Had an encounter with the lead supervisor today, Alisha to be exact. Although, I have always ordered a grande drink and ask them to split it in two tall cups this location along with all other locations I've been to in California have always been kind enough to accommodate, since I have two kiddos; Alisha here refused to accommodate. In addition, I decided to buy two carton apple juices instead and was told they were out; however when I walked in to check low and behold they were in stock. I don't know what personal vendetta this Alisha had toward me, I have never met her; but I have a hunch perhaps she thought I was a Trump supporter cause I wore my American Flag shirt, regardless of who you think people voted for you should show the same customer service to all respectful customers. FYI I ended up going to a nearby Starbucks where they gladly accommodated to my request. Alisha Shame on you, you should me demoted. read more

Unfortunately bad experiences has been encountered at this location. I like it because of the drive thru but the drinks have been inconsistent on 2 occssions. Service is meh! I had to return a pastry once and the chipper drive thru attendant was not so chipper when I immediately returned the item becuase it was not what I asked for....my attitude was "no harm no foul" I'll just get refund but it was the end of the world to attendant.....will find another drive thru to go to! read more

Went through the drive-thru at this location and received the wrong drink. I came back a few days later with my receipt and the photo, because the line was so long I did not want to drive through again and wait another 30 minutes. I ordered 2 drinks a white hot chocolate and a vanilla bean frapuchino . They both tested like water. Especially the frap . We told the barista about and she just laughed saying that that wasn't possible she remake one of the drinks and it tested the same we didn't complain again because we figured it wasn't gonna make a difference. I really like this spot. It's surrounded by good parking spots and has easy access. Inside, there's plenty of seating and great for us laptop junkies. The service is good the employees always seem to keep this place clean and well merchandised. I always drop in when I'm in the area. read more

Today I decided to order my white chocolate mocha Along with another one and 2 other drinks. Not only did I threw my coffee away so did my friend. It was the worst coffee I've drank. Worst Starbucks experience so far!! I placed an online order for a few items, two from hot breakfast, my order gets picked up...I'm waiting in my office ready to enjoy my "at least" warm turkey bacon sandwich. NO, my sandwich is cold and still frozen in the center, I am not exaggerating ... I call Starbucks before I jump into Yelp and unload my negative review...spoke to a barista by the name of (Savanna), I told her that I placed an online order, she asked me what did I order , so I tell her, she asked me what's wrong with your order? I tell her my sandwich is cold and possibly still frozen, she tells me "we're very busy right now and sometimes the oven doesn't heat up very well, what else is wrong with your order"?????? while I'm on the phone with her she's greeting people, I asked her if she heard what I said? a normal human being would apologize, she then apologized and asked if I want to bring it back to heat my sandwich . I couldn't keep trying to have a conversation with someone who does not understand customer service and common courtesy. I just want to Thank Jamie at the Canoga Park location!! I was having a really rough morning, had a super weird time trying to order online because my phone with the Starbucks app on it wasn't working & wouldn't let me pay correctly.. Ugh.. She was just amazing for putting a smile on my face... The best Starbucks that I have been to. When I ask for extra caramel they really give me extra caramel and not a little like other stingy Starbucks in the valley. Friendly staff here. Peak hours are definitely 7:30am-9:00am and in the afternoon. There is a lot of parking here.. The drive through can sorta suck at times when it's packed. Every time I have been to this location I'm always treated rudely. They make my drink wrong. Close the window in my face when I'm speaking. I guess this is why I usually go to the one off Mason. I just bought a coffee today a few minutes ago with the worst service of my life. The girl was very sarcastic & rude. Kept running away when I was trying to ask one question about my drink while closing the window in my face! This was frustrating. I work in the service industry myself. This is not my regular Starbucks but since it's close to CrossFit Evolution my gym I stop here often for my coffee fix. For the most part this is a pretty nice Starbucks. It's still pretty new and clean. It's nice that there is a drive thru for coffee. Of all the times I have come here it has been pretty quick. There was only one time I had to wait for quite a while. I think it was only the fact the person in front of me made a huge order for a bunch of his coworkers. If you are in the area and need your coffee this is a good place to stop. read more

A few days ago I ordered a peppermint hot chocolate & I didn't get to taste it until I was half way to work. They accidentally made a peppermint mocha- which is a common mistake, but never really angers me. I usually suck it up and drink it anyway. But this time around, being pregnant, I am not supposed to having large amounts of caffeine. I didn't complain or anything, things happen. Today, I was on my way to work again and went for another shot at it-- at the end of my ordering I just asked if they could make sure there wasn't any espresso, informed them I was pregnant. This Starbucks location is on the way to my work and it is very convenient in the morning. Even though it has drive thru option, I prefer to park my car and go inside. The atmosphere inside is very positive and everyone is very friendly, even in the early morning! I usually go there at around 10:00 am and there is not many people in the line. Also, at that time you will always find a seat. The drinks and food are always what you order. Baristas do not mix up drinks. read more

It appears that a goodly amount of homeless/street people hang around here for a LONG while and they are mostly the same ones on the daily . One guy parks his broken down van right in front and has taken ownership of a particular spot inside for most of the week. He sets up his little office in the corner. Another group of friends takes over the all comfy chairs almost daily as well. The supposed "pastries" come out of bags. Cheap ingredients mostly all around. I do like the birthday pops and the rice krispy bars, lemon souffle yogurt and banana bread. That's what the two stars are for. Smelly homeless people walk by me after I pay over$6.00 for a cup of coffee. I don't meet my friends there anymore due to this being a destination for sadly, street people. I surmise that that they offer a safe haven here out of compassion and I guess, this is kind. There are some super cool little local coffee houses and delightful bakeries just down the street on Chatsworth Blvd. serving quality food, such as croissants, baked goods and wonderful breads and also breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are beautifully designed (en par with upscale ones in Santa Monica ) and have WiFi as well. That's where I surrender my coins now. Too many choices nearby so I don't settle for mediocrity anymore. On a good note: Most Starbucks allow you to fill up your Hydro with water. The have triple filtered water and support the philosophy of not using single use cups. Some of these other places have filtered water as well. read more

I like this Starbucks... It is very convenient to use their drive thru ta pick up a coffee on my way to work! My only comment will be a long line on most mornings... but hey! That's a Starbucks and people need their morning boost of caffeine. I actually go to that plaza to get a quick lunch sometimes and stop by that Starbucks again for another dose :) Everyone was always friendly with me and I haven't had any problems with my order so I'd say it's a good one...
