I love this cafe so much! It's definitely one of my favorite Starbucks in this general area. It's pretty chill, the employees are really sweet. Some of them recognize me and smile and say hi, even when I have not been here in a while. It has a large outdoor seating area with umbrellas, well kept property, very little litter, nice landscaping, safe. Plenty of free parking. Multiple ingress/egress points. Solid coffee, service with a smile. I always loved getting my cup art when they had time to doodle on my cups. It was super fun. read more

This is my spot post ymca workout and I appreciate how friendly the workers are here. They always get my drink right and are quick with the order. Lots of people do mobile order now so I get the in and out rush but the place has plenty of chairs and tables both inside and outside. The only downside is the parking which is not great. And of course it's a Starbucks so you get that green, white, and tan vibe. Overall 3.5 stars and I rounded up because im here so often. read more

My Order: "hot Decaf UPSIDE-DOWN caramel Macchiato with whole milk" No wait time on order means no busy queue of drinks. I was standing 3ft watching one of the female baristas (the taller one with brown hair) make it. What did she make, a regular macchiato. BARISTA: reads the sticker label attached to my cup and proceeds to make a regular caramel macchiato. Dumps vanilla, steamed milk, espresso and then a blob of caramel on top - uh homegirl that's a standard way. SHE WRONG. It's supposed to be caramel at the bottom, espresso, milk, and then vanilla. I knew she made it wrong. When i got my cup I read the label sticker and it clearly states my order word for word. SMH. This Starbucks is always Busy when i go and they always manage to have my order ready when i get there. Their service is always great! The food is always made how its suppose to my drink taste normal. No matter how busy they are they are able to work under-pressure. The only thing that kinda sucks would be parking there's no drive thru so you do have to get off and cars never know how to drive or park. And everyone is always on a hurry. So nothing against Starbucks or employees they are GREAT. Just make sure you go with time cause parking can be chaotic in the morning. There's a lot of medical field people and police officers getting their coffees. So it does get busy so order ahead. read more

Yesterday, when my daughter and I ordered our drinks, we used our gift cards to pay for them. The cashier never closed out my daughter's payment, so both her gift card and mine were used to pay for my drink (we had separate orders). Because of the cashier's mistake, the balance on my daughter's card is now zero, so I gave her my gift card and the remaining balance in cash. FYI. When you order and pay for your items with a gift card and/or a credit card make sure that the sale is completed and ask for your receipt to verify it. That way you are not paying for the next person in line, unless you want to. To the Manager train your cashiers better, so this doesn't happen again to anyone else. I was honestly teetering between three and four stars here.. three stars because of no drive-thru and it's just always packed and seems like you're going to have a long way for your coffee.. but SURPRISE! FOUR STAR STARBUCKS here because of how friendly and efficient the staff s always seems to be. Coming here at 8:30 on a Wednesday morning, there was a stack of about 20 drinks waiting to be picked up, and immediately I thought I was going to be here for half an hour waiting for my iced coffee. Nope. Took my order and I had it within 3 minutes. Kudos to the staff for getting my order right as well amongst the busy coffee space. I ordered a drink the barista did not secure the lid and part of my drink splashed the counter which she was too busy to clean seriously she was incredibly busy so I cleaned it with several napkins which I left on the bar near her workstation, "OH the garbage is over there" really you can't pick up the napkins and throw them in the garbage right next to you? As I walked my doggy napkins to the garbage and saying sure I'll throw away what I cleaned up your mess with! I looked back to see her mocking me... Well, apparently the entire city of San Diego had the same idea that I did and invaded this particular Starbucks today. Seriously, as I pick up my drink there is a constant and steady pace both before and after my order. There is plenty of space for everyone but I'm shocked on how busy this place can get. Is this normal? You can tell this Starbucks was really put together to accommodate the surrounding businesses and they have power outlets directly under all the booth seating. Other than that, it's a Starbucks. Same product, same prices, same level of customer service but the volume of customers that they are serving is mind-blowing! Seriously, "can I get a fat free, sugar free, extra hot, triple shot organic soy latte and please go really light on the foam, bro?" You baristas are saints, I tell ya! Honestly, every time I come in (and I come in A LOT) the staff at this location are always so happy, friendly, and helpful. They always write cute little pick me ups on your orders too! I don't know why bit this location mobile order always is THE slowest. I ordered @1013a via mobile & came in at 1015a. I knew it would be ready by 1028a & I expected to wait. However, it's now 1038a & a Flux of people came in ordered picked up mobile orders & got there items & left. I'm still waiting......after I was told they were fixing it. This is my go-to Starbucks before work. I prefer local coffee shops, but a lot of those shops open later so I'm glad Starbucks is available. I often order via mobile. My favorite drink lately is the iced lavender oat milk latte with only 1 scoop of lavender. For food, I enjoy the egg bites and the bacon gouda breakfast sandwich. This is the Starbucks I usually go to and the people here are incredibly nice. They always write a cute smiley or thank you on my cup or bag & it constantly makes my day. The truth is, with any chain store - the quality isn't always there and you can't expect different people to make a drink the exact way you want it. Some days there's going to be a bit more matcha in my green tea latte than others and I absolutely don't mind that. As mentioned, my favorite Starbucks drink is the green tea latte - but is occasionally switched up with a white chocolate mocha (I'm a woman of routine) Absolutely loving the way these people handle such a large quantity of customers - and grateful that this starbucks is literally right next to our home. I like this location so much, especially because it's very close to my work. Staff usually very friendly, and caring. I like to order ahead via app, never had a problem waiting on my drink until recently. I ordered a coffee at 3:50 pm. Came to pick it up at 4 pm and my coffee wasn't ready. Well, I was not in a hurry and don't like to be bitchy, but they asked me a couple of times what coffee did I ordered. I saw 3 girls trying to make my coffee, I already knew it will be a trouble. I had to wait over 20 min to get my coffee, I've seen people came in after me to make an order, getting their coffees waaaaaaay faster than me...... What a disappointment! Now I faced a new problem: cannot get my second cup of coffee after 4 pm. I've noticed they getting closed very early in the day and no signs at the doors. Very strange. I enjoyed a pretty good vanilla iced coffee and an okay, but could of been better pumpkin scone from this Starbucks. You know, that pumpkin scone could of been so much better if it just had the right texture. Its texture was more like a moist cake, rather than a scone that has that perfect denseness to softness ratio. Its flavor was good, but I felt like I was eating a slice of cake. They did well with the iced coffee. I like that the vanilla flavor was subtle and not overwhelming with sweetness. The coffee was good and gave me the kick I needed. Particularly chaotic location especially between 630-9am. Extremely poorly disappointing made drink. I ordered a venti blonde espresso latte and what I got was a tall Luke warm latte. My cup was 3/4(if that) full, not blonde espresso nor had any cinnamon dolce sprinkles. It didn't taste right either. I'm upset!!! I understand that this a busy location, however don't cut corners on my $6.25 drink. Parking is dreadful. Good luck with finding a spot. read more

This has been my go to Starbucks before starting my day. I usually order on the app and they are pretty spot on the estimated time. Sometimes there is a wait because I have to admit there is heavy foot traffic. This location is in the middle of office buildings so it's no surprise how busy it is.
