I like this location because it has a drive-through. When you go indoors, it's nice inside. The food and drinks here are okay. I like that there's parking and you can go in. For the most part it's not as crowded inside. They do offer indoor and outdoor seating. There's usually two registers open in addition to the drive-through, so that is nice. They seem to be well stocked with merchandise and you get your order in a reasonable amount of time. read more

The barista asked if I was making any purchase today. I know the bathroom is supposedly for paying customers only but have some human sympathy. I'm not sure who the worker is at this location but she's trying to lie and say you have to buy something in order to get a cup of water. No other employee nor location does this but her. It's 7:53 pm and they close at 8pm . You would think it wouldn't be a hassle at all to get a cup of water but I guess she didn't wanna give out free water. Such a shame because I come here every single day since I moved next door here. :( read more

Nice newer store where everything is clean and neat. The service in store and drive thru has been great the three times I have come here over the last two years. Parking is good in this location that is by itself near a Sourdough & Co sandwich store. The drive-thru is busy but moves in a timely manner. Just off Folsom Blvd, getting in/out of the the parking lot is straight forward. There is seating inside and outside that isn't right next to the street which keeps it a little quieter for hanging out. There is good covering for outdoor seating that is great in on the hot days. Can't wait for covid restrictions to lift and the warmer weather to arrive. read more

If you're traveling West on Folsom Blvd then you have one last right turn. There's plenty of parking here. I've always going a spot. It's shared by one other business. Sourdough and co. DECOR: Typical Starbucks decor. A bit Moody, a bit modern and a bit mysterious, but cozy. PRICE: $3.95 for a DRINKS: Grande Honey Citrus Mint Tea is my all time favorite drink! If I'm feeling something a bit more warming and cozy then I go for the hot Carmel Macchiato FOOD: I usually get the bacon, egg and cheese or the ham, egg and cheese breakfast croissants, but I can't do cheese anymore so I'm super sad about it. STAFF: Always super helpful and kind. Haven't had any complaints about anyone here. EXPERIENCE: I really like this location because it is close to my apartment. We don't have a lot of places nearby so it's really nice. It's not a busy location as far as traffic since it's kind of desolate. Works for me just fine. My only problem is that they close too early. They close about 8 p.m.. They are 3 mins from Sac State and my apartment complex is full of Sac State students and they want to close at Grandma's bed time? Ugh! read more

Pretty new, but smaller Starbucks, but centrally located right at the corner of Power Inn and Folsom, close to the traffic court. The cleanliness needs work in the bathrooms, but the dining area was ok. There is plenty of parking, but no shade whatsoever so on a hot day your car will fry after awhile. Overall, it's a nice SB for working in. This is a refreshing place for a cool caffeinated drink and a place to meet up or rest for awhile. The food is just the typical packaged stuff, nothing is made fresh of course, you can request for the sandwich to be heated. It is right next to a sandwich shop if you need a real lunch. Staff seems nice enough. The hours are long so it's bound to be open when you need a coffee, so that part is nice. read more

Service was good but today I got my usual Venti pink drink with soy milk that I always get (at different locations) and it had an odd taste. Tasted almost fizzy and made my tongue feel weird after taking a few sips. Almost as if it was spicy and even now my tongue is tingling with a weird sensation. I also found weird little chunks of white substances that I have never seen in my drink before. Sadly I didn't see this until I made my way home and was too far of a drive and inconvenience to go back. Not sure what's going on with this drink but absolutely terrible. After such a wonderful first time experience I am sooooo sad to have to follow up with a 1 star review. The one star is solely based on the taste of the coffee and the fact that the line wasn't busy. The lack is if stars is a result of terrible customer service. Now, I'm not saying that you have to be overly excited or genuinely care how my day is going, BUT at least don't give me the impression that you hate everything in the world. The person who took our order was very monotone and sounded bored. When we got to the window it took a bit before we were even greeted. When the window person handed us our first drink, there was a large crack in the cup and the coffee spilled into my car. We handed it back and asked for it to be transferred into another cup. Instead they just stuck it in another cup. We weren't far from our office we decided not to hand it back a second time and just transferred cups once we got back to the office. Literally had to make an account just to rate this Starbucks a 1 star. We ordered 2 drinks and one had black plastic which looked like bits from a straw. The other drink with a giant piece of hard plastic or rubber, looks like pieces from the blender I'm assuming. This is the worst Starbucks experience I've had and will not be trying this place again. Go to this Starbucks frequently, not happy today. I did not spend 4.00 on a drink that has more ice then SIPS. I took three sips off this drink and that was it. Who pays this much for ice? The shift manager was so rude i purchased a cup and realized it was cracked i spoke with one of the store employees and she advised me to come to the store when the manager is available. So when i came into the store to explain the situation the shift manager was rude and did not even attempt to assist she stated with no receipt she could not help me i told her the SKU was on the bottom of the card then i asked for her manager or corporate she rudely said her manager went on vacation for two weeks today. She advised me google had the corporate number wrote it down on paper and basically said she couldnt help me. Then addressed the door when it dinged. As a starbucks customer i felt so offended that she made it seem like i stole the cup or like my service was no good. Because im a mixed female and she was hispanic with alot of attitude. I spoke with corporate they refunded me via gift card on my app in which i truly appreciate. So i wanted the store to also know this was unprofessional behavior especially in regards to a paying customer. I have the app lol so i obviously come to starbucks often. This Starbucks ROCKS! I'm a Nitro Cold Brew nut, and this was the first Starbucks in my neighborhood that offered it. Lucky for me it's also on the way from my house to the freeway, so they help me start off my work day several days a week with a nice jolt of caffeine and some tasty morning vittles. But it's not just the location or offerings that this location should be commended for. It's the STAFF! They are wonderful. I use mobile order 99% of the time, and my drink and food are always waiting for me with a friendly "Good Morning, Sean!" This staff was great even through all the hardships of the pandemic. It's not easy spending all day on your feet, in a mask, behind plexiglass dealing with grumpy morning coffee addicts, but this staff is always super friendly and warm. Just went there to redeem my birthday stars towards a food item. When asked to pay for the order, they didn't include my rewards and i let the barista know. She said in moody voice "It did" and found it i had to pay the full price when i had a birthday reward. not only that, they made us the wrong drink. I was perfectly fine with the wait as I know this is a busy location and it takes some time to make a large batch of coffee; however, they continued to tell me it will probably be longer than that because they simply didn't want to take my order. Ordered an ice coffee with light half and half. Received it with over half of it made with cream. I Paid to have it remade, emphasized very light half and half, makes it again adds sugar (did not ask for). At that point I didn't even want to bother asking them to re-make it. Great starbucks, staff is amazing except for one...and let me tell you more: her name is Francesca, she has served me twice this week at 6am. I understand you dont want to be there at the crack of dawn BUT change that attitude and admit you are wrong when taking down orders incorrectly.
