currently my favorite milk tea spot in philly!…read more molly tea is such a great milk tea chain and i was very happy that one opened in philly. i've been numerous times since opening, and have even doordashed from here when i didn't have the time to make it out to the shop. i absolutely love jasmine milk tea, so my go-to order is the premium jasmine milk tea. they share a space with nan xiang express so it's super convenient to grab a bite while there. the shop is small but efficient, and the quality is always consistent. their packaging is beautiful and high quality, the to-go orders are meticulously packed to maintain their temperature and prevent leaking. unfortunately, it looks like they just announced on their instagram that they are temporarily closed for renovations, but crossing my fingers that they will reopen soon! absolutely worth a visit if you are a fan of jasmine milk tea.

It's a gourmet hot cocoa shop, the cheapest hot cocoa drink is the original and it was $12 at the time. It is fun to watch how they do it! The glasses are placed on a lazy Susan which is covered in chocolate shavings. They add whipped cream to the glass then pour in the hot cocoa. This is a great start but next they start shaving a variety of chocolate on top. Milk, dark, white. I don't even know what they all were but it was definitely fun to each the drink become richer and more delicious with every scrape. As if that isn't enough, if you order a drink that comes with marshmallow, they toast it with a small flame thrower. They also sell a variety of chocolate covered pretzels, cannoli, and gelato.
