Pretty nice Starbucks location. Located right next to the 63rd Street Q subway line station on 3rd Ave. Big and clean. Staff seemed OK. Got my iced drink pretty quick on a warm afternoon. Not that much seating set up but there are some tables and chairs set up along the left wall. read more

Biggest Starbucks I've seen on the Upper East Side. You have the 63rd Street Q & F Train Entrance on this corner of 3rd Avenue. I'm visiting a lot of Starbucks these days. I started a new collection called 'Coffee '. I need to fill it with my current bookmarks. I'll add to it. You can know my thoughts about the various locations. This location is great! I have to say I'm not using the restroom. I will have to let you know if it's locked etc. I'm happy with the comfortable space. Lots of seating to select. A great place to meet friends. I didn't charge my phone. I was turned off by the cleanliness of the electric plug. Other than that I was very comfortable. You know my Starbucks drill. I get what they call a tall. I'm a plain fresh brewed coffee drinker. I add my own poison! If you're in this neighborhood stop here and see if I'm right. This place is pretty clean in the morning. Obviously a Starbucks is a Starbucks. The drinks and menu is the same and designed to make us all coffee drinking robots. :) So the difference is usually the location, service, and inside. Location is always good when in Manhattan. Right 64th and 3rd. The place is clean overall, but a bit messy at the bar due to the large number of people here and in the city in general. Service is very good and the staff is very helpful and fast. They have plenty of seating areas. Benches and high tables. read more

I had the worst service I've had in a long time from this store. I asked the barista if I could have my Matcha remade with almond milk because I am Lactose Intolerant. When I received my drink, it was stark white with tiny flecks of matcha. I sipped and it was pure milk. When I went to the cashier for a refund, she interrupted our conversation and in a condescending tone asked, "You need more matcha sweetie". I then overheard her mock me and say, "This isn't matcha". Honestly, my go-to location is 66th and 3rd. I stopped by this location because I was extremely hot and needed something cool. I also work in service and I would not ever transfer that negative energy to someone else. It cost nothing to lead with kindness and treat others with respect. read more

I went to this Starbucks at 7:35 p.m. just to use the restroom and buy a snack (since restrooms are often reserved for paying customers). As soon as I walked in, an employee near the front said "that door was supposed to be locked, we're closed." Huh? The hours online - including here on their Yelp page - say 8. I told him I'd be super quick and I'm happy to buy some chips or something, but he told me I couldn't. A woman yelled from the back to repeat the same: "we're closed, ma'am!" As I was walking home, I called to ask what time they had closed (just to double check before writing this review) and I was told by a third person "well, on Sundays, it's like 7:30." "Like 7:30" leaves me confused. This isn't a mom and pop coffee shop. This is a chain with set hours that are posted online. If the hours are incorrect, update them. But if they're accurate, that means this location chose to deny service - after I was already inside - simply because they like to close early when it's slow. Here's my issue: we all remember the big PR campaign and the nonsense Starbucks conjured up a few years ago in response to multiple incidents which, at their core, reflected a pattern of poor customer service in their stores. Yet, here we are in 2023 and they're still doing this! They're so focused on keeping "vagrants" out that they fail to teach employees how to operate with nuance. I genuinely try not to make life hard for folks who are just trying to make a living, but denying a restroom to someone during posted business hours is pretty low. read more

While walking along 3rd ave on the upper east side made a quick rest break at Starbucks to grab a large cool ice mocha drink while enjoying free wifi . Good amount of seating but the high chairs are not that comfy so stick with the low to the ground seating is available. Typical bucks menu and the grub looks fresh and baristas turn over drink orders quickly. Overall a good Starbucks to grab a hot or cold bev and some eats and its hot outside so its strictly cold bevs for me. read more

I don't ever feel the need to review Franchise locations because let's face it- they are essentially almost all the same. I have been to this Starbucks countless times and have always had a good to great experience. What compelled me to write this review is my experience at around 7pm today- October 30th. I don't know their names- but I would like to sincerely commend the female that was working at the register, and the male who was making drinks. Both of these individuals were polite as ever and had to deal with an obnoxious woman who spoke to them as if they were her servants while demanding to have one drink split into multiple cups, among whatever other requests she added on. You paid for one drink... what on earth would make you think you deserve multiple full sized drinks? This entitled individual proceeded to openly say that she would file a complaint against these employees. I sincerely regret missing the end of this interaction while I went to the restroom because I should have told this poor excuse of an individual that all she deserved was a cup of spit. If you are the Fossil of a human being who did nothing but likely ruin the day of 2 people trying to do their jobs- I hope you read this and know how embarrassed I felt for you that you felt the need to berate the staff over your ridiculous requests. The customer is not always right, and certainly not in this case. You should be absolutely ashamed of yourself for how you treated the staff here. To the staff working tonight, I commend you for trying to reason with an absolute lunatic in a professional way when she really deserved to be told to pound sand. Very clean and beautiful space. I love how they set it up. This Starbucks is spacious and they have chairs to sit and huge window side were you can sit and chat with friends while sipping coffee. There wasn't any line maybe cuz I went during noon. The service was fast. Only one restroom. read more

Right off of the F/Q line which is convenient. I usually get off at 60th and 3rd on the NWR line so this particular location is super convenient for me since I always like to place my order in the app as I soon as I get off the train. The staff here is really good about making sure the get your order right. I've made a few customizations in the app and it's always made correctly, which isn't always the case at other Starbucks. read more

Horrible worse then the store by my neighbor, the manager is always rude! I asked for her name and It was never given to me. The answer was none ya! Very unpleasant! She always cuts everyone to use the bathroom! Just because it's your store doesn't mean you cut everyone that's been waiting. After waiting 15 minutes and watching customers after me get their order I went to the cashier and asked for a refund and told him that most Starbucks compensate for their mistake with a store credit and his response was "I'm refunding you". After coming here for a while, I start to miss Lex and 63rd. They're way faster and more professional. Lady at the register was nice today but charged me 60¢ for almond milk in my iced coffee. I am shocked at how horribly my friends and I were treated here today. My friend went to the bathroom and there were about 7 or 8 kids who pulled her out of the bathrooms and shoved her and yelled at her for no reason. We went to the employees and asked them if they could ask the kids to leave us alone and the employees did not intervene, just told the kids to stop, which they didn't, and went back to their business. We then left and the kids followed us out, continuing to shove us and yelling threats at us about hitting and attacking us. We got the feeling that one of the employees knew the kids and that is why she didn't actually intervene but that is no way to run a business. We were here around 4:35 pm on Feb 29, please talk to the employees who were working at this time because this is unacceptable. I will be letting everyone know. read more

Before it opened, I frequented the one right below it on 61st and it is far more efficient professional. I usually come here to study after class since there's a lot of tables and outlets. I usually don't have any problems when I order through the app or in person, except for today. Trust me, I don't want to start any problems or anything, but today I feel like I got the worst attitude from two workers. I order a grande caramel machiato with extra whip. I have ordered extra whip with hot drinks before and they were just fine. HOWEVER, when I went to pick up my drink after ordering from the app, it was half filled. HALF. I'm paying close to $6 for a half cup of coffee? No thank you. I understand it may have deflated the foam and the whip cream melted, but I don't think that leads to HALF a cup of coffee. So I told the workers and they gave me this look and they remade the drink. So I approached the counter again to pick it up and there wasn't a label on my cup so I asked if it was mine, the barista (the one who remade my drink) gave me a glare. Before this location opened up last summer I would frequent the one on 60th. I come in a few times a week and the staff here is always friendly and provide speedy service. I will never go back to the one on 60th after numerous horrible experiences in recent months. This Starbucks is one of the best I have been to, certainly the best in the area. The mornings can get a little busy but the employees manage to get everyone's coffee out super quick. Mathew and Julie are two standout staff members at this store, you can tell that they actually care about customers and keeping the customers happy and wanting to return. I'm not sure if me being a woman of color has anything to do with the service I received at this Starbucks this morning around 6:30AM, BUT I feel as though I was mistreated by the staff from start to finish. When I walked up to the register I waited about 2 minutes before I was acknowledged by cashier. Let me say this, I am a Starbucks LOVER. I would've loved to have a good relationship with this location, I walk by it everyday to and from work. Anyways, I placed my order, then headed over to the pick up area... Something else that I noticed about this location is that the ENTIRE staff moved at a non-urgent manner. I work on the Upper East Side, where everyone is always in a rush, so I was confused by that. After taking my order the young lady proceeded to make several drinks. I waited about 10 minutes before she realized that I was still waiting and has not received the Banana Nut Bread I ordered. I order Banana Nut Bread almost every time I visit a Starbucks, the cashier usual pops it in the oven while im ordering and it is ready by the time I am finished. Maybe this employee figured that I must have time to waste this morning. After my extensive wait at pick up, the cashier comes over and say "we're out of Banana Nut Bread". I went back to the register and asked for a refund where several employees passive aggressively asked, or for use of a better word INSISTED that I get something else. Eventually, I was refunded. I shared this experience with my coworkers when I arrived to work, and some of them expressed to me that they've felt the same way in the past when they've visited this Starbucks location.
