When I explained that I wanted one separately, he opened the lid, removed one tea bag with his hand, poured the tea onto the floor, threw the tea bag away, and gave the cup back to me. Terrible service run by young, rude employees! I was the only one at the register to order a pound of beans, but the young Asian boy (I'm Asian too) went over to help clean up a seated customer's ice tea spill and refill it rather than ask a co-worker to tend to it. Interesting place. A decent size coffee shop with two barista counters, but only one side opened as the other side is shut down. It was a pretty long wait as they were short handed in staff? Anyhow, I was still able to get my latte after a long wait. I think they forgot my order. Another weird experience was after i stuck my credit card into the card machine, the whole machine went blank. No, I don't have a Peet's coffee app because there isn't any locations around my neck of the woods. So I usually pay cash or credit card. Lol. Pretty nice location in a shopping plaza. The people at this location are kind of friendly, the place is pretty clean. The bathroom could use some work, especially when it's really slow. I wish they would do a better job at listening. But it seems that he has chilled out now. The other employees are awesome. They are very sweet, friendly and helpful. I get my iced matcha in any Peet's and always satisfied. This is my first time getting it from this store. But totally disappointed. I ordered large but when i came home to drink it, it was only 75% of the cup. With the bubbles/frappe. Haven't noticed it while in the store coz it was bubbly when i got it. The cup looked full.... After a solid morning workout, I needed something refreshing to kickstart my day. I had a Peet's gift card burning a hole in my pocket and was glad there was one located upstairs in the center. I did notice that there were plenty of seating available had I decided to chill out at the store. My order was promptly filled and I was on my way. One day morning I was in this Peet's Coffee branch. First of all, I would say, it is very convenient location. You can use huge parking lot in Potrero Center. There are a lot of shops in the area around, and you can drink some cups of coffee if you are tired from shopping. This place is pretty big. But most of the sitting places are in front of the windows. Because of this, on a sunny day, there is hot as hell. You can sit outside, there are a few metal desks and chairs near to the entrance. It is quite a nice place to work or surfing the web. You can sit at the huge wooden table inside and start your business. Unfortunately, there just one or two sockets so you cant charge your devices in busy hours. If you want to go to the restroom, you should ask the staff to give you QR cod. You can scan it and the door will open automatically. Customer service was good generally. Just one thing I dislike - barista. He seemed rude to me, didn't answer my question about my drink. But the drink itself was very good. You can buy there the same stuff as in any other Peet's Coffee places as cups, merchandise, roasted coffee, etc. It is not my first time here, and I noticed dirty tables, bad customer service from time to time, just you to know. Efficient employees who work fast making drinks while customers ask questions. Parking is easy and this location has plenty of tables. Today my friend brought her dog with us to Peets and Safeway. I ordered my coffee, came outside to get my friend's dog, and she went to Safeway. My coffee was ready and Ken, the gentlemen who took my order, waved at me. I've been here several times and I feel so welcome. The staff never ever give me attitude like the staff at the Ferry building location do. One of the staff even asked me if I was a Yelper since I had a button on my bag. I said, "Yes, yes I am!" Got a nice big cup of dark roasted coffee to go here. After flying in from the east coast - caffeine levels were dangerously low. We pulled in - got the dark roast - added cream and one Splenda and I was good to go. The coffee was incredibly rich, robust, full-flavored, and delicious! I love love love this Peet's. I would give it 5 stars if it were a little bigger (with more of the big tables). Either way, I still frequent this place at least once a week to study. Like I mentioned, there is only one big table so I have to kind of linger around at one of the smaller tables until it clears up so I can post up here for a few hours and get homework done. Other than that, this Peet's is great. They have a delicious chai tea latte and iced caramel coffees. The baristas are always on duty sweeping and cleaning the place even when there are lots of people in line. They are also very friendly and apologetic when your order takes a bit to make. The acceptable, no, exceptional face of corporate coffee. This is my local Peet's and lives up to the high standard (we won't talk about the ones at SFO). First off, their espresso machines are manual and not autobotic ones. Secondly, you know the date that your coffee was roasted and it only has to cross the Bay Bridge from Berkeley to find its way into your cup. I get coffee from here almost daily and I'm disappointed that I have not been chosen as their "customer of the week" as I do believe I embody the Peet's spirit (whatever that is), oh maybe that is why I didn't win. Anyway, I'm not bitter and neither is the coffee. My only criticism of Peet's is that they vary the bean they use to pull espresso and some of them are frankly not suitable for the method. I believe a good espresso blend should be stuck with as the extraction process does not lend itself to the fruitier coffee types. Ate at togos- and the bathroom was "out of order". Went to Safeway, same. Ross- no bathroom. Finally tried peets and asked if I could use the bathroom cuz togos was out of order. Got attitude right away and was told store policy requires me to buy something to use their bathroom. I've worked at Starbucks before, and I think it doesn't take much compassion to tell someone "sure" when they've walked all over looking for a bathroom after they alreaf paid somewhere thinking the bathroom would work Thus center sucks. After shopping from Vitamin Shoppe and Safeway, my husband and I decided to drop by at Peets to buy some drinks. We sat in the coffee shop for a while and once done, I decided to go to the rest room before we drive all the way to Burlingame. When I was in the line, an African American girl approached me and said I have to buy something in order for me to use the bathroom. I said to her that I already did and I just need to use the bathroom before heading out. She asked me, "What did you buy?" I said, "I ordered mango infusion cold drink." Then this time she walked away. She came back and said, "Can you go to the cashier? I told her, "Why don't you ask my husband "(who was still sitting and waiting for me) "He has the receipt." My husband wanted to use the rest room as well. The Barista said to my husband, "I don't know you, I know her." Then the cashier approached the Barista and said, "I know the guy, he ordered the drinks". My husband showed the receipt, then the Barista gave as a paper with a code. Out of disgust, I told my husband, "Let's just go and not just use the rest room at all. NO APOLOGIES AT ALL. What a TERRIBLE experience. Really bad experience here. I understand that the area is a bit rough, but you should not do this with your customers, because if you do, the customers will never return. I experiences a positive response from Starbucks which is located at Church Street in San Francisco just beside Safeway, which is also a little rough area, but I never encountered this type of bad customer service.
