Stopped by Ben & Jerry's location inside Fashion Square Mall at Sherman Oaks on a Saturday noon as I was craving for some ice cream after lunch. Thank you to the young lady at the counter who helps us out with our purchase of 6 ice cream cups and cones. Two members of our family have peanut and tree nut allergies so the young lady made sure to wash the scooper used to scoop ice cream and made sure to get one from a freshly opened batch. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service especially for catering to families with food allergies. Our order consisted of 10 different flavors for 6 different individuals. Mine was the coffee ice cream. It's is truly one of Ben & Jerry's best flavors. You can taste the coffee, espresso and chocolate but it's not too rich nor too sweet. We love Ben & Jerry's ice cream and normally frequent other locations due to their excellent customer service and variety of flavors. read more

Had a craving for ice cream so of course we stopped by Ben n Jerrys! It's a small stand near the escalator. I decided to try the HoneyGrahamLatte. A first for me. You can really taste the honey and graham but not so much the latte. I can see it being a popular flavor but for me it was just too sweet for my preference. But I'm glad I tried it. The employee lady was highly rude. Lacks customer service skills. I will never return here again. I was in another store while my husband bought me the ice cream. I returned after taking a bite of the ice cream and I didn't like it. I had literally taken ONE bite. I asked to exchange it for something else. The lady refused and said I would have to buy another cup of ice cream. I had a FULL cup of ice cream and she did not allow me to get a different flavor. I left the ice cream right where it was. If you're a fan of ice cream, and looking for a ice cream fix then a trip to Ben & Jerry's at the Fashion Square is an absolute must. I recently visited Ben & Jerry's located on the ground level in the Fashion Square. The staff was friendly making the ordering process a breeze, we got to sample a few flavors before we ordered, which is always fun. I ordered the Chocolate Cookie Dough ice cream on a chocolate sprinkle cone, to share with my daughter, and it did not disappoint. The ice cream was rich and creamy, and the chunks of cookie dough were plentiful and delicious. The chocolate sprinkle cone added a nice crunch and extra chocolate flavor to each bite. We tried extra M&M sprinkles on our cone, kinda messy, they were too big and kept falling off the ice cream. We both agreed that the ice cream was delicious and we ended up eating the M&Ms as an extra treat. The price of my ice cream cone with extra M&M toppings was $9, which is a bit on the pricey side, but the quality of the ice cream and the memories was definitely worth it. Ben & Jerry's is clean, they share four small tables with another restaurant, seating can be a challenge, especially on the weekends. I recommend Ben and Jerry's, it aways a good treat. Kinda pricey, but if your looking for a delicious and satisfying ice cream experience. This Ben & Jerry's has been at this mall for many years. It's delicious ice cream but a bit overpriced. It's nice to treat yourself once in a while while shopping. Great spot to take a break. Came here while in town for the weekend. Could not pass up some Ben & Jerry's. Decided to try the cookie cookie, cookies and cream cup and chocolate cookie dough. All was good, exactly what we all needed. Staff was friendly. Price is fairly expensive, roughly $32 for the three of us. read more

Ben & Jerry's has always been one of my favorites! I think I have tried every flavor they have ever made, but my go-to flavor is mint chocolate chip... LOVE IT! So, I decided to order a small cup to go, brought it home and slowly enjoyed it. I have noticed that it's very different than the one you purchase at the store. My ice cream was FILLED with chocolate chips... which was great! However, the downside was that it seemed to over-take the ice cream and it was a little bit of a challenge to to navigate through the mine field of chips in order to get a little bit of ice cream only. Yes, it's great to have a chip in every bite, but it would also be nice to know you could have the cream all by itself if you choose. Not a disappointment but I think next time I'll try a different flavor that doesn't have the mine field of stuff so I can enjoy the actually ice cream! read more

Review 82 On any hot day in the valley, the first thing that comes to mind is iScream!! Ben & Jerry's has an interesting history that I won't go into detail but you can read it's wiki. In a small business it's all about making clients happy, Ben & Jerry's has kept me happy for over 15 years! ... now how do I get them to open up more locations. Plan B I only submit 5-Star reviews, if I post a review it's cause 'hat's off" I recommend the establishment and will return for another experience. I don't feel the need to submit a review with less than 5-Stars, regardless if I check in, submit a picture or tip. I suggest Yelp change it's reviews to a category scoring system, then is when I can be fair and review each place I visit. PM me if you like additional information. read more

Just saw Robin S's review and I was walking by the day she was interacting with the employees. Her attitude was disgusting and her treatment of these employees was awful. Here are some things she did not mention in her review. She was yelling, causing a scene, and the employee was being very kind and respectful. When I heard her tell the employee "you can't get a single thought into your brain", I jumped in and informed her she was being VERY rude. Robin then got in my face and was waving her hand around at me, telling me to stay out of it. I calmly told her that she could simply leave if she was unhappy. She continued to yell and then told me to "stay in the valley where you belong." (Not sure what she meant by that but seeing her talk in her review about how much money she is making off she sale of her townhouse, combined with her talking about all the money she has spent at the mall, I assume she was insinuating that I was poor). She turned back to the employees again and said something (which I missed), then turned to me, her hand once again in my face, and repeated "stay here in the valley where you belong" before stomping away. The employee looked VISIBLY shaken up and terrified. I worked in food service for 15+ years and I can easily tell when the customer is wrong, and this lady was WRONG. The employees were calm and respectful towards Robin, even with the abuse being hurled at them. I applaud them for that. Also Robin, you said "Normally I take photo of positive customer service on yelp." I just went through your reviews and seeing quite a few over the top, dramatic, negative reviews. Website says to call individual scoop shops to check availability of limited edition flavor "Marshmallow Moon." You can't buy it in stores, only at Ben & Jerry's directly. But this scoop shop just will not answer the phone!! Called multiple times and call just goes to generic voicemail that doesn't even say that it is Ben & Jerry's. Based on other reviews, this is not the first instance of lousy customer service. Someone from corporate needs to come in and do a total make-over starting with hiring employees who give a damn. read more

Very Rude employee! A friend and I were at the mall and the mall was closing at 6pm and we went to get a scoop of ice cream on the way out and right away she goes "sorry guys they will be out last customer" about the customers ahead but we still had a few minutes until 6pm. read more

Coming from a baskin robins and Haagen Dazs dominated place, I was so looking forward to this.. Also, in all chick flicks, u see heartbreaks ending up in a huge bucket of Ben n Jerries dive, so my expectations were ample! The caramel and hot fudge are not even hot, they're sticky and rate less... The ice cream is just, "average"... Nop, back to Haagen Dazs or baskin robins I go. The 2 employees were talking to each other the whole time, I had to interrupt them to say hello. Then, the employee doesn't ask if we'd like a cone then again I have to interrupt their conversation to say I wanted a waffle cone. When I brought it his attention he responded with a rude response and argued with me. I paid my final $7 for an ice cream cone. Great service from the dynamic duo behind the counter! The girl was personable and had great energy. The guy was extremely funny and made picking out my ice cream an enjoyable experience. They had a great selection of flavors (even some dairy free ones yay!) and the staff really knew their product well. I enjoy Ben & Jerry's ice cream very much! The location is a little hidden (that's probably why I didn't recognize it before). It gets busy on Sundays but the two ladies there made sure everyone was helped and kept the line moving. The workers keep it very professional. I I witnessed rude customers complain about the prices and about where the napkins were located even when it was right in front of them! Really people come on.
