This particular Stonefire I feel likes sets the bar amongst others. I've been to this one for indoor dining, takeout and large catering orders over the years. I was craving their bread sticks, tri tip and pork ribs so ordered a stimulus package w/ tri tip, bread sticks, Caesar salad, and pesto pasta for my family, along with an extra a la carte order of pork ribs. Everything was yummy and the ribs specifically hit the spot. The meat was tender they fell right off the bone. I'm a big fan of their BBQ sauce and bread sticks so that's always a must. For big food packages I highly recommend using their online system to order in advance as it did take about 45 minutes for my order to be completed. You can also order ahead if you plan to feed a large group of people. I think this location really excels at that. The food is always consistent here and I think their inside is usually clean and well stocked. Service is always outstanding even when things are busy. No doubt I'll be back in the future. read more

I'm consistently more and more disappointed with the service and food here. I have been a fan of Stonefire since I was a cheerleader in high school and we would go after all of the games and competitions. This was back when I lived in Santa Clarita. I am now almost 40 years old and I like to do takeout for my family however, since Covid, it seems this place has gone severely downhill. I rarely order takeout anymore, but every time I do, I keep thinking, "maybe it's gotten better and it'll be better this time", but I'm always wrong. Today was the worst experience I have ever had. Almost every time I order food in the last few years it says to get there at a certain time which is typically about 45 minutes or an hour, once I arrive the food is still not ready and then I end up waiting 15 or 20 minutes. Today I took my toddler and seven-year-old to pick up food at 5 PM before the rush. I ordered on my phone and it said to come in 22 minutes, I arrived in 30 minutes and they said it still was not ready so I sat with my kids. After 45 mins of waiting, both of my boys were so bored they started running around yelling and I'm trying to control them, so at this point it had been almost an hour since they said my food would be ready and about 90 minutes since I had ordered. The establishment was not very busy with seated tables and there was only a couple more people waiting for takeout, but after waiting about 25 or 30 minutes, the takeout line was backed up by over 15 people all just standing there with nobody to help them for over 10 or 15 minutes. There was well over 15 people working at Stonefire and yet nobody could seem to talk to a guest checking in or get anything done timely. I finally told them to please just reimburse me because I couldn't wait any longer to feed my young children and within a couple of minutes they threw everything in a bag and handed it to me. I got home 10 minutes later and every single thing was ice cold so that means it had been ready and it was just sitting there while they kept telling me that it wasn't ready!! So then Im reheating all of the takeout food that I had ordered for my family. I will not be back. I'm not sure how every single time I go here the food is never ready or prepared on time and they seem to think it's OK to ignore every single customer who walks in even though they seem to be severely overstaffed...whoever is running this place is doing something wrong!! I cannot stress how many times I keep going back every few months hoping for change and it's exactly the same. I feel completely ripped off. I just waited an hour for ice cold food. I ordered to make my life easier so I didn't have to cook while my husband was gone but it would have been tremendously easier to cook dinner at home in 30 mins rather than waiting in the takeout lobby for an hour while my kids lose their sh*t and then spend another 20 mins at home reheating it all in the oven. Please for the love of God... bring back the old Stonefire!! read more

It's a no for me. I wasn't sure what to eat for dinner last night and I haven't had Stonefire Grill since I was in my teens. Thought I should give it a try again and ordered some take out. Ordered the petite chicken & tri tip combo, macaroni & cheese and a kid's baby back ribs. The only thing that I ordered that tasted decent, was the tri tip and baby back ribs. The mashed potatoes tasted powdery, mac & cheese had barely any sauce, the chicken had a weird texture, my salad dressing had some weird white stuff in the lid (not on) and the breadsticks tasted like it was sitting out the whole day. There was no napkins or utensils in the bag either. Definitely did not want to end my night with bad food after a long day. Nope. Thumbs down from my bf and I. :( read more

Even when I order takeout, Stonefire continues to always provide delicious and good quality food. I ordered the lemon garlic salmon with a Caesar salad to go, and the staff prepared it very quickly and offered me lots of utensils and breadsticks. The salmon really absorbs the lemon garlic flavor well and is very fresh. It pairs excellently with the Caesar salad. I am so grateful for a restaurant that consistently provides great meals, regardless if they are dine-in or take-out. read more

I've been a loyal customer here for over 10 years, but tonight's experience was disappointing. I placed a pickup order on a busy Sunday, clearly requesting extra gorgonzola and butter sauce. After paying ($140 total, including a nice tip), the blonde manager acknowledged me but let me stand there for 10 minutes. Finally, another staff member--who was not at fault--brought one extra sauce after I had already waited 20 minutes. Frustrated, I left, only to find my entire order was cold. The to go containers were covered in what looked like coffee grounds and greasy fingerprints. I think that this restaurant has always been very good, the service is continually professional and courteous, and the ambiance is clean and friendly. I must attribute this continuity and consistency to its present manager, Gerald. He has been at the helm for a while now, and his staff members have a tremendous amount of respect for his leadership and his desire to make this eatery a great local casual family dining experience. I have noticed that each employee comes to personally say good night to Gerald and typically is rewarded with a "thank you" and a hug from Gerald at the end of their shift....where do you ever see that dedication and respect? One night, I asked an employee if it was Gerald's birthday because every employee was so attentive to him when they ended their day or work, and I was told that he does that every day and every evening just because he appreciates his team. His mother and my wife share the same first name, and he always greets my wife by her first name, even when the restaurant is busy. Honestly, the stimulus package is the greatest family value around. We chose delicious tri tip, Mac and cheese and a salad. I do miss the cartwheel salad as a choice. I never use Yelp, but I am compelled to jump on here to leave a review for Stonefire Grill in TO. I organize events in the community to support economic, workforce, and community development across the region. We had to pause our efforts once the pandemic hit. It has been a long 3 years of waiting and feeling depressed and anxious about finally doing things again. We started over 8 years ago by holding a networking/peer support lunch at Stonefire Grill. So, we had to reach out to them about helping us restart things. It was overwhelming and scary due to so much time off. That was until the GM, Matt, walked up to me. Matt is one of the most kind, supportive, empathetic, and thoughtful people I have met. I meet a lot of people. This is especially appreciated, given he is in the restaurant industry, where most GMs are the opposite. Matt took valuable time to sit down with me and attentively listen to what we do in the community and how Stonefire could help. The conclusion of that first meeting led to us throwing our first two lunch events since the pandemic. As for the events, Stonefire was a huge hit. Many other restaurants that have hosted us have either gone out of business or changed things up a lot--many in detrimental ways (much higher prices, lower portion sizes, poor treatment of their employees leading to being understaffed, etc). Stonefire was better than we remember it. The food is great. The service is great. The atmosphere is great (love the back patio). This has much to do with Matt's leadership style, which is inspiring and rooted in mentorship. We are already working on our next event at Stonefire. I highly recommend any organizer contact Matt about Stonefire hosting your group. Not sure why I keep giving them a chance after repeated heartbreaks. Came in with my wife at 8:26pm, and they said they couldn't take our order. It's just two of us ordering one meal to share. I get it, you're closing soon (08:30pm), but what's the point of advertising these hours? It should say open until the time you want to close your kitchen. I've been let down by this specific stonefire so many times and it's real sad considering I used to work at a stonefire when I was younger and our managers were adamant about serving guests until we hit our closing time. I recent met a friend at the Stonefire grill, at his request, for lunch. After learning the details of how this restaurant operates I understand why...ultimately it's the perfect place for a business or first date and completely eliminate questions like "who's paying", or "are we splitting the check". You walk up like any fast food restaurant chose from a mostly BBQ style menu, which reminded me of "Wood Ranch"... And also provide the seating and ambiance that's reminiscent of a regular sit down restaurant...like a "Wood ranch" There is no server in the traditional sense so once you get your order, they pretty much disappear. I ordered the petit tri-tip meal with a carrot cake and found it very satisfying. After catching up with my friend we both went our separate ways...eating the type of lunch we each wanted without all "bill stuff" that ends most casual meetings. Very disappointed with the delivery of my big order for my daughter's grad party. We ordered over $600 in food and they had Grub Hub deliver it! So my guests had to help bring in the trays of food for us since Grub Hub leaves the food on your door step! When you place a big order for 25 people why on earth wouldn't Stone Fire deliver it like they have always done for us. Ordered Togo from here earlier, when arriving, the girl who took our order who clarified it over the phone multiple times told us she put in bone in chicken when we ordered the breast. Meaning we had to wait 10 more minutes for the chicken. Getting home the chicken was rubbery and cooked in a rush and was served with about two cups of liquid sitting in the box. We then had to wait for them to make Tri-tip, and were waiting 25 minutes. Everyone was counting on the food, so this affected our plans the rest of the night.
