We visited on Saturday around 11 and ordered from the brunch menu--breakfast tacos and a waffle. We also got some of the ready made marble cookie dough bites. Vegan and non-vegan both enjoyed it. When I mentioned my husband was in the car with the dog, they said they were dog friendly and let our pup come in while we ate. Cute atmosphere with vegan cookbooks to peruse. I should have just spoken up and canceled my order, but I hate confrontation in public so I just threw the food away when I got home. Just nasty. I love this place. I feel like it's not super easy to find great plant based food in ATL, but this place gives everything I need and more. The food is super flavorful. I am not vegan, just very vegan friendly and this food is delicious. There is always a variety to choose from. Most of the food is pre made and kept cold, but they can heat it up for you and add fixings like avocado etc. I personally love the tacos and the black eyes pea soup but honestly I've had tons of things here and have not been disappointed. I see that people seem to really love their desserts as well. Their kale ceasar is also amazing. I love that I can come here knowing that what ever I order will be clean. The customer service is kind. For some reason it seems like they don't have a consistent menu with each item described in detail. I really wish they did, I believe that would make the experience a bit more seamless, but other than that, I love this place. read more

Great food items but... THEY ARE NEVER OPEN ON TIME!!! I come here, religiously, once a week and they're ALWAYS late to open. Today was just another hit or miss. The sign says "Open 9:30-6:30," what gives? Is there perhaps another 9:30 that I was unhip to.  This is compounded by the fact that I do not live  close, so just simply leaving if they are no-shows is a waste of my time and gasoline.So, I will often wait up to FIFTEEN MINUTES, after the posted opening hours before anyone shows up. Today it was TEN MINUTES...Getting Better but still LATE! Beyond that, I was recently offered "an item from the bakery case, in exchange for a review.." by one of the employees. Uh, you're kidding, right? I try to buy local/Mom and Pop but Whole Foods and Arden's are a few blocks away, in either direction and they're open....ON TIME. Would give this place a 6 if I could. Never had a less than stellar item from Strive. Usually getting items from the Saturday local farmers market but their store in sandy springs has additional menu items and open early on Sundays. Plus super cute. The All-In Brunch Experience at Strive Foods made the girls weekend so yummy. If you forced me to choose the tops picks and recommendations, I'd say the tacos (we ordered extra), the French toast, the ocean blue smoothie, lemon loaf, and the banana bread stole the show. I was on a hiking expedition in the Chattahoochee River area, and after 5 miles of hiking I was looking for a vegan restaurant nearby...and so I discovered Strive! Fabulous vegan spot. High quality food. And definitely a welcoming atmosphere with a very cool eating area if you decide to eat in. If you're doing takeout, they have all sorts of vegan takeout options in their refrigerator. My only beef (pun intended!) is that I don't live closer to them. I will definitely be back. read more

Wow! What an amazing place. I came in today for the first time and ate their vegan and gluten free black bean enchiladas. It was so yummy, satisfying, and had a perfect amount of heat. In fact, I bought two more to go and took them to a party that I was going to later that night. The dessert spread and assortment of drinks was equally impressive and Strive became my new favorite place in Atlanta today. Everything is vegan, gluten free and extremely delicious. Don't pass this place up. However, one draw back is that there isn't a lot of interior seating. I imagine that they will probably expand to a larger location soon. read more

This place offers a wide variety of raw vegan and vegan entrees, desserts, and sides. It is located right next to the movie theater, towards the back of the plaza. It is standing room only, so you'll have to your food to go. I was impressed by their offerings--everything looked good! I ultimately chose the buffalo cauliflower pizza and the raspberry cheesecake bars. Both were raw and delicious. The reason I gave three stars is because of the ambiance. If you look behind the registers, there is a bunch of miscellaneous stuff everywhere, and I mean stuff. Food carts, packaging, you name it. Also, some of the pastries were just sitting out for display, uncovered and available for anyone to smell, touch or nibble on. They were also handing out samples, but there were no tongs or napkins to grab them with. I was concerned about cleanliness of this place, but I ate the food, and I'm still alright :) if you're in the area, I'd suggest you give it a try. read more

This place has some great vegan food! It is a little hard to find, but it's definitely a hidden gem. I got the raw vegan lasagna, "snickers" bites, and brownies. Let me start by saying this is the best vegan lasagna I've ever had. I've had a couple vegan lasagna before but they were so focused on "health" that there was no flavor to savor and enjoy. Strive Foods really went out of their way to make sure you eat healthy while also treating your tastebuds. The snickers bites are absolutely delicious and aren't just called snickers for no reason. I definitely feel remnants of my snickers eating days while snacking on these lol. Now the brownies definitely weren't my favorite only because they leave a slight "spicy" feeling on my tongue. I would assume it's from the cacao, but I'm not sure. Don't get me wrong they're not terrible and I'm sure others would find these delicious! Very small storefront in between the movie theater and fizz. Walked in and was greeted by two friendly ladies preparing fresh foods. It smelled amazing (they were making meatless burgers with a bunch of yummy veggies, black beans and yummy smelling ingredients). There was a selection of pizzas, salads, sweets, vegan cheese and more. The owner offered a sample of her last date truffle and I knew it was a match...it was OMG amazing! The owner was preparing avocado toast for a client and offered to make me one. It was prepared so beautifully with edible flowers and a bunch of yummy veggies and vegan feta cheese - filling and absolutely delicious! Friendly people, excellent quality wholesome food. I really did love the food here, and I'm always looking for a place that can do vegan food well. But if you have a gluten sensitivity or celiac, beware...I was told everything was gluten free and since I have bad reactions to gluten, that's important to me. Well, it turns out the oats they use (which are in most items) are not certified gluten free, and therefore are likely cross contaminated with gluten. It took a couple times of me getting sick before I realized this was the case. I then confirmed it with staff. This should 100% be noted on packaging, or at least stop telling people everything is gluten free. read more

Strive offers a huge variety of tasty, healthy food. I have tried a lot of menu items and have been very pleased with all. My family loves the plant based food and I've ordered in advance for special dinners. The store has relaxed seating and a comfortable, artistic flair. It is self service (food in coolers) and the employees are very kind and helpful. You can't go wrong with any dishes from savory to sweet. Strive Foods even offers occasional cooking classes to learn how to make wonderful PB food in your own kitchen. First I want to say the food was absolutely delicious. I am not vegan but am gluten and dairy free so wanted to try this place out. Plus the line at the farmers market was wrapped around the corner so I figured it must be good. And it was! I got the Buffalo cauliflower pizza with what I guess was a cauliflower crust? The flavors were really good and blended well. I was afraid it would be bland. So why 3 stars? 1. I almost didn't even buy anything once it was my chance. I don't know if it was the owner or just a worker but I found her to be incredibly rude. After chatting it up with every single customer before me (including the one next to me who was being helped by someone else), she barely said 3 words to me and was staring at her phone. I'd never been there so asked her what was the most popular among customers. She could not (or would not answer). I tried asking about a couple of the items to see what was on it but she seemed annoyed so I just got what was recommended to me by another customer. I should've walked away based on service alone but I had already stood in line for 20 minutes. 2. Another star off for uncleanliness. The lady was not wearing a mask and wore the same gloves to handle the food and payment (cash/cards). Gross! Additionally, none of the customers had on masks which I was ok with but they were leaning over the food to talk to the lady. This. Place. Is. INCREDIBLE. We were in the neighborhood and now I'm seriously considering moving just to have a place like this closer to us (we live in O4W). I want to share my story to all the meat eaters out there. After watching the Netflix "GAME CHANGER" it opened my eyes to why I feel sluggish and why I have joint pains. I thought vegan food was going to be terrible but STRIVE FOOD has changed my beliefs towards VEGAN Food. I couldnt believe how delicious and what I was missing in my life. I just turned Vegan yesterday and now I'm hooked. I thrive to eat Strive Food. The best part of this food is NO added sugar. I wish they had a meal prep I would sign up in a heartbeat. I had bought the buffalo cauliflower pizza, Margarita Pizza, and Caesar Kale Salad. I asked the cashier, "Are you sure this isn't chicken or meat." But in fact it was buffalo cauliflower so good. Who here like to put a lot of dressing on their salad well guess what you dont need to feel guilty cause the KALE SALAD isnt what you think it is.
