Today we just ate here for the first time and it wasn't very good ..the service was good but the tri tip we ordered was very rare and we ordered medium .the Greek salad had no flavor ..theory mashed potatoes looked good but had no flavor .The chicken tortilla soup was the worst I have ever had very bland with zero flavor.but he breadsticks were good ..still the manager came over and gave us a complimentary desert cheesecake with blue berries which no one in the right mind would eat ..the crust was just awful and the cheesecake itself wasn't very good or the blueberries ..I felt I had to write this review but I will still go back and try the pizza cause it looks good in the picture ..The food comes out super fast so I would have to assume these items are all pre made ..They just need to add some seasoning and flavor to the mashedpotatoes,Greek salad,and trotilla soup as we were leaving we saw other people complaint about the food not tasting good also read more

My boyfriend and I were down south for a wedding. Based on positive yelp reviews we decided to try Stonefire Grill. The kind girl explained that we order our food and drink then sit anywhere we like and they'll bring it to our table. Kind if like Panera but bbq. We ordered the tritip for two with beans and greek salad (I'm trying to be on my diet). The food was fresh and tasty, the tritip was good and loaded with garlic. The bread sticks were loaded with butter and garlic. We loved the beans. Kind of like a cross between chili and baked beans. We walked out of there paying only $27 and food for the next day. I tipped our server who was friendly and attentive. My boyfriend and I were impressed as we've paid double that amount for dinner at other places and we felt more meh about our experience. I wish they opened a Stonefire in SF Bay Area. I'd be a customer for sure. For now, I'm tall be our go to place when we're down in LA area. read more

Food was fair. It's really a glorified cafeteria. Ordered our food upfront and beverages. We were given too small plastic cups (approx 5 oz cups) for our drinks. Was told since I was just drinking water that was all I could have. Asked if I could pay for a larger cup and I got an eye roll. You can choose your own table. Wait staff really does nothing but bring your food to your table but there plenty of employees standing around able to assist. You have to get your own water tea soda coffee. They will only bring your drinks if you order alcohol. Over priced self serve with an extra on attitude. The cashier did not enter my husbands sand which only his side. When our food came they basically said he never ordered it. Asked if they would please bring his sandwich and the immediately brought us a receipt to pay like we were going to skip our bill. No apologies were made and multiple managers walked passed us and not once were we greeted smiled at or asked how everything was. I guess if you are in a hurry and don't want to relax this place would be ok. Too many much better options for eats around here to be sub par at best. read more

My husband and I decided to try this place as it is pretty new in our area. We went for a late lunch at around 2:00 pm on a Thursday. Seemed a little odd to order at what looked to be a host/hostess desk. My husband ordered a French dip and I had the pulled pork sandwich. Sides of garlic mashed potatoes completed our meals. The food was great. I was excited to bring family and friends to this new place. One week later, we took our daughter there for her birthday dinner (along with her aunt and her cousin). The place was packed...the ordering desk was too close to the entrance.. people in line to order were blocking the doors. My sister and I both wanted the pulled pork sandwich. The young man taking our order said they were all out of pulled pork! This was at 6:00 pm on a Thursday night...you've got to be kidding! We ordered something else after reading thru the menu with people in back of jostling us around as they waited to place their orders. We went into the dining room and lucked out to find a table. I think it was the only open table in the whole place. There seemed to be a very large number of serving assistants...proving that they have enough staff to take the orders at the table instead of stacking people up at the order desk up front. My nephew ordered a tri-tip dinner which was served to him first. Then, after several minutes, my husband received his pizza. Then my daughter's pasta dish showed up followed by my pizza. The last person served (roughly 15 minutes after my nephew got his food) was my sister...her French dip was very disappointing. The meat was in thick slices with fatty edges and gristle. She didn't eat more than 3 bites of it. My nephew and my sister had mashed potatoes that were NOT served hot/warm...they were room temperature. We ordered a piece of New York cheesecake for dessert. It was a HUGE chunk of somewhat dry cheesecake. We had to tell the server that we had ordered it with fresh blueberry sauce. It took awhile, but we did get it. Most restaurants bring dessert plates and forks for everyone at the table; especially when the portion is clearly large enough to share. All in all, if we ever go back, it'll no doubt be for lunch when they've had a chance to work the bugs out at this new location. read more

Not my kind of restaurant. Your not allowed to sit down until you order your food..so guess what your standing for 10- 15 mins. We ordered 1/4 quarter chicken and ribs beans and slaw. The beans were 85% onions, 10% sauce, and 5% beans..Really. The coleslaw was dry...yes I said dry. I have never in my life had dry coleslaw. It has peanuts in it as well I guess to keep you from thinking about the dryness. The bill was quite expensive which kind of bothered me since no one comes by to refill your drink. You actually have to get up and get it yourself. In addition, be mindful that if you order barbecue sauce on anything the sauce is some watered down sauce some clown must have made in the back of the restaurant. They don't ever have to worry about me and my family dining here again! The ribs were dry as well. Who thought of this anyhow? The investors that got together to open this place need to cancel their investment and get their money now before they end up bankrupt. Just came back from our first trip there and I have to say I'm underwhelmed. The menu looked awesome but the food didn't deliver. Also, we received our appetizer and one meal together. Ten minutes later the second meal arrived, so now the first meal is cold. The staff should be educated that most people will not eat until everyone at the table has been served. First time here tonight. The food is amazing, tender meat, tasty, hot. Loved it! I will caution that this is a restaurant that you need to order as you arrive, then choose a table. I am not a fan of this style of restaurant. I like to sit and look at the menu and ponder my choices. I would suggest going on-line first and choosing what you want, otherwise you may feel rushed. I will definitely go back, but choose my options before I get there. One issue we had was that there were several flies buzzing around in the restaurant. In this area, this is pretty normal though. I came tonight for my second time, first time I had the lemon garlic salmon which is absolutely amazing! There are so many things on the menu that I decided I had to try something new each time. I ended up getting a salad that just didn't sit well with me. I hate to ever complain as I'm a former server so I never want to be "that person," but I new I wasn't going to be able to eat it and I was starving. I went up and instantly the manager, Louis, stopped and asked how he could help me. I told him, he said no problem, and sat there with me to help me decide exactly what I should get and offered all sorts of options on different modifications that I might like. Once I got the salad, he first came to check to see how it looked and if I needed anything extra and later came back again to make sure I liked it (which I loved it-- the spinach salad with shrimp!). Then as I was leaving, a server, Anthony, came over to offer some complimentary dessert. This place truly did go above and beyond in every way, they exceeded any expectations I could ever expect! I don't know if it has been a problem for not only me but the food was cold, undercooked ,and flat out gross. I got a side of " Mandarin oranges" and they were frozen and tasted of metal and rotten food. As for the Mac and cheese it was undercooked ,cold and sadly really dry ,and crunchy from the picture on the menu it looks to be creamy and rich quite frankly it was the polar opposite. My family member got the BBQ beef sandwich and it was hardly and meat but fat and it did not taste plesent I have no words to describe as how unexpected and unpleasant it tasted. My husband and I went to this restaurant for our Anniversary only to be disappointed to see that they allow dogs inside (not a service dog). Another disappointment was that you cannot be seated like any other restaurant. You have to order your food as if it was a fast food restaurant (with double the price).
