My husband got a venti brown sugar strato frappuccino blended beverage (what a mouthful!), and he said he'd only give it 3 stars. Unfortunately, his favorite location just closed. Worst location I've been too. They give you the most horrible portions ever!! I've been here 3 times and each time I've received a cup full of ice with VERYYYY little coffee! I already knew from working at Starbucks that morning shifters are the most miserable creatures on the planet but holy cow.... I placed a mobile and sent my husband to pick it up. My order wasn't on the pickup desk so he politely asked the barista about it. She said, with the straightest face, she didn't make it because of the name. She said this time she would make my order but that next time, if my username wasn't changed, the order would be cancelled.... Me and my husband are just overall shocked that she would even care this much... I used to work at Starbucks and received the absolute worst treatment from customers, so I'm shocked as to how THIS was her breaking point. Get a grip lady, you work at the Charleston location. Why is it that every time I come here my drinks are SOMEHOW made incorrectly. There not even small mistakes, it's either my drink being SOMEBODY ELSE's or the drink being absolutely disgusting. I just ordered a tall iced oatmilk matcha. That's it. Barista told me they're out of oatmilk. They're always out of oatmilk. If you keep running out of oatmilk, order more??? I was an assistant manager for 5 years. It's not hard. Order more. Today was just the straw that broke the camels back. When I got to the window after ordering my drink, I got a horrid monstrosity handed to me. It was a murky dark green drink with chunks of white floating at the top. Cool. I've had my drinks messed up at this location hundreds of times in the past and I've let them all slide because I know how tough it is in there. But oh my god. This is just absurd!! Defeated, I took one sip and had to pull over to throw up. It honestly tasted like it was made with dirty ice. It tasted like someone had put in a bad, watery espresso shot. It was SO bad. I just drove to a different location to order the same thing (where they made it correctly btw). I'm not coming here anymore. It's worth the few extra mins to drive to another location. Came here yesterday and ordered a vanilla latte through the drive-thru, asking for a medium roast. The barista seemed confused and asked if I wanted cream in my latte?? When I got my drink, it was just coffee with cream--definitely not what I ordered--so they had to remake it. Today, I figured I'd try mobile ordering to avoid any issues and save time. I placed my order 10 minutes ahead, thinking it would be ready when I arrived. Instead, I was told they wait 15 minutes before making mobile orders. What's the point of ordering ahead if I still have to wait? Defeats the whole purpose. Not the best experience two days in a row. Hope they can improve their process. read more

I ordered a lavender matcha latte and a matcha latte with nondairy strawberry foam today 3/22/25 around 11:00ish through the mobile app. I'm pretty sure they forgot to add the strawberry to the foam because I did not taste any strawberry. I was hoping the more I mixed it and sipped I'd taste it but nope. I would've drove back and asked for a remake but I just accepted the L and kept it. I understand that this particular Starbucks isn't in the best part of town, but the employees should have some sense of compassion. A person was lying in front of this Starbucks yesterday at about 1000 hours. It was well over 100 degrees. That tells me they were in distress or needed help, or worse. Yet, no one working at this Starbucks store bothered to call for assistance. I know because I asked. This kind of thing may always occur, but no matter what you think, this is a human being. Unfortunately, the type of service at [this] Starbucks has declined over time. The people working behind the counter don't care whether your order is to your liking. For that matter, how they have you wait for them to take your order when there is no one in line? When I asked for a "stir" for my coffee, the girl behind the counter looked at me as if I had asked for a silver spoon. She told me to use a straw instead. The entire store is dirty, and the bathrooms are worse. I had written an excellent review of this establishment long ago. The employees have allowed it to go to their heads because it's now quite substandard. The manager or regional manager should examine the store's cleanliness, baristas, and practices and offer supplemental instructions on dealing with the public. I was on that side of town and looking for Starbucks to get my egg bites and treat my crew to a nice coffee and light breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised how big and clean this location was inside and their staff super friendly, except for one young woman that sat on one of the lounge chairs looking at her iPad all the time and not a friendly smile or welcome gesture. every time that I have come to this location, they mess things up. For one, they never write any messages on the cups like other locations do. I was the 3rd card in drive up, order one venti Frappuccino, got to the window and she told me my total was like $21 and change. I told her no, so I waited. They then gave me the wrong drink, and they had like at least 10 drinks on the counter for everyone that was behind me. I had to wait longer now for them to make my drink correctly. I posted a review yesterday and it's gone, why did they remove it, I talked about my Goddaughter going to this location every morning for coffee and spending her hard earned money here and the coffee sucks, it tastes like old coffee and dosent even taste like they add the shots of expresso we pay extra for, then they add all kinds of milk or creamer to try to hide the old bad taste of the coffee. Then if you say something, the servers get all rude. I must say that it is only in the morning that this happens. She has gone in the evening and the coffee is great. Morning shift needs retraining or maybe a new morning manager. I will be sending this to corporate also. read more

Hi I went to this Starbucks to use their bathroom and I loved it . Their customer service was great. I had but food but took pictures of their drinks because they looked so yummy! Really sad that ALL Starbucks as Corporate was promoting was giving out free cup of Coffee to there Veterans and there significant others for Veterans Day! Think it's a great Gesture as so many other places are given to our Veterans as our Veterans have selfishly served our country! Unfortunately at this location LUPiTA, the manager here had her bursitis doing her dirty work in telling the Veterans walking in for there free coffee that she was not honoring what Corporate, who pays there salaries given to Veterans on this Veterans Day. Unfortunately LUPiTA the manager would not even come speak with the customer regarding the issue . They walked out along with us and others Some of the customers were then offering to buy the Veteran a Coffee ! If you want to find the slowest Starbucks in the world... look no further. When we were waiting in line to order the girls who seemed like she was in charge was yelling out to everyone that the wait for a drink would be at least 20 min... the floor is also terribly dirty. The line outside in the drive-thru is long so yes I understand that they are busy... but these people are spending more time talking to each other than making drinks. I think they need help? I'm very disappointed writing this review because this Starbucks is the one I usually go to since it's so close to me. However, after months of going I have to say that it's definitely one of the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to-- meaning, you will way 20+ minutes for your order. The drive thru is somehow always closed and last night I tried to go 2 hours before closing time and the drive thru was not opened. Not a problem, we decided to go inside but they had a sign that due to the lack of staff, the lobby would remain closed yet there were employees inside. I was flabbergasted! Why would you have both the lobby and drive thru closed? I'm assuming they closed the lobby early for the night but still, that doesn't excuse that it was 2 hours before the actual closing time. I've also received wrong orders from here whenever I order Uber eats. Overall, not very good service. read more

The card reader at the drive through has been broken for a week. The customer service has gone down tremendously lately. The employees at the drive through have been so rude lately and unwilling to even just grab something simple from the front, like the kids pouch drinks. This place used to be incredible. I just got home from Starbucks not to long ago. I ordered a strawberry açaí and when I got it straight away I was like ugh what is this? When I looked up the guys at the window was gone and I stood there waiting but he did not come back. On the drive back home I tried drinking it but I seriously could not, it was so powdery and grainy so I decided to strain it when I got home but that did not even help. I'm just annoyed because I paid for this and tried to address the issue at the window but was not able to. This is not okay.. and I'm not one to complain honestly I don't I come to this Starbucks all the time since I live close by...
