I am Spanish and I asked for a late café and the person who was working there asked me in if I wanted the caffe hot or ice but I did not understand because he says hotorice very fast and I told him that I could not understand. He only repeat around 10 time the same thing as fast as he could and some one from the line told me slowly, so I could understand. Finally I could ask for my coffee and he told me that now the next time I will know what I have to ask and how. Something amazing. I do not know why he is behind a desk face to the people, he is killing the Starbucks the brand I always try to go when I am in United States. Honestly best Starbucks I have ever been too. The staff is really friendly. The barista Louis is particularly on top of his game. If you feel the need to be heard he will listen to you, unlike other places other places. Highly recommend. Don't settle for less than the best! As a freshman( I'm using my brothers account as I don't have one myself), I've been going to this Starbucks multiple times a week throughout my years in middle and high school. and while this has been one of the greatest hangout spots near my school my experience today has ruined all of that. Upon arriving I was treated by their amazing staff quickly and sat down with my friends to hang out on the outdoor patio. at first, there was no problem, and I was enjoying having a drink with my friends, after this sequence my friend decided to go check if there was anything he would like to purchase, he went up with money in his hand to go by something when a pastry in a wrapper caught his attention he goes to pick it up and puts it in his pocket and goes to wait in line when he comes to the swift realization that he was saving up his money to buy a Nintendo Switch so he goes to walk back and nearly forget what he had in his pocket before leaving the store, but then he remembered and PUT THE PASTRY BACK and went sit with us, we had a good 3 minutes of talking when the manager Lauren walks up to our table to tell us how disruptive we where when she came up with undisputable claims that me and my friends where disruptive and where causing a commotion in the store when throughout the whole time we were outside, she then brings up that my black friend attempted to STEAL, and saying that he was being irasponsible and did not follow their rules, when I bring up their policy, that anyone can sit and she tells me she has full power over that rule and said he must leave so me and my friends get up to leave when she tells my and my other friends( who weren't black) that we can stay, we obviously didn't respond and walk away. So what I'm getting to is that this Starbucks is fantastic but their manager Lauren needs to be disciplined, she just lost a lot of customers with this. read more

I went there and there were a lot of customers who were a little snobby and I could tell a lot of the workers who were working when I went were just in training so they were trying their best to handle everything getting thrown at them. Ordered with the app, guy fulfilling orders wouldn't make eye contact so I could get his attention to hand me my order yet no problem screaming everyone's names at the top of his lungs. It hurt me to say that I won't be visiting this location any longer. Visually it's my favorite Starbucks in Beverly Hills. I work in the area and I have the option of attending two other Starbucks locations that are walking distance. This location always seems to get my order wrong. Can someone please tell me why my order, a dirty ice chai, has no ice and no shot of expresso. This location is always busy, but that makes for a lively feel! I am one of the regulars that work nearby picking up their morning order but you'll also find students from the local high school, patrons with laptops who set up shop and always a group of older gentlemen talking on the small patio. Validated parking is offered in the small lot off Little Santa Monica, but I would not recommend parking between 8 and 930am because it will be such a rush! The staff here are always bustling so even with a long line you won't be waiting too long. This location also does wine and food for later in the day. read more

The lines are long so I suggest placing your order on the app before heading there so you can slip the line. your order will be ready when you arrive. Staying at the Hotel across the street. This morning they opened late, then she proceeded to unwrap the newspaper and other chores before helping the first person at the counter. My turn came up and I asked for the blonde brew. She said she hasn't had time to brew so I had to get the dark roast. I also ordered a hot chocolate. She continued to help the rest of the customers in line before she fixed my hot chocolate. Both women had personalities of a wet noodle. Why can't you get to work on time, prepare the coffee, stock your shelves before opening. I almost had to ask for fresh coffee as mine was getting cold. There are plenty of people who would be happy to have a job and get to work on time. read more

I write this review after being a patron of this starbucks fairly frequently over the past 3 years. When I was younger I worked for a Starbucks and I remember that they wanted their customers to be greeted and helped as quickly as possible, I also remember a 5 min rule for drinks to be made. Someone please correct me if these have changed. I will say I am a fan of an inpersonal starbucks experience, however this location just has no sense of understanding how to properly care for the customers. I have stood at the register on multiple occasions waiting as long as 10 mins before I was even greeted by the cashier, once I even had the cashier right in front of me and for about 5 mins she looked around and tapped on the pos system and then finally looked at me and said "hi what cha want?" Meanwhile there are at least 5 other employees floating around and a line behind me. Another note for all locations, I love being able to have the app on my phone for easy trans actions however your cashiers should be scanning my code not asking me to scan it. I will not scan it anymore I will just walk away take my drink and be on my way. Hopefully a Starbucks executive will see this review and also notice the low average rating of this location and try to make changes. read more

I just had such a frustrating experience at this Starbucks. There were just two people in front of me with single drink orders and it literally took 20 minutes before I even placed an order. Then, of course, they screwed up the drink. I'm not sure who is supervising here but it's literally the blind leading the blind. They actually went over the validation time limit and I ended up having to pay for parking. Never again. I guess this is why the world is turning mobile. Interacting with those at the store is impossible. read more

This is the most amazing Starbucks I've came upon with my boyfriend. The staff here are very wonderful, it was Luis, Gail, & I'm not sure if it was Daniel ? They were so helpful and engaged very well. I can not have met more wonderful barista's/partners at Starbucks. They made the whole motto of Starbucks really shine out. Well it was my first time here... Busy saturday for starbucks! Question: Why did I get a plastic spoon for my bagel and cream cheese? Probably they were out? Oh one more thing which I was disappointed.... OMG the bathroom was dirty.... oh wow! I did have high expectations because of the neighborhood but I guess it does not matter which location or place where you live. But i have been to other starbucks their bathroom is always clean . I was a witness of how the manager try to charge a customer extra for hot soy. and I saw then cups come in just for that.

The cafe was opened, I went in and headed to the restroom before purchasing the coffee (I'm Starbucks a few times a day customer) cause I really needed. The staff person was in front of the door, looked at the clocks and said "we actually already closed" and didn't allow me to visit the restroom. This has been the worst experience I've ever had at a Starbucks!! First the cashier was not welcoming at all. My bf and I ordered a brownie and coffee cake and were never asked if we wanted them warm which we NEVER want them warm. When we get our deserts both were warmed up and asked the other bigger girl with glasses if she can please switch them cause we hate our breads warmed up. After that she made a few drinks then disappeared. Everyone that came in before us got their drinks expect us. It wasn't until I looked upset and stood up the cashier asked me if I was waiting for something I said yea my caramel brûlée frap & his sweet vanilla cold brew. They completely skipped our drinks. She finally made them and gave me an insincere apology. Once we get to our car, my bfs sweet vanilla cold brew was nothing but disgusting he threw it away. He was furious at this point. Worst experience overall. We were there at least 40 min only to get the wrong drink! Smh!! Corporate should really crack down on this staff considering its in the famous 90210. I recently went to this Starbucks and had a great experience. Quick service and fresh coffee. Minimal lines.

my friends and I were sitting in the outside area when one of them decided to get something to drink/eat, while he was deciding, I told him to come outside in a rushing manner because we were in the middle of a game (Super Smash Bros Ultimate) so he quickly put the item back and rushed out the door, a minute after this incident the manager confronted us and told us that we are permitted to leave. When we asked why we were being kicked out the manager replied with, "It was not customer behavior" and accused us of stealing even when my friend put the item back. We didn't even get a warning, and when my friend brought up Starbucks policy "Any person who enters our spaces, including patios, cafes, and restrooms, regardless of whether they make a purchase, is considered a customer," they disregarded this and still proceeded to kick us out even when nothing wrong took place. Just give us a warning next time, don't refuse people service because of one misunderstanding. read more

I like Starbucks coffee. The challenge is finding something there to eat with it. I've gotten tired of pastry all the time, so I was surprised to find that I REALLY LIKE one of their sandwiches. The Turkey Pesto Panini has turkey breast and a focaccia roll that are both easy to chew and a minimum of pesto that doesn't overwhelm the taste. Goes well with coffee. read more
