This is for the drive-thru window. Was in the Valley on a Friday mid-day recently to run several errands. Google Maps helped me find a near-by Starbucks. This location appears to be newer. Everything looked polished, fresh, and clean. Their ordering system is a cut above other locations. It's a bit Big Brother-ish, but the order taker even appears on a video screen to greet you. Don't be doing anything in the car that you don't want them to see, would be my recommendation. ;-) My new fav chili mocha frappucino was made perfectly. Refreshing on a very hot day. The little kick of spice seems to make the cooling effect even more pronounced. A happy contradiction! read more

I ordered a venti chai latte. A grande chai latte was made for me. I told the barista, Jonathan, that I ordered a venti. He said "I charged you for a grande, I can charge you for a venti and then make you one" he then went over to the cash register and charged me $.30 difference for the venti. I asked, "are you really going to charge me the $.30 difference when it was your mistake?" He said, "Yes" which I then responded "unbelievable" I've NEVER had a more obnoxious experience at a Starbucks. The company prides themselves and n customer service and if that had been any other location, they would've apologized for the mistake and made me another drink. This is one of the best Starbucks in SoCal! There are a few people I want to mention that catch my eye. Mike is a very knowledgeable Barista! I see him always tending to the customers in a fast, friendly, and prompt service! There are a few other Baristas at this location that really deserve a shoutout: Anastasia, Tyler, Cecil, John V, and Johnny well as Bryan! Not to mention Brittany! These baristas really know how to make drinks fast and effectively! The store manager, Rocio is terrific as well! She really has a great team onboard that make only the best drinks, coffees, and ice drinks around! This is one of the best l! Every time I come to the place, it seems severely understaffed at night. The waiting time to get my drink ranges from 7-10 mins. What's more disappointing is the amount of ice they put in their goddamn drinks. 5 sips later and my damn drink is empty. I was in line for the drive thru but decided walking in was a better option... it wasnt there was 4 people in front of me and it took about 10 mins to order... not bad right so im like okay great then i wait 20+ minutes sitting there waiting for my drink to be called and i dont hear anything i look to see if my drink is out. How about you guys stop randomly closing your store. Myself and a bunch of people that I work with have short 15min breaks and in the last few year this store just randomly closes for a few hours in the middle of the day and without warning to sometimes. This is incredibly inconsiderate to your customers and incredibly unprofessional. What's going on with management here. I am giving this Starbucks 4 stars because they have a named Bryan {Brian} who works there who makes your Starbucks experience an amazing one. I am a daily Starbucks drinker and I have not came a Across a barista better then him. I would have given this Starbucks 5 stars but the line is long a lot of the time as it is at any Starbucks but this place can take some time getting the line down. There also is another guy who works here who is super sweet and goes above and beyond as well... I will continue to go to this Starbucks because they get my Order right majority of the time and I'm a picky drinker. Ok. This Starbucks needs to get itself together! Not only did they make my drink wrong, they were a hot, hot mess during closing hours. I asked for a pump of sweetener in my tea. It was full sweetness when I received it. When I asked them to remake it, the girl at the counter looks at my cup and says "It says 1 pump on it." Oh...kay? Well, this is not the sweetness I'm used to therefore, it must've been a mistake behind the counter... and should be remade. Instead we stared at each other until I explained my medical condition and asked for it not to be made with any sweetener at all. Second, they seem to close earlier than expected. I came into the store and some chairs were already put up as if they were closing. The girl at the counter told me they closed at 9pm. Online, it states 10pm.... then, when 9pm came around and I was ready to start packing. Another girl told me they were closing in half an hour! 9:30pm? Huh?!? And finally, (this is just a lawsuit waiting to happen) they had chairs and stools up on the tables at 8pm. EVEN if they closed at 9pm, that is WAY too early to put up chairs. Especially, if there are a lot of customers still in your store. (There were at least 10 customers still in the store). Not only that, but the restrooms were mopped without the proper notice and I almost slipped in the bathroom. I repeat: this Starbucks needs to get itself together. I like this location because the baristas are always cheerful, ALWAYS spell my name right and they work fast, so even if there's a line you'll sure get your caffeine fix timely. I am a freelance digital artist and feel more productive when I leave the house. This starbucks has very comfortable seeting next to a power outlet and they have free wifi. I like it so much I almost use it as an office. The drinks are always prepared fast and accurately and the customer service is great. I accidentally ordered a hot macchiato instead of an iced one and they changed it for me for free! I would recomend this starbucks to anyone whether you are using the drive through or need a place to study. read more

I normally don't like leaving franchises reviews, but today's mess up among other previous errors have prompted me to write this. I've made a mobile order at this location everyday for almost 2 weeks straight now (ever since my coffee machine somehow stopped working). I love Starbucks and the convenience and have been to many locations. This location in particular has made mistakes with my order several times. The most glaring and infuriating ones are forgetting to put in requested (and paid for) additional espresso shots (I watched the order made start to finish and the barista never even went to the espresso machine); this happened twice. One time, the barista insisted that she had while hesitating when I initially asked. The second time, the barista acknowledged she had forgotten and immediately started preparing the espresso. Today's SNAFU though, is what really prompted this review. I made a mobile order at 1:32pm. I arrived at Starbucks at 1:39pm. There were a bunch of drinks on the mobile order pick-up stand and I found my drink had mistakenly been made iced. After waiting for the nearest barista to finish her current task, I grabbed her attention and let her know of the mistake. She took my drink to the back after letting me know they'd remake it. While waiting for my already paid for, remade drink, I saw 5 walk-in customers get their drinks before me, a couple mobile orders made before mine, and at least 3 drive-through customers get serviced before I got my properly made drink...15 MINUTES LATER. I literally could have just walked in and ordered and have gotten my drink more quickly than if I hadn't made a mobile order nearly 30 minutes before receiving my drink. A simple task that I expected to take less than 30 seconds ended up taking up much more time than that. read more

Is it called The Cold Buster or The Medicine Ball? Either way - I'm in LOVE! This little baby is supposed to guard you from colds, save you from colds, and generally make you feel better during flu season. They were out of honey at this location but cheerfully offered up agave instead. I had one yesterday too and I have to say - the honey is better. But, even with the agave, this is a delicious treat. It's filled with goodness: * Venti Cup w/ a bag of Jade Citrus Mint Tea and a bag of Peach Tranquility Tea * Add half hot water and half steamed lemonade * Add a little honey for its anti-microbial effects * Optional: Add a pump of peppermint And I definitely recommend the optional pump of peppermint! The Starbucker's at this location are always nice and helpful. I feel bad because sometimes their system goes down and they can only accept cash. Or, like today, they're out of an essential item. The convenience of this locations close proximity to work is canceled out by the fact that the drink will most likely be made wrong. I order a tall hot mocha latte with a pump of hazelnut in a grande cup for extra whip. This order seems to completely throw off the baristas at this location. I was a barista for 6 years. This is not a difficult request. The last 2 times I ordered this drink, I've had to request that it be remade. The other day I watched the barista just fill the cup up with milk, resulting in a diluted drink- no whip. When I told him I asked for a larger cup for extra whip he just dumped some of the drink out and added whip. Clearly didn't understand the drink was weak. When he made it today, it was weak again. I gave it to another female barista to remake and heard her say it was me who didn't order correctly. Mistakes happen, but it's CONSTANT at this location. There is clearly lack of communication between the person taking orders and the one making them. If you're coming here, allow for extra time to have your drink remade. read more
