The worst dealership I have ever came across. Took the car in Transmission Connection issue. Replaced the Transmission Control Module (TCM) and did not solve the problem. Replaced the fuel pump and did not fix the issue. Eventually was told that the Body Control Module (BCM) was bad. Dealership could not fix it and would like the car junked because they could not program it. Car was with the dealer with more than one year and eventually the Bureau of Automotive Repair intervened and provided partial settlement. By the way, the dealership replaced the fuel pump without re-installing fuel sending unit. Eventually replaced the BCM. Took the car to an independent shop for the transmission connection issue and it was a power/steering control module. Also fixed the fuel gage issue. Very shoddy work. Stay away! read more

There are so many other places to get your car serviced than Stevens Creek Chevy. I don't often cast wild aspersions in my reviews but these guys operate like crooks! My tale of woe starts with a $300 quote to diagnose a burned out sensor which they quoted $2000 to repair of which the $300 would be applied as a credit. After getting home googled the problem and found a $15 sensor and purchased it from a Chevy dealer in another state. The sensor replacement requires a computer firmware update. When I took it in get updated they wanted another $300 and I asked them to apply the diagnostic quote's $300 to the cost. They changed the terms of their offer to apply the $300 to repairs THEY had completed (they never said this at the time of the diagnostic). In a capsule you see how they do not respect their customers. I will never use their service department nor purchase a car from them ever again. read more

My wife and I were planning on just grounding her lease. But luckily we got greeted by Alejandra Abedoy out front right away. She told us that there were two Bolts available for sale, she did not hesitate to show us both vehicles. (They were different trim levels.) Not only did she go over the vehicles. But she went above and beyond to help us understand all the features. When we went inside to see some numbers Omar Omari was the easiest and most transparent person to talk with and he was beyond professional about what he was able to do for us. After 5 minutes of talking with Omar Omari we both knew we were leaving with a brand new 2022 Chevy Bolt. When it came to the Paper work Omar Khalil was very friendly, fast and funny. I have bought cars in the past and always dreaded going to finance. But this experience was beyond satisfying. We left happy and will return in a few years to purchase again from this dealership. This review is related to the service center. I have a quote for a repair that is not covered under warranty and that is twice the cost of competitors. Fine... it's a dealership it's going to cost more. The part that bugs me is the person who wrote the quote tried to scare me into thinking that going with another company would void the vehicle warranty. This bullying tactic is terrible and unfortunately works on a lot of people. They have to prove that someone else doing work did something to break it (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuson%E2%80%93Moss_Warranty_Act). If you take it to a good mechanic or in my case a specialist, they're less likely to cause issues than the dealership mechanics. For those making warranty claims, make sure you know you have the ability to contest any denied claims. It's very shady that they're claiming that simple repairs can void the warranty. read more

This is a service review. Dropped off my Chevy volt because I had a check engine light and service high voltage battery light. Noted that my fluids were low and so I topped them off prior to sending the car in. They ran a diagnostic and said my drive motor reservoir should be replaced for $1833. It took them 2 days to get back to me. I said don't do anything. I picked up the car and paid $200 for them to essentially plug an OBD reader in, and took it home. Charged it up. It works fine. No more check engine light. So they offered to fix something that wasn't broken. They were slow. They were expensive. I'll never go there again. read more

First I brought it in for parking sensor faliure and they rented us a car because we only have 1 car. They tried to get it to fail but couldn't get it to. They Never said anything about us paying for a rental car plus I was charged for 2 day and we only had it one day. This happened. Over two months ago and then they charged our credit card for the rental for 2 days. Two months later not cool. Bryan the service manger said he would not take care of it because it didn't fail. Then why rent the car. Also very hard to get ahold of him and asked GM to call and no response. They are not on the up and up. My initial experience here was not a good one. I wasn't treated well by the first salesman who approched me who could not get details on their Volt inventory straight. I came 3 days in a row, checkbook in hand and had to turn around twice. By the third day, Tony (or as my father and I call him "No Balogna Tony") saw that we hadn't been treated right and was ablt to get us the info we needed. He took over as our salesman and helped make things right and find me the perfect Volt. I really enjoyed working with Paul D at this dealership. Nothing else about this dealership stood out: for example, we waited 2-3 hours to finish paperwork as the folks helping Paul ran around doing other stuff. The finance manager offered to give us Starbucks gift cards when they realized, but then didn't follow through once we'd sign the paperwork lol. Working with Paul, we ended up selling a Tesla and getting TWO new Chevy Bolts at the same time! We also tried to get a 3rd family member to get a Chevy from Paul, as well, but it was out of stock by that time. Going from one Tesla to 2 Chevy Bolts was all thanks to working with Paul. He was super professional, responsive to our needs, and even followed up after the sale to see how we were doing and if we were enjoying everything. A+++++++ but please contact Paul D and work through him! If working with Paul, I recommend this Chevrolet vs the others in the bay area. The others (Fremont, Capitol, etc) would trick me into coming in, then tell me the car I wanted wasn't even in stock and try to sell other cars. They would never explicitly say it was out of stock or unavailable, and keep telling me to come in, and then dawdle around showing other cars until they finally admitted they didn't have the one I wanted. Or, after I declined to work with them, they continued to text or send emails and being pushy for weeks afterwards. One person from Capitol (?) even aggressively responded saying he could tell I was opening his emails and do him the courtesy of responding -- after I told him to leave me alone. So this is a huge tangent, but interacting with Paul was so easy and friendly, compared to every other Chevy person we spoke to/interacted with, including at Stevens Creek. We bought our 2021 Chevy Tahoe at the end of last year. When we purchased the Tahoe, it had significant scratches on the internal paneling. We loved it and decided to purchase it if they agreed to repair it. It was written in the contract for replacement of the panels. We waited for them to repair. In April 2022, we had the paneling replaced. We inspect the work and they scratched both panels again! Carelessness and negligence. So we spoke to them again and informed them this work was unacceptable. We were told they would order the parts for replacement again. We waited and waited. Heard nothing. My husband called the service/parts department and they said the parts that were ordered were incorrect. So they informed us they were ordering again. We have been waiting for a response. My husband continues to call and has been told someone will call him back. No response. It's back and forth. Today, I decided to contact them. I called and asked to speak to a manager. A woman in the service department answered. I asked her if she was a manger because she didn't even introduce herself or share her name, she said no, the manager isn't available and is in a meeting that would last a couple hours (mind you it's Friday at approximately 3-4pm on a Friday going into the Labor Day weekend. Clearly, they have liars working in their dealership. After looking through the notes of my case, She informs me that she was going to go to the parts department and check to see if the parts were there and she would call me back. She never called back. Another lie. They should be ashamed of their business and lack of customer service. I am now in the process of getting my lawyer involved because we are done trying to contact and connect and get a response. They lack basic customer service and need to evaluate who is actually working for their dealership. read more

A couple of years ago, at ANOTHER GM service closer to my home, I was recommended an engine oil change for my Spark EV which does not have an engine. Naturally, I steered clear of that dealer after that incident. The failures on my EV were related to the traction battery charging and cooling systems. The dealer service software did not allow the repairs to be made under the traction battery warranty coverage which did not make much sense to me. My service advisor, Bryan Yorkey worked with GM corporate the get the permission for the repairs to be covered under warranty. I had pulled the trouble codes from the vehicle. Upon seeing the codes, Bryan remembered that he had seen the same issue on another Spark EV a couple of years ago and what part had failed. Throughout the process Bryan kept me updated of the progress through text messages. The whole thing took a while, which is to be expected because of the coverage resolution issues but overall it was a positive experience. Honestly speaking, based on my earlier experiences with two Japanese brands and the service advisors I had worked with, I did not expect that GM would allow coverage under warranty and I was (pleasantly) surprised that my service advisor tried to make that happen and it DID happen. This dealer deserves to have its license revoked. Their staff is not trained to handle nice cars such as my Corvette. I'm not questioning their technical ability to service the car - the level of attention and care for the cars is just non existent. They left my car parked outside with windows open for multiple days which messed up my tan leather interior. Then some tech took my car to his house?!?! And on another occasion they parked my car under some tree and it was full of leafs, even in the engine bay. This is just the beginning, trust me you don't want to know the rest... My vehicle was parked at courtesy Chevrolet Stevens Creek, for 3 weeks for a recall and when they return it... guess what, the did not do the work on my vehicle. That's fine they offer much better service at the Chevrolet Service Center on Capitol Expressway. I had several bad experiences with the service department. If it was just one, I wouldn't be posting this review. It was more than once One was last year for my 2017 Chevy Bolt. I made an appointment due to a battery capacity issue. The advisor told me over the phone the car I could bring the car in and pick it up the same day after the diagnostic was done. I was planning on waiting at the dealership. When I arrived, I was informed this was not the case at all. The car actually would have to stay at the dealership at least one day for the capacity test. They blamed the miscommunication on a 3rd party advisor they contract with to make the appointment, and said they had given wrong expectations about the diagnostic time. The car ended up being out 2 days for the diagnostic. An issue was found, and the dealer had to order parts. I wanted to pick up the car while waiting for the parts, but the dealer said it wasn't possible because the car was taken apart and not drivable. They wanted to keep the car that way until the parts arrived. I had to fight to get a rental car. I ultimately got one after calling daily. Last week, I made an appointment for my 2015 Chevy Volt. There were multiple issues, several of them random : mysterious beeps happening randomly while driving, "service airbag" message appearing at random times also, one defroster randomly not working, TPMS sensor randomly reporting very low for one tire, even though it was fine (yes, I checked all 4 tires). The advisor told me me the diagnostic fee would be $200. He informed me there was a recall to be performed on my car also. I scheduled the appointment for monday morning 9/13/2021 at 9:15am. The car was scheduled to be picked up same-day in the evening after 6pm. On monday morning, there was an additional issue on my car. The engine light had come on. the When I arrived, I was informed each issue I reported would cost $300 to diagnose. So, now we are talking about $1500 instead of the $200 I was quoted over the phone. The person at the dealership again blamed the third party company who takes the calls for all this, saying they are not allowed to quote a price, but that $200 per issue is normally the price per issue, and $300 per issue for EVs. I left without having any of the work done, including the recall. I'll get the recall done at another dealership who runs their business better, takes responsibility and doesn't blame a third party company for problems. Upon getting home, I checked the codes with an OBD2 myself rather than pay $300 to have them read. I'll have the TPMS replaced rather than pay $300 just to have it diagnosed. Still not sure what I'm going to do about the random beeps and service air bag message. They don't seem to impede driving and the defroster issue only happened once. I know I won't be paying $900 to diagnose these, though. read more

I bought a 24,000 used Chevrolet Impala and after 2 weeks of driving the front bumper started falling apart because it was glued together and they refuse to repair it. It was glued together!!!! The turn signal on the side view mirror was broken and the back seat is not locking into place. The used car manager Rusty Ashabranner was extremely rude and condescending he accused me of causing the damage and trying to get them to fix this is the worst experience I've ever had buying a car do not buy a car from these guy's they are crooks!!!! read more

He was very thorough and went through my previous service record to make sure I didn't need anything else done. I wish I can give this place negative 5 star!!! I emailed my experiences to the general sales manager and the corporate general manager, but no respond! They simply do not care!!! Stay away from this place!!! I want to share some personal experience I had with your dealership, and regarding the salesman, Paul Duran. I met Paul through my friend who leased his mom a Bolt from him, I've been to your dealership twice, trying to get the same deal, but both times Paul cannot delivered his promises First time he quoted me, $4200, 1Pay, 10k miles, 3 months of early turn in credit for my current Volt, *current Volt is leased through my company name, then at the end no deal because some of the rebate couldn't apply. He reached out to me on 4/27, stating he can do $4000, 1 pay, 10k miles, 3 months of early pull in credit on my volt, then I went there again yesterday. I had an appointment with him at 4pm, Me and my wife arrived at 345pm, texted him, he said he will send someone to help us, we haven't been served until 45 mins later, I saw him walk behind me, greeted another customer who just walked in, then I texted him again and he finally came to us, and brought Daniel to help us. Daniel was very patient and helped us went through 90 % of the deal, then at the very end, I asked the finance manager regarding the early turn in procedure for my Volt, and he wasn't aware of it, *both Paul and Daniel know my volt needs to early turn in, Daniel even took the registration of my Volt, my personal plate off my Volt and logged down the milage on the car, and advised my wife to take some pictures of it for our self protection from damage. Ended up they cannot honored the 3 months early pull in credit after I spent 4 hours and provided all the information they asked for ahead. Daniel offered us to go home first and will check with the sales manager next thing tomorrow since that's a decision they cannot make at scene. It's fine, when we were about to leave the dealership, Paul walked up to me in the parking lot. He was really unprofessional, rude and nonsense. First, he was clicking his finger, to have me walk to him like I am his dog, the way he talked to me was aggressive, rude and nasty. The first thing he said was, dude, I only deal with people that is happy, and obviously you are not, and I said, of course I am not happy, I just spent 4 hours here for nothing. Then he said he just went home and was playing with his kids, and had to drive back here for me because of the situation, like doing me a big favor, then I went, I appreciate that, but it's really not my problem, you guys are the one who screwed up. Then he went, i didn't know your current lease is under your company name, I said you should know since that's my 2nd time came in trying to get the same deal, then he went, I can try 1 more time tomorrow but as a courtesy, and he blamed everything on my end, had an attitude and raised my voice. I admit I didn't sound too nice, I was very exhausted and was not appreciate how I was treated by Paul the whole time. At the end, he kicked us out of the dealership and said we are forever banned to come in.... Now, business is one thing and having such a terrible service experience is another thing. We felt like we were discriminated because we are Asians, the way he talked and looked at us are way different than the other group. All he had to do, was to apologize and I do understand people make mistakes, but he made the situation worse and just worsen up the situation... Not to mention, I just referred my good friend, bought another Bolt from him the day before, also I had been a long time client from Fremont Chevy and I had bought a few fleet cars there for my business... I have all the text and email records upon request... I hope you can look into this issue. Dealership is people to people business. What customers expect from dealership is good service and good price; disrespectful and unprofessional service like the one we just had could just turn them away.
