Great choice for lunch catering! We served appx 100 people at The Stadium venue. SF staff arrived early to setup and was ready to serve us right on time. The staff was extremely friendly kept our buffet line moving with no delays. Our menu: greek salad, tri-tip, chicken, and pasta. Tri-tip was moist and tender, chicken was dry, pasta was good, salad was fresh and breadsticks were yummy as always. We did have plenty of left overs, the SF staff drove all the food over to the local fire station. How awesome is that! Amazing community service SF, great job!!! read more

Ordered dinner for pick up at 4:45 PM. Arrived promptly and was told it's not ready. I stood back from the counter to wait and observed 3 employees preparing and packing food wearing their masks under their noses. The MGR was nearby and seemed indifferent stating they are talking, DUH so am I wearing a mask. He asked my name to see about my order and found it on a back table. It was 4:48 and I asked if it was there the whole time and he said yes. I felt the box and it was cold. I left the food and went elsewhere. The workers are always friendly. I recommend the pesto pasta and bread sticks. This is a great restaurant for catering or pickup for large groups. With the whole restaurant business thrown into turmoil because of the covid pandemic, a lot of places became nothing but an assembly line kitchen throwing bad product with no standards or quality and shoveling them through Uber eats and Postmates and the likes. I did indeed order food from stone fire through Uber eats, an order of about 75$ to be left at my front door. The driver left one bag that had plastic utensils and a side salad, I called him and he pretended to have not paid attention and came back to deliver the three other bags 20 minutes later. When I opened the bags, the order had mistakes in it with medium meat being over cooked and so on, so I called Uber eats and they said talk to the restaurant even though their driver was horrible. the restaurant and the manager I spoke to (Robbie) was very courteous, truly represented what customer service should be like and corrected the issue with a very positive attitude. If it weren't for speaking with him, I would have not ordered from stone fire again but thanks to this experience, I will continue happily to be a customer of theirs! read more

My co workers and I went here for lunch yesterday we ordered by 10am so there shouldn't have been any rush. My chicken breast off the grill didn't seem to be done when I flipped it over and seen how pink it was, I realized it probably wasn't very close to done. The cook literally grilled 1 side of the chicken breast and put it in the Tupperware not allowing the other side to cook through to the middle. That's ridiculous ! This review is for to go orders only. My family always gets two stimulus packages. Pretty easy to order on the phone and can have your food ready in about ~ 30 minutes. You can get enough to feed 6-8 starving people. With two pizzas, two salads, two orders of tritip. It's a steal. The garlic bread here is delicious as well as the barbecue sauce. The meat is tender. However on multiple occasions, perhaps it's because we always get to go orders, whenever we order medium rare, we always end up with well done tri tip... also slightly disappointed that they've decreased the amount of barbecue sauce you receive with your packages. That's one of the restaurants best parts for me! Pizza bread is soft and chewy and delicious. It has that 800 degrees pizza dough taste in Westwood! Service also varies here, some servers are kind and patient on the phone, but some have also been extremely rude so took out 1 star for that, and 1 star for the way tri tip comes out for to go orders. read more

Have been to other Stonefire locations, and always had a great experience. This one started with Bennet at the cash register. Friendly and knowlegable. Gave him a huge tip since he was great. Then we sat for our meal. Passion fruit tea was awesome. But then things went south. There were three of us. One person got their bread sticks and pesto pasta (which was excellent) right away. It was 10 minutes before the pasta with marina came out. Another 25 before the 3rd person got the tritip but it was missing the sauces and mashed potatoes. Took forever to flag anyone down to report the missing items. Another 7 minutes for the mashed potatoes. A total of 32 minutes between the first and last meal being delivered. Marinara was bland, tri tip tasty but the meal was not enjoyable as we spent the whole time wondering when the next item might get delivered. It's close to the Fred Kavli theatre so would have been perfect as a "go to" when we are attending a performance, but not sure about trying again since the service was so spotty. read more

Very poorly managed location. Food is ok, but inconsistent. I have been there and received great, high-quality food at times, and other times received a cold, gross plate of yuck. Complained about this once, and the manager emailed me back with all sorts of excuses why they suck (his words) but no offers for restitution or solutions for a fix. It's obvious based on management's response to me that the inconsistency isn't going to change. Beware of catering/to go orders. I have had the wrong order given to me more than once, and one of the times they gave my whole $200 order to the wrong person and I had to wait for an extra hour and was late to my party because they had to remake it. Two bad food experiences in a row now with this location. And note, I've been ordering food from this location for many years. A month or so ago I ordered 2 ala carte bbq chicken breasts to go. They were dry and chewy. In the past they have been fresh and juicy. We figured it was just an off day. Now this afternoon we got a full rack of spareribs which were very dry and chewy. Tasted like they were old and had been sitting around a couple of days and microwaved. Extremely disappointed!! And too $$$ to put up with quality this bad. The tri tip here has always been consistent, very tender and flavorful. I always go for the Mesquite BBQ style tri tip and it never disappoints. You really can't go wrong with any of the dishes here. The options, if you choose large will feed many. Great sides and salads to go along with your protein of choice. Than as we started eating the food runner mentioned the kids meals would be out soon, we waited 35 minutes for a kids ribs meal and a kids pasta with marinara. Both cold. From a takeout Christmas Eve dinner for twenty people to their delicious assortments of salad to the delicious sides (Chicken Tortilla soup, Whole Roasted Cauliflower, Mashed Potatoes) to the Tri Tip, Stonefire Grill knows the food game and is one of the best places to eat in Westlake Village. It is perfect for office take out lunches. My supervisor has food restrictions and the chef will specially make items for her. They have amazing customer service for a crazy, busy restaurant. My wife and I had dinner at this new location less than 3 weeks after they opened. We choose a Thursday night thinking it might be a less crowed. When I we couldn't find a place to park, I knew we would become part of a mob. When I opened the front door, I bumped into a line of customers. A clipboard laden lad of about 18 greeted us, took our name and issued instructions regarding the assignments of tables. We choose a table for 2 with a high chair. The lad wrote down my first name and last initial on a white card. After a very short wait, we found ourselves in front of a cash register. We had previously perused the menu, so we placed our order. I had a chicken/rib combo and my wife had Salmon with a Caesar salad and a side of garlic mashed potatoes. As a side, I choose nuttycole slaw. Also included were 4 garlic breadsticks. I ordered two glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon. The total: $40.00. We found the table easily. The card with my name was perched on top of a foot long wire holder. First to arrive were the two glasses of wine. These were real wine glasses, crystal clear goblets actually, filled with at least 7-8 ounces of a deep, rich, aromatic Cabernet. The wine was the highlight of my dinner. Within 10 minutes, all the food arrived. My wife's salmon was an 8 oz. piece that was either baked/broiled. The caesar salad was large as was my coleslaw, so we shared. I was given 5-6 BBQ ribs and 1/2 chicken that was also BBQ. The ribs were very tasty with a honey sauce and the chicken was so tender I only needed a fork. We left with a box that contained part of my coleslaw, some chicken and two garlic sticks. The Harrigan sisters, who own the Stonefire Grill promote their restaurants as 'A fresh approach to family dining.' I agree. They have many larger tables seating up to 8-10, plus outdoor tables for those who prefer to dine al fresco. That restaurant appears to operate efficiently and is fully staffed to accommodate the large crowds. PRO: An excellent value for the money. Top quality products cooked to perfection.The menu offers 'family meals' for 4+ and 'crowd pleasers' for 6+. A separate register is available for take out food, same menu. CON: Too much garlic on the garlic sticks, but my wife thought they were wonderful. Her mashed potatoes reeked of garlic which was a turn off for me. Suggestion: why not offer these items sans garlic? The restaurant is noisy, but that is to be expected. No reservations. Check this place out. You won't be disappointed! read more
