It was pretty much matcha frappe with strawberry puree and I added chocolate curls on top with strawberry foam. I reduced the amount of sweetness to the best of my abilities and it was really good! Sadly, the matcha flavor didn't stand out at all. I could only taste the strawberry and chocolate which was delicious together but it didn't have any matcha flavor at all. This Starbucks is behind the fountain in Bethany Village. The staff is wonderful. I ordered a coffee at the counter, instead of in the app, because I wanted a ceramic mug to dine in. Can't do it in the app yet, only to-go paper cups. The barista gladly created my Verona with 2 stevia in the raw, whipped cream, sprinkled cinnamon on top, and served it in a heavy white mug. This store is spacious with a high ceiling and plenty of seating. I like the Edison light fixtures and big glass paned windows. Good WiFi too. I stop in often. read more

After waiting a while, asked the barista about the second drink and was told it was in queue and would be out when it's ready. Pressed the issue as a I already got my first drink and several other patrons behind me got their orders. Was once again told it was at the cold bar and tickets come out in a queue. Asked the barista if he can make my drink since I already got my first order. Was told my drink would be out when it's ready. both Baristas told me I was causing a scene and threatened to call police. Told I would get a refund at this point, argued that all while going through the refund process, they could have been making the drink. Mind you I had my 4 year old with me. read more

I used to live nearby and walked to this Starbucks nearly every day. I have moved twice since and still travel across town to come here. Most of the staff and manager know me by name and we chat often. Their service is excellent and their energy is wonderful. Combined with an excellent location overlooking a small outdoor amphitheater space that has a huge fountain that kids can play in during the warmer months this is my no. 1 coffee shop! read more

This store is closed today. However, the Starbucks app as well as yelp show they are open 6-4 so I placed and paid for my drink this morning only to show up to a locked and closed store. if I could give this zero stars i would I'm highly disappointed. The workers acted like I was dumb when I ordered something off their menu that they didn't know about that. I've ordered multiple times at different locations and their same location and it took forever for my drinks to come out only one worker was nice. The ginger one was awful. read more

This Starbucks is located in the Bethany Village QFC shopping center. There is plenty of seating inside and it has a very pleasant outdoor patio that overlooks the center's water fountain. This is a very relaxing place to enjoy your Starbucks beverage with a few exceptions.The outdoor patio can get quite loud with children playing in the fountain. All the neighborhood dog owners seem to walk their doggos here and hang out. When school is in session all the neighborhood children seem to congregate here after class. I've never had an issue with any of the baristas here nor have I witnessed anyone receiving poor service. My drink has always been made correctly and in a fair amount of time depending on how busy they are at the moment. This Starbucks can be a very enjoyable place to visit. read more

Starbucks: have you heard of the earth? Please offer your patrons durable cups and glasses for their beverages! When I was there last weekend, 20+ souls were ensconced there indefinitely, drinking coffee from to-go cups - which are landfill. There are 3 categories for trash in the café: compost, recycling, landfill. That sounds nice but 99% of what you give people is landfill. I love that you are unionizing - workers of the world unite! Please cut down on all this landfill & use the dishwasher so the workers & their children can continue to live on this planet. read more

Great selection and lots of seating. I really like this place for meeting up with friends, especially if it's sunny and nice out because you can sit outside near the fountain. I don't study here often because it tends to get a bit loud. Lots of family and dogs around and the menu selection is extremely varied at this location. I believe they do wine and beer tastings now and have cheese plates as well. It's a very nice Starbucks with a cushy interior and welcoming exterior. This is all about the coffee. I love coffee and occupies my everyday. However, I'd like to point out how this Starbucks needs work. I make an effort not to stop by anymore solely because the coffee and drinks are so inconsistent. Hence, why I'm writing this review. As a customer is exhausting to more times than not have to ask to have your drink fixed. Many times it's weak and watery, other times really bitter, and then other times like an infused cup of sugar. Sometimes, you'll ask for extra flavored creamer and end up with extra vanilla liquid sugar- not the same. Or you ask for light ice and you get a whole cup of ice. I sit there and watch how the baristas sometimes do not pump a full pump or don't pour the full shot or have to go back to add with more ice or milk to fill the drink. It's mostly because they don't finish each step completely resulting in weak or inconsistent drinks. So, please stop doing this. It really sucks when we look forward to a drink just to be continuously disappointed. Most of the time the same drink will never be the same twice. It's just hard to know whether you be able to enjoy your cuco of coffee. Starbucks, please provide continuing education to your baristas. Either they start to forget the recipes or getting complacent. Which ever it is, it sucks for the customer. Well, hopefully you'll take these notes and improve. Came here to do some work but found myself surrounded by kids and their families, college kids, and other people adulting. Haaaa... To my surprise, this Starbucks serve a nitro cold brew and from the quick review on Google, I was surprised at how creamy it was in my mouth as well as the caffine rush from drinking it. It was magic. Unfortunately, the nitro cold brew loses its magic as time goes by due to the nitrogen evaporating out of the cold brew. The best part, being the crema, is gone after the first couple of sips, leading the drinker to a come down from it's mouth feel rollercoaster high, annnnnnnnnd on an uplifting of spirit as you board the caffine elevator off to Lala Land. My heart is pounding from the caffine as I write this review. Future advice: get smaller cup size and drink fast. Maybe. read more

Just updating my experience for my last three visits to this starbucks location The customer service has improved a lot since I last wrote my original review. The staff here makes a fine cup of coffee and provides a very welcoming positive atmosphere in all situations (when slow or busy). They have added a lot of new talented baristas at this location. This is the worst Starbucks in the state of Oregon. I stopped going here because every single time my drink is made wrong. I'd order a drink with oat milk and it'd have regular milk in it. For paying extra for a certain milk it's a major disappointment when you are given the wrong ones. The coffee was burnt every time. No matter how much ice you ask for they fill the entire cup. There is always more ice than drink even when you order "light ice". The chai is always super watery. It'll be 115 degrees outside and you order an iced drink and they make it hot. Like who is going to order a hot drink during a heat wave I can leave it outside for fifteen minutes if I wanted it hot. Any customizations are going to be wrong or not there. Ask for caramel syrup they'll make it with caramel drizzle. I've never had a drink made right here. You're much better off to go next-door to the Starbucks in QFC to order. All this quality for an uncharge on the drink. It's more expensive than any other Starbucks in the Portland Metro Area. read more

Relaxed but driven, they work together to optimize the customer experience. They know my name, know my favorite drink, and sometimes even manage to serve it at the time of payment. Extremely racist cafe, I can see why Starbucks has been sued in the past for racism. I dont usually go here so I didn't put much stock in it before but I can see their institutionalized racism shine through. There were two people in front of me in line, both white ladies, there was one cashier and one person making the coffee. The cashier spent a ton of time with both ladies, cordially and patiently explaining the different drinks and having non coffee related small talk as well with lots of laughter. It's my turn so I come up to the register and immediately the cashier walks away from the front and goes to the back without any explanation. Somebody else was making the coffee. She comes back a few minutes later, zero smiles, not even a speck of the previously cordial and welcoming personality that she showed the white customers. She saw my skin color and decided she didn't want to have that type of rapport. Fortunately I knew my order already and didn't need any small talk or menu explanations. Was pretty busy while I was there and some of the staff were goofing around instead of helping make drinks for the long line of people waiting. This one is a few minutes walk away from my work but I would get in my car and drive to the Starbucks at West Union to grab my coffee. This is most likely purely my own pet peeve but the staff isn't social, I like cheerful people that seem happy to help you get a good cup of java. They're "polite" enough to say hello and take your order but it feels more like a quick in and out kinda place for people that don't wish anyone to speak to them before they inserted their coffee into their system, if you know what I mean. For the coffee; it doesn't have a good coffee taste at all. It's like it's a watered down version to what I get at my local Starbucks. It's just a very impersonal experience that doesn't make me want to go back there unless I have no other option for my coffee fix. read more

This Starbucks clientele are the people of Bethany and the athletic clinic nearby. Upper middle class written all over it. I've heard conversations about baby support groups and bike rides. It is located in near boutique shops, upscale restaurants and bistros, a grocery store. The store itself occupies both sides of a strip in the complex. There are two entries / exits across from each other on either side of the strip. It seems that there may not be enough storage, or too much product, as they had to put boxes of Guatemala beans just outside the bathroom, which are not policed too. Anyone can walk in and pretend to go to the bathroom and walk off with a pound of the beans. Since this is Bethany, i doubt this will happen though. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a couple of lounge chairs. At least it has free wifi :) read more
