read more

It's a starbucks...we've all paid for overpriced coffee! And we all know what we are getting into. This one is nice, no drive thru. I enjoy a tall white mocha with extra whipped cream and mocha drizzle plus an extra shot. I ask for it in a grande cup and I've never had a problem being overcharged or anything missing. One of the last times i picked up from this location, i was disappointed by the customer service i received. I arrived about ten minutes after i ordered a drink through the app, so i knew it was ready. I approached the pickup side, where mobile orders are picked up too and i saw the Batista chatting with a girl so i opted to wait. After they finished their back and forth, i said, "mobile order" and he quickly snapped back with, "NAME?!?" I was surprised by his tone and attitude, especially after i patently waited for him to stop flirting or whatever he was doing. But that wasn't all. Once i gave him my name, he placed my drink down on the counter but threw / doing the straw across the counter to me. Wow. I looked over the glass and I'm pretty sure my drink was the only one waiting there too. I was in a rush so i just took my drink and left to ponder what just happened as i drove to my next stop. Idk what's wrong with this location or the baristas working here. Most of the mobile pickup locations that I frequent don't hide the drinks behind the counter so we wouldn't need to bother them to get our drinks. I've almost never had a negative experience from a simple mobile order. And my drink was simple enough, i may have substituted the milk for soy but it's not like i had a bunch of customizations added. The attitude was uncalled for and i really think it was because i interrupted his flirting / chatting. Yelp keeps trying to tell me write a review for this place...probably because I check in here like EVERY WEEK. I don't usually like writing reviews for places like...Starbucks...because come on, you know what Starbucks is like. But I guess each one has its own style, flair, attitude...whatever. And this has been my regular Starbucks for three years now (since I moved to the area while studying for grad school). Few things to note: 1. It gets crowded. This is my go to place to study, but it gets crowded. I'm usually here EARLY if I can help it and I just claim my little corner and stay there. For the ENTIRE DAY. I swear I will sit there from 8am-8pm if I need to seriously get my study on. So...if you need to get your study on, come early and claim your spot. 2. You will see some WEIRD people. No joke. There is one old Asian man who I always wonder if he's homeless...he comes in every now and then and bugs the baristas and makes weird cackles. Not a fan of him. I sit in my corner and prays he doesn't ever come up to me. You also see a lot of teeny boppers. lalala. But they don't usually stay for too long so I don't mind. 3. The baristas are AWESOME. If you're a barista who works there and reads this, hi! you're awesome! =) [esp Candace, holla...and this one guy. crap, i forgot his name. haha] They're super friendly and nice, make good drinks with the right amount of foam in my lattes, and I love them =) 4. As many weird people as I've seen, I've also made a few friends, so don't be totally turned off by weird old Asian men. There are just as many cool people as well. (i.e. yours truly :]) 5. I have always found it weird to review chain stores, but I suppose the ultimate reason why people review these types of establishments is to compliment them on their customer service. And this place has killer customer service. This Starbucks is closest to my house but I usually go to the one on Atlantic and valley because of the drive thru. I was helped by Nic at the register. When I was deciding what to get he rolled his eyes and seemed very unhappy with taking my order. I had my younger sibling give her name for the order and he didn't want to acknowledge her. So I told him her name and he wrote it down all wrong. I work at a fast food place and customer satisfaction is priority. edit (3/26/11): I noticed there are quite a few reviews for this Starbucks location that are actually for other Starbucks locations in the area (both good and bad). You Yelpers need to get your facts straight... Just saying... I don't really like Starbucks, but this location is great. The only drinks that I really get are Frappuccinnos and Caramel Apple Ciders, and they make them well. The workers are very friendly and maintain the store well. Candace is one of the friendliest baristas that you'll encounter at any Starbucks. All of the workers are very friendly and helpful though. The only downside is that this location can get pretty crowded. It can be hard to find seats at certain times of the day. But if you're there to pick up a drink to go, their line moves quick. I would recommend this Starbucks location anytime. It's way better than the Starbucks on Atlantic and Floral. read more

This place is ok, its a Starbucks, to me they are all pretty similar. I go here when the time is right (eg, Not 3-7pm because there are NO seats). The staff is quite nice I think, I don't understand all the negative reviews?! My biggest complaint would be the crowdedness (if that is a word), but its not really their fault, and also the smokers outside who smoke ALL day and then sometimes the door is open and you get a good whiff of second hand smoke (gah..). This Starbucks is located in a large plaza. It is close to a GameStop. Parking can be difficult to find at certain times, but manageable. The service is good and the drinks are prepared relatively fast. Orders were accurate, drinks were tasty, service was pleasant... no complaints! Will be back for more! read more

I probably wouldn't recommend this for a studying starbucks during the day. While they do have ample space for studying, there's always a stead stream of foot traffic. For some odd reason, this starbucks has plenty of old Asian men reading newspapers. It's kind of cute, but definitely not something I'm used to. Beware of the parking in this lot during the weekend. I come here almost every morning, greeted when i get my chance to go up to the counter and order my drink. The staff is friendly every morning, come to think of it do they ever have bad days? haha. Parking is usually empty the morning i go around 7:30 so no complaints here but when you go in the afternoon its a different story. Great location too, you have smaller stores in the plaza and close to the major banks so doing your errands is a breeze. The best thing about this starbucks is the drinks are always consistent the day before, which i really enjoy because the drink never comes out bad.
