He told me he was going to find a table for our party before he takes our order. He came back and told us some tables were being cleaned and was going to save them for us. This was the first time I went in person and it was a bit different than expected. Ambiance is a bit dated inside, and you have to order first before sitting down but the service is amazing! I've been to Stonefire Grill so many times in the past and this experience was no different. There are some items on the menu that are consistently good and others that are just okay. I always leave satisfied and I feel like the meat here is grill well and are placed at a very reasonable price. This is what I had this time around. Tri Tip & 1/4 Grilled Chicken w/ Mac & Cheese - This was fire. Chicken was grilled nicely and was not dry. I had it with BBQ sauce and it was perfect. Tri tip always hits here and I had that with pepper garlic and was perfectly cooked. Mac and cheese was cheesy but also not overpowering, it was so good. You won't go wrong with this combo. (5/5) I feel like this place consistently delivers good food for a reasonable price. It's not like the highest end grill you can get but its a solid mid tier one. The food was sooooooo good here! Love the carrot cake and the nachos. Highly recommend. You order at the cashier and you find your table yourself. They give you a buzzer that doesn't seem to work. Service was kind of wacky though. After we got our nachos we never saw a server again. We had to hunt one down for our cake. It was really weird too because there was like 12 severs just goofying off. One plate came out and they all passed it to each other. It was the most bizarre thing Ive seen in a restaurant. Their salads used to look like a masterpiece and food was always spot on. On this night not so. The lettuce was so soggy, and the rest of the ingredients were sad. Plus the chicken tenders were greasy. The only decent meal was the burger however they forgot the lettuce. This is where I don't like tipping before you receive your food and service. You will order your food first, pay, and then proceed to your table. The cashier helping us was very friendly and took the time to explain everything as well as introduce their rewards program where you can earn coupons and points to redeem at your next visit. We ordered the half grilled chicken and baby back ribs that came with breadsticks and we chose garlic mashed potatoes as our side. For the grilled chicken, you can choose either barbecue or lemon garlic. We went with the lemon garlic. We also ordered the personal size of rigatoni with meat sauce and mozzarella and a fountain drink. After you order, you will be given a buzzer for your food and proceed to seat yourself at a table. There is an area that has a dispenser for your typical fountain drinks and teas. You can also find your utensils, napkins, condiments, and to-go boxes in this area. We like the self-service style. The food came out relatively quickly. We really enjoyed the grilled chicken and baby back ribs. The grilled chicken may seem kind of dry but if you dip it in the lemon garlic on the plate, it tastes delicious. We also enjoyed the garlic mashed potatoes and the breadsticks. My wife enjoyed the rigatoni with meat sauce and mozzarella because she is a big cheese lover. For me, I thought there was too much cheese with each bite. Reliable and with arguable good value:y first introduction to this place was 2020 when they had a stimulus package that included pasta, meat, salad, and breadsticks. That was a super solid deal an while that deal is gone there things are still reasonable priced in my opinion. I usually go hard during the holiday promotions and buy hella gift cards where you get bonus cash back, like buy 100 and get 30 back. If you stack that with their rewards program you actually get a great deal in my opinion. 2. The food is solid. I've never had a bad experience picking up or dining in wit the food. It is perfectly predictable and reliable. It may not be the sexiest food in the world, but it always gets the job done and is relatively healthier since they don't have as much fried food on the menu. 3. Quick reliable service with pick up times that are on the spot. If they tell you 30 to 45 mins, you will get your food in that window for pick up. No crazy delays or nonsense like that.
