I have been to this location a few times so far and it's always been consistent. I order through their app and my food/drinks are always ready on time. The staff is friendly, parking is easy with plenty of free spaces in the plaza, and everything runs pretty smoothly. My only complaint is there's sometimes a weird smell near the back seating area near the parking lot entrance. There are tables spread out throughout the Starbucks, but they could definitely fit more in the space. read more

The staff move very slowly. I waited a full 27 minutes just for a coffee, even though there was no line in the store.

My girlfriend ordered a grande chai latte which was really good and yummy. I really enjoyed this drink and it was really warm on a cold San Francisco day. Service here is really fast. They are very friendly. The ambience is very nice as well. There's a couple grocery stores and also one of my favorite places to get desserts and cakes, which is Suzy cakes. read more

Red Cup Day Nov 16 2023. Easy parking at 8am with street parking in front, and a lot in back. The staff was busy upon my arrival, but doing a great job keeping up with the online and in person orders. As for my order of a large Peppermint Mocha it was efficiently taken in person , and prepared in an acceptable amount of time. While waiting I looked about and there is ample seating and the space is clean and well kept. The beverage was as hoped for, with a strong Mocha flavor heightened via the Peppermint, plus I received a 2023 Red Cup. read more

Spacious, clean bathrooms (3 unisex single-stalls with a communal sink). Friendly staff. Plenty of seating, including by the windows, so it's good for people watching, studying, or working remotely. This was my first time walking into this starbucks. I asked for a couple cups of ice and accidentally dropped one. After seeing what happened, a barista spoke up and said "wasted all that ice." I don't understand how someone can hire an individual with a lack of manners and bad reviews. Not only that but when I went up to replace the fallen cup of ice she proceeded to say "another cup of ice?!" and more with an attitude. The wait here is nothing short of insane. I stopped by to get a matcha latte on my way to work and 25 minutes later I was still waiting. I had to ask the lady organizing all of the pick up orders 3 times to check on my drink and finally she conceded that they had lost my order. She actually gets 5 stars for dealing diplomatically with all of the annoyed patrons who have been waiting way too long for their drinks, the little girls who keep asking her for cups of water and the uber eats drivers who are standing in the middle and blocking everyone. 2 stars because the staff and location are good, but the place seems designed to prevent anyone from doing work with few/no? outlets at all. This must be deliberate, and I'm sure they have their reasons but people can get much better coffee just about anywhere else in the city. Unfortunately they messed up my order. I ordered a decaf latte in person and after drinking it I now have a raging headache and realized they definitely gave me caffeine instead of decaf. It was a very busy Friday morning, the store was packed with people waiting for their orders. The staff was prioritizing mobile orders (which I don't understand). They also seemed very stressed and treated the guests like kindergarteners - which has a time and place, but perhaps there is another solution like prioritizing in person orders? This location used to be open 24/7, but apparently the market for overpriced burnt coffee in the middle of the night wasn't enough to keep it open. There is no outdoor seating at this location. Its just a huge corporate feeling soulless mega brand coffee shop. If you are looking for the Walmart of coffee in the heart of SF, this is your spot. Do yourself a favor and never ever come here. We had a terrible experience with two of your employees on Wednesday 5/14 around 12pm. We ordered a strawberry blended lemonade and received a foamy refresher. When we told the two female workers, one short solid African American and one woman wearing a hijab, it was the incorrect drink, they got really defensive and told us it was our fault. They refused to remake the drink and when I was explaining the drink I ordered, they told me it wasn't a "thing". We called, and Jasmine, the supervisor, was amazing. I get it Starbucks, you are an established company and you probably feel like you don't have to prove yourself anymore ... at the very least tell your baristas to read the cup before preparing the order (making the drink). Below the sticker says "spl Cream", not half cream half iced coffee. Also, I don't see added sugar, yet the drink tasted like it had three pumps of sugar. If it says the only addition is cream then don't put sugar in it (there is enough sugar in the "cream" already). ... a little constructive criticism for you read more

Although not the fault of Starbucks itself, it's located directly outside of a bus stop that smells horrendous. Walking in, there is an absurd amount of dog hair covering the floors. The counters as well were dirty. When I received my coffee, it tasted like watered down espresso with no sweetness despite it being a white mocha AND caramel sauce. I am so thankful for this Starbucks. It's super convenient to park in the back lot since parking can be tough. And I don't want to pay meter either. AND it's basically open alllll the time! I mostly do mobile orders to save time and avoid the lines... and my drink has always been completed within 5 minutes of ordering! My drinks are also pretty much perfect - no complaints at all. A lot of people tend to study here and I have as well. There are a lot of small tables against the wall and a larger seating area in the back hallway towards the parking lot too. I always get the biggest they have, which I can never seem to remember the SB name for the size. This Starbucks is huge and seems like the lines go quickly. Pros: -Free parking lot w/ample spaces behind this shop w/rear entry door -1 Muni to Embarcadero steps from the entrance (inbound, east) -1 Muni to Legion of Honor (museum) drive across street (outbound, west) -open 5 AM to 10 PM -well-trained, friendly baristas -3 gender neutral restrooms, usually well-maintained -communal hand-washing station --Wifi -pleasant music with chill vibe -almost 50% massive glass windows for excellent daylight reading -a few tables near the rear entrance that are darker for laptop screen viewing -they give/dispense whatever creamer/sweetener you need (so dozens of unwashed hands haven't touched it) Cons: **no outlets for using laptop/phone charging** -@busy times, bathrooms can go unattended (no TP/seat covers, no soap) -As of July 1, 2022, you *still* can't tip baristas here on your credit card so you must remember to bring a cash tip (imagine the tip $$ they lost during the pandemic???) Every surface (counter, windows, floor, tables, chairs, walls, where you get napkins, etc) were extremely dirty, sticky, smudged. There was paper and debris on the floor. The barista was super rude.
