Honestly, from the moment my friend and I walked in it felt like a "Relax and Enjoy Yourself" vibe in the air. Beautiful location! This place has the best Starbucks decor by far! The artwork is beyond impressive, I couldn't help but admire the beautiful masterpieces all around. So many positive vibes and quotes, I absolutely LOVE it. Literally my favorite location. It was the perfect scenario right before dropping my mother off at the airport. :) Thank you for that. Staff was welcoming and courteous. They seemed to care about me and my order. Parking is a bit of a hassle but I'm sure there's plenty of parking somewhere inside the parking structure. These guys brains are either on slo mo or bad leaves. The female barista had no idea what Matcha is and was completely head spun when I asked for a matcha latte. It took two other Barista's to confirm they could make one (one guy kept saying "what?") Then I asked if they had straight coconut milk or an almond/coconut blend. Again, the females eyes went blank. Second barista confirmed they have straight coconut milk. I placed my order and gave him a worried look, hoping he would be the one making my drink. He did, and it was perfect. On my way out, I started taking pictures of the store and the "what" barista wanted to know what I was doing. He was mildly confrontational, and paranoid. I told him I was taking pictures for Yelp and he said, "what?" Yelp! "WHAT!?" Lol, seriously? Yup...bad leaves. I had no comment. Lowered my shades and left. The overall encounter was too hilarious to get mad. Smh. Anyway, I'm not a big fan of this Starbucks, mainly because the lighting is bad. It's always Very dark. I find it difficult to be in here during the day. However, because it's so dark, it's kind of a nice chill spot at night. It's also very small inside, so I wouldn't recommend paying $3.00 to park banking on finding a place to sit in here. There is ample outdoor seating, however, it can get a bit cold and windy. On my quest to find the perfect Starbucks, I found myself at this location in LA. I wasn't sure what I was in the mood for but the bartista lead me in the direction of their Vizio handmade sodas. My selection for today was the fresh ginger soda. And an excellent selection it was they used real ginger it was spicy and sweet but not in a can of way. I noticed at the Starbucks has excellent reviews so that was very encouraging and they aren't that bad! They had excellent customer service skills even when the rush of people came in. I can walk to this Starbucks but I typically drive over on my way to work to pick up my mobile orders. This is my go to location since I have to across 2 streets for the one by my office (I know how ridiculous that sounds). This place can get busy in the mornings with all the offices across the street. I'm usually in and out. My mobile orders have always been ready. One or two times I've ordered the egg bites and they were out so I had to wait a bit for something else. They recently renovated and the exterior looks more modern, with more windows (I haven't been inside yet). Staff has always been friendly! There are usually people occupying the tables inside, and I don't think they validate parking (after a certain time? Not sure since I'm usually out of the parking lot in 5 minutes so it's free). read more

OK - so I've already written a review on this Starbucks! So, I'll keep this short and sweet. The baristas are super nice. It's always crowded. Very clean and relaxing location (depite the occasional guy on the phone talking at 110% volume in the lounge area). Have ya'll ever tried the SEA SALT CARAMEL MOCHA?!?! HOLLAH!!! It's like a regular mocha, but they squirt tons of caramel all over the top and sprinkle sea salt all over the top of the drink. WOW!!!!! I work across the street so I come to this Starbucks pretty often. Unfortunately, it's really gone down hill in quality of service. Some of the staff is very sweet and friendly, but other members of the staff consistently get orders wrong and give customer A LOT of attitude. For instance, I ordered a black tea lemonade and I received a black tea so I told Walter about the issue and he was nice, but the lady who took my order overheard me talking with him and she shouted "YOU GOT A BLACK TEA." I apologized and said I actually ordered a black tea lemonade and maybe there was some kind of mix up. I asked if it could be made to what I ordered and she rolled her eyes and turned her back to me. I said "thank you" and she completely ignored me. I get it, some customers are terrible to deal with, but I don't know how I could have been more helpful or friendly in getting something so small resolved. ADVICE TO MANAGEMENT: please train the employees who aren't friendly some customer service skills. Half of my office comes with me to get coffee here almost daily and we're happy to patronize another local business instead if employees don't value regular customers in the slightest. Very ADVICE TO CUSTOMERS: place your mobile orders someplace else if order accuracy is important to you. Located at the Howard Hughes Promenade, it's most convenient if you work or go to school nearby or are okay with paying $2. to park in the underground lot. The staff here is what makes this a five star Starbucks. Super friendly and accommodating. I love how they ask you while you are still in line if you'd like a breakfast item so that it's ready about when your drink is. I'm very impressed with the way they handle the floods of people that come in at once...with efficiency and a smile. I'm thrilled since this is one of the few places open for me to hang out in while my son attends pre preschool at Gymboree. They are also the only place in the Howard Hughes Center that validates parking. Win win. read more

This Starbucks is across the street from my job so I visit quite frequently. It was under renovation for some time, but they just recently reopened about two months ago. It is located in the Howard Hughes complex which is currently undergoing a massive renovation. It's definitely an eye sore at the moment, but the mock ups for the finished plans look amazing. Service was understandably slow the first few weeks since reopening, but they haven't gotten much better. The service is great and the employees are always friendly and personable. Parking is a bit of a hassle as it is in the nearby structure and is not free. Additionally, this Starbucks is a bit on the smaller side, so not the best option if you're looking for lots of space. Overall, this location is fine, but there are much better locations nearby. read more

Awful experience with a barista at the Bridge Starbucks. I ordered a coffee with "less than an inch of soy milk" and she charged me extra. I explained to her than under an inch of cold soy is considered a condiment and free. She said that 3 oz of soy is free (which ends up being around an inch) so I said ok give me what is free. She put a TINY splash in there. Obviously she was being difficult just to be difficult (I've been a barista at Starbucks, I know the attitude). Even for a Starbucks, this location seems to get it right. Because it is across the street from my office, it's hard not to stop in here on a regular basis. Most of my co-workers can't seem to start the day without a hit of Starbucks. The service is extremely affable and they never seem to mind all the odd combinations of drinks we throw at them. I visited Starbucks on November 14, 2015 at 9:16 am. While waiting in line I watched two employees prepare a bagel for an African-American woman. As one employee placed the bagel into the bag the other employee was holding, the bag and the beagle fell to the floor. The male employee quickly scooped the bag and its contents off the floor and handed it the the unsuspecting woman and told her to have a nice day. The Five-Second Rule does NOT apply to restaurants! Love this Starbucks. It's near my job so I am usually here multiple times a week. I usually mobile order which is a breeze. On occasion, their mobile ordering system will be down but not often enough to deduct a star. Service is quick and the employees are always friendly and smiling, which is nice to see. Only thing is it's always cold AS HELL in there. I don't know how their employees do it, especially considering how cold it's been in LA lately and in the morning time. This Starbucks has the worst service levels I've ever experienced at any starbucks; with 4 partners/baristas present, they are unable to work effectively to get orders out per starbucks standard service level time. Really?! Went again today before class and asked for the SAME thing that I get every time: 1/2 green, 1/2 black iced tea with light ice, no water. Issues?! HECK YES. 1 - there were people that ordered their complicated drinks AFTER me that were getting their drinks BEFORE me. boo! 2 - no one gave me an answer as to why #1 was happening 3 - the guy that ALWAYS messes up my drink messed up again. Light ice apparently means to fill the cup to the TOP with ice. He had the nerve to tell me that it was light ice. thanks Omar.
