I just stopped in with my coworkers for a quick iced coffee. We were served by a new Barista named Calvin. Calvin was very nice and caring. He gave us our "treat receipts" and told us to come back after 2 pm. He let us know that he was new and, of course, we were understanding. He needed help with a few things (adding value to a gold card, ordering a specific coffee, etc.). I felt bad because another male barista, who was supposed to be helping him, seemed to lose his patience. Poor Calvin! Overall, good experience and we wish Calvin the best! read more

Ugh! Every time I'm come here, I always try to avoid having a rude barista named Jenny make my drink. She's always so angry and she always looks like she hates her job. She gave me NO ice when I asked for easy ice, no strawberry juice, barley sweetened, and it wasn't even filled all the way to the top of my cup! I gave her a look at my cup and then she realizes that it not a full amount. Didn't realize how bad my drink was until I took a sip in the car! Besides that awful encounter, the other baristas are sweet and kind. Would've been a higher rating from me if it wasn't for her. This is my go to Starbucks location and usually I receive the best service. But someone needs to train Jenny on her customer service skills especially. read more

So I stopped at this location yesterday morning it was a bit busy, but that's expected at Starbucks. I waited in line a few minutes and it was finally my turn. I wanted something simple white hot chocolate with soy as I advised the cashier. He looked up at me and said is this size okay with zero personality. I could tell he totally didn't want to be there. I noticed as my order was about to be made the cup said hot chocolate so I politely advised the girl before she started making it that its white hot chocolate. The staff here is very friendly, especially the short hair girl. I love her smile. The drinks here taste good. I usually order Green Tea Frap with 1 scoop of protein powder. Ever since mobile ordering was instated, I haven't had to awkwardly and uncomfortably fumble over my order with the baristas. This is not to say that I don't like engaging with the Starbucks staff, or that they are irritated by my orders; I simply love the ease of checking off boxes and making my additions more accessible. I also think this opens up additions that customers weren't previously aware of. The reason I've rambled about the mobile pay is due to the fact that I've only used mobile pay at this location, and I've never had an issue; ever. So this review is specifically their customer service. I had a poor interaction with an employee named Cassie. She's a short blonde and I've never been so insulted in my life! First of all, I understand that there are a lot of homeless people in this area so they JUST installed a coded doorknob for the restroom. I've been coming to this Starbucks pretty frequently because my fiance works in the area, so I thought it would be a perfect spot for me to study for my law exam to practice medicine (just graduated Optometry school). I've been coming here so often that I'm now a Starbucks gold member. The service here has been mediocre but never anything bad enough for me to want to leave. Today finally made me pack up my bags. I always order breakfast and a drink here and study peacefully. Today, a gentleman came in to install a new door handle for the restroom and I waited patiently for over 10 minutes to use the restroom. Cassie went to the restroom to try the new door handle and clearly saw me waiting...NO acknowledgement of my presence whatsoever!! I kindly asked the other employee (young gentleman) for help to use the restroom instead and Cassie asked him if I had bought anything. Seriously?! I've literally been at your coffee shop ALL day!! I can't even be acknowledged as a customer? It's not like I'm a random homeless person...I felt extremely disrespected. If you want to be treated like a human being then I recommend that you go elsewhere. The entire interaction was handled poorly. First, my presence should have be acknowledged. Second, she could have explained their new restroom policy and if wasn't sure if I had bought anything she could have asked or offered to start a drink for me while I used the restroom. There are so many ways a good employee could have handled this situation. Hopefully she's new and is still going through training, but doubtful. Regular here with my boyfriend. Never had any issues until today. I always get the same thing. Americanos with white mocha and whip. I had to watch the barista remake my drink 3 different times. First time my drink tasted like it was made with expired espresso so i asked for a remake. When she gives me my re made drink i try it and immediately taste milk. Americanos never come with milk unless asked for so when i asked if she added milk in the remake she laughs and says i probably did. Like you probably did??? How do you not know what you put in a drink youre making?? So she had to remake it AGAIN and when she gave me the remake i saw the layers of every ingredient like it was not stirred and half assed. At that point i was so over this barista so i just asked for a refund. I ended up getting a coffee at the Starbucks inside the Vons where the service and quality of the drinks are so much better. read more

I am a gold card member at starbucks, I get it quite a bit. When I went to this one I asked for a tall iced caramel macchiato without the ice. They said that if I didn't get the ice in it they wouldn't fill the cup all the way. I've always ordered my macchiatos like this and never had a problem. I'm paying for the coffee not the ice? So if I don't want my coffee to be more like ice with a side of coffee, that shouldn't be a problem. The guy wasn't really hearing me out so I just made it a grande with ice. This is the only Starbucks I've been to with poor service. Been here 5 times and still the same. Ordered twice thru mobile to make it faster but they forgot to make my order. People behind me got their orders but I still didn't get mine. The last time was enough for me as I got late for work waiting for my mobile order for 15 minutes even when they were not busy. I just started working at an office around the corner from this Starbucks so I'm a what you can say a "regular" here. The weekday morning baristas are always great.
