Worst. Starbucks. Ever. I don't know what was going on, but there were four employees behind the counter and it seemed like only two were actually working. There was a line almost out the door and only one barista making drinks. There was also one cashier ringing people up. The other two employees? One would walk in and the disappear back into their back room storage; not sure what he was doing that was more important than helping guests or at least getting the lIne reduced. It took me almost 15 minutes to get my drinks, which were only a lemonade iced tea and an iced coffee. When my drinks were ready I asked a barrista what was going on, and he just apologized. No desire to work as a team and help their guests.Glad I don't live near here as I won't have to endure this unorganized Starbucks again. read more

Probably the one most unfriendly Starbucks I have ever been in... the girl at the counter was super rude and unfriendly... I understand it was busy today on President's today but no need for attitude! She got my drink wrong (not the soy milk I requested) and def no room in the coffee that tasted burned (hello burn spill on my hand!). The only plus side was that they got the drinks out fast. Probably one of the best starbucks I've been to in terms of layout and area! Plenty of parking since it's in the shopping plaza. The layout is why I'm giving this Starbucks four stars! Love the open wide space. Despite this location being so busy, it felt spacious to me still. I am a pretty big coffee buff, so I don't find myself at the chain coffee places very often. To be honest Starbucks doesn't brew the best coffee, but each location is consistent with the same menu and pretty much the same taste. It's coffee a coffee house where you know pretty much what to expect, and you're almost guaranteed to get the same at each and every location. The lines here are generally long, but can move fairly quickly as long everyone knows what they want. The staff seems to be relatively pleasant and welcoming. I don't live to far away from this location, so I find myself stopping here more often than not if I'm either out of coffee at home or running late. During my most recent visit I ordered a Venti Blonde and was told that they don't brew the Blonde after 12PM, but that if I had a few minutes she could do a pour over and make me cup. The coffee was definitely worth the wait with a very fresh and smooth flavor. read more

Parking sucks :) Yes, good luck finding parking as you and 100's of others are doing the same... it took me about 5 minutes or so to find one and far away from the store... oh and yeah, this was on Sunday. Plenty of seating inside and out... service was little slow when I was there even though there weren't that many people there. This starbucks is located in the Porter Ranch town Center. It is a small store so it can get very busy. I have to admit that the employees there are very slow. Once I had to wait for 15 mins for my drink. One thing that I want to mention is that I usually take my starbucks cup (the reusable $1 cup) to get my drink. One time that I stopped at this starbucks to do that, the cashier got my cup and weirdly looked underneath of it which I found very weird. I didn't ask what he meant by that but I didn't like it. My absolute favorite Starbucks in the Valley. It's the only place where I can get my work done. They recently renovated and now its more than twice the size than before! The big brown seats on the left are traps. They're the most comfiest chairs in the world and having a power outlet next to them makes it almost impossible to leave. I love the big family sized table and if you need a power outlet, it doesn't matter where you sit. There's a power strip that runs below across the entire table. Genius! The staff is so friendly and will always assist you without complaining. Oh and whoever writes on the chalkboard near the bathroom, you have the NICEST handwriting I have ever seen. I always overhear people talking about that. The staff constantly cleans making it one of the cleanest Starbucks around. Fast service. Clean environment. Comfortable seating. It's hard to find a spot that has everything all in one, but the only thing this location would add a major plus is it they had a drive thru. Especially when you're on the go or on the way to work. This location definitely adds to bringing in customers cause it's located in a plaza so if you have some other errands to attend to you, you would benefit by coming here. I've came to this Starbucks my last 2 times. I've had some difficult in the past few months with my drink- upside down venti iced Carmel macchiato. Sometimes people forget the shot or just somehow messed it up? Anywho I ordered my drink here and they made it PERFECT both times!!! I used to go to the one on Shirley and Plummer- Not Anymore! Every time I have came in here the service sucks there is a really long wait and they are usually out of anything that's good. Mhhmmm if you run out of food items everyday you would think they would order more right? Watch out for MOANA she's obviously a new higher since I've been coming to this Starbucks for 3 yrs. Never have had any issues here until MOANA showed up. I know all the staff and they know me on a first name basis. On 2 different occasions MOANA has harassed me in line and "hopes my family stays healthy over the holidays" which in the context of our conversation was a veiled threat. I just started going to this starbucks on a regular basis last week. Even during the busiest time (hello crowded) and before I have had my coffee (hello cranky) or even put on my make up (hello lazy) coming to this location is a pleasure. April 2018 Coming here since Fall 2017 So far the most spacious Starbucks I've been to locally. It gets that notion because the outdoor patio is more spacious. Customer service so far has been great. Came to this Starbucks on Easter Sunday afternoon. I ordered a purple drink and was so taken by surprise that it tasted very off. I have never had to return a drink and ask for a replacement in all the many times I've been to Starbucks . I understand that asking for another drink means more work for the barista so I apologized for having to make the request. I made my request and was then ignored by the girl at the register, I had to ask another barista for help after about five minutes later. He was obviously annoyed at my request and gave me a sarcastic "your welcome" when he gave me my drink another five minutes later. When you work in customer service you really need to avoid sarcasm, otherwise this line of work is not for you. read more

Stopped at Starbucks to get a quick coffee before going home last night, after a wonderful weekend, surfing down in San Diego. Firstly, there's nothing quick about Starbucks, just let me get that opinion out of the way. However the staff always seem to be real chipper, regardless the time of day. They're for the most part, always in a pleasant mood. Usually, the parking here at the Porter Ranch Town Center sucks, but since it was 8:15 on a Sunday night, I thought it would be tolerable, but of course I'm wrong, it still sucked. What really pisses me off, is when you see some young dude, that looks all of 18, park in the Handicap Parking, then get out of their car, and run into the store. Obviously, the only handicap they have, is their stupidity and disrespect. Sorry, just had to mention that! As I place my order for my a pumpkin spice latte, they of course ask you the proverbial question, "Name please?" This kinda doesn't seem necessary, when there's only four people in the store, and the other three, have already received their order and are seated, drinking their coffee. Honestly, is it going to be that difficult to remember who ordered the pumpkin spice latte? I highly doubt there's suddenly going to be 20 people rushing through the doors, all wanting to order pumpkin spice latte, immediately after I placed my order. I realise that Starbucks has this insatiable desire to know everyone's name that enters their establishment, but at times, I reckon they can probably let this policy slide, when there's only one person ordering coffee. What do you think Starbucks? Your employees might like it as well. So I get my pumpkin spice latte, after my name is called, and proceed back to my car. As I begin to drive home I start to drink the latte and it tastes terrible. There was very little pumpkin taste, totally watered down, and as far as any hint of spice, that was certainly lacking. It just tasted like really bitter, hot water. This is why I usually don't go to Starbucks, because the consistency of their product seems to change, based on the person who makes it. Maybe they didn't like my accent, but that's not going to change either. So on my way to work this morning I stopped at Jameson Brown Coffee Roasters and got my fav, the Mayan Mocha, absolute perfection. So in conclusion, I drink JBCR and piss Starbucks. After a long day working, we like to meet here and finish up reports in a chill atmosphere, with all the local feel of a community coffee house. There are no attitudes here, and everyone is nice to each other. Although parking is a challenge, everyone takes turns, and respects the time and parking spots to allow coffee drinkers an opportunity for their great Joe. There is usually plenty of table room inside, and outside is usually more than adequate as well. We've never been able to use the facility WiFi, so we bring our own MiFi, which works perfectly here. It's ironic that I just had my first check in here, when I worked here for almost 2 years. As an insider, I can tell you that no, no one spits in your drinks or defiles them otherwise. About this location: I love the inside. It's gigantic and kept very clean. There are always regulars on laptops or smoking outside. Outside, there are several places to smoke and they are not smoking Nazis about smoking less than 10 feet away from the door. Customer Service: Great. I was here the other day and the girl behind the counter was friendly and professional. I've been here other times and received equally as great service. Free WiFi makes this place worth it, even if it is filled with Middle Eastern douchebags who have nothing else to do around 8 pm. read more

I go to Starbucks at least 3 or 4 times a week and this store sucks. There were 2 people at the register and one person stocking the fridge. And a looooong line of people. Who trained these people? Then there was one person making the drinks. So there was alonger line of people waiting for drinks. Shouldn't there be a floater somewhere? Why is this lady stocking the fridge? Most drinks turn out good, but I once ordered a Java Chip Frap that didn't come out right. I haven't stayed here to get work done before, but it's always busy when I come here. I think it is worth noting that this place is different since it has been remodeled and is in a bigger space. Now, it reminds me of something out of a movie. Spacious with lots of room to meet with friends both indoors and outdoors. The staff is fantastic. I saw today on the counter that they are now offering these rapid charger rings. I didn't try it, but that's pretty neat if you want to stay and work for a while. I really love how open the whole place feels now.
