I came here on a Friday morning and instantly loved that there wasn't really a "door" because the opening was as tall the ceiling. It definitely gave off a very welcoming feeling. Everything was pristine and aesthetic from the coffee equipment to their interior. I would say they have a smaller interior place, but I didn't have too much trouble finding somewhere to sit because they also have plenty of outdoor seating! I got their iced madagascar vanilla latte, which was really good! Even though it was a latte, there was a distinct coffee flavor that peeped through which I enjoyed. Their menu looks pretty amazing because they also have a wide variety of teas, which I definitely will be back to try. I could tell they were backed up when I was ordered because there were only 2 people working, but it was a Friday at 8:30am so it was expected. Regardless, great service & super friendly! So I had to take my food back to them right before I took my first bite (she was hovering over me) and put everything in Togo containers and then I was able to go sit down right next to everyone else and eat. The restroom is diagonal across the lobby and about 200 feet away. The ganache late, I have to admit, is the best I ever tried so I might have to change my favorite coffee shop from the Pasadena one to this one. It connects with the company and you can take a look at the building which is gorgeous with its architecture. Highly recommend a visit. The barista working there is so kind and pleasant. I probably called 5 times before I got there asking him about parking/finding the building and other random questions lol. So thank you barista for being patient. I'm usually a big fan of this place. I love their drinks and food. They have a really friendly staff and great set up going. Just a negative experience today. I ordered one drink online and they were a little busy per usual. I got there 5 minutes before the expected time of completion. It's now 10 minutes after the expected time of completion and I see four people in line. They all get served with their food and drinks before me. I find that really interesting and confusing. I check in with the staff to ask if they can check on my order and I get met with "it'll come out in a moment". There was no apology or a "sorry about that". I get my drink 30 minutes after the expected time. Usually a weekly customer but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. Probably needs an update to their online ordering. read more

My expectations for a coffee shop aren't high and the guys that work here are usually friendly and attentive. He was great about it and just mentioned it to the barista in passing. She couldn't find the ticket to my order and when she did she made it a point to "let me know" that it would be 30 minutes as stated on the email. Which is fine I didn't ask for the drink I mentioned it so they could come out at the same time. 40 minutes later still no drink, no line of customers and I'm literally standing at the to go section while the 3 women chat amongst themselves not acknowledging me. I finally asked about the drink and my ticket was just sitting there. Could have been an oversight but the attitude made it feel intentional. My absolute favorite cafe in Irvine! The aesthetics and the interior are so nice. The outdoor seating around the cafe is also very nice to sit and read or chat with friends. I always get the ceremonial matcha with no milk and the grilled chicken sandwich with pesto! I really liked the matcha quality. the first time i made a review on stereoscope, i was convinced i was just given a bad batch. i had ordered a ceremonial matcha, that ended up being powdery and flavorless. i was suggested by the owner to try the strawberry matcha as a pre-sweetened matcha, and that's exactly what i did. my friend and i both ordered strawberry matchas, and they will sometimes bring the drink right to your table which is nice. the drink itself was very sweet, but i cannot say i really tasted any matcha. i think that if i did a blind taste test, i would just think it was strawberry milk. while we both enjoyed the real strawberry pieces in the drink, it was not anything special and really underwhelming as a matcha. we appreciate the employees reminding us to validate parking, and the cleanliness and aesthetics of the tables outside. i probably will not go here again. read more

This cafe was very beautifully set up; its a perfect working environment, with both indoor and outdoor seating! However, the parking is pretty limited. The Madagascar vanilla latte tasted great, but wasn't anything special. The smoked salmon avocado toast, on the other hand, was amazing (the dill, lettuce, and lemon zest gave it a different feel than other avocado toasts!) Whenever the best coffee shops I go to around OC They keep a very good consistency. Every time I go my drink is always made the same and beautifully. Whenever I don't want coffee, this is my go to spot to get a strawberry milk. The way they make the strawberry milk is so good and you can't find it anywhere. It's not too sweet. It's made fresh and it's super yummy. I also had there burrito which was phenomenal. I recommend this place to all my family who come and visit me.
