Tell ya one thing - I will absolutely never be back. $8.15 ($7.50 plus tax) for two eggs with bacon on a roll? That's obscene. Especially seeing as the menu lists two eggs with bacon & cheese for $7.30 plus tax... so, I'm being charged more for a sandwich with no cheese? Make it make sense. The sandwich also had only two slices of bacon on the entire thing. For these prices? That's gross. I also asked three times while ordering not to cut my sandwich, and of course it was cut. Never again.

A community staple. Clean. Quick. Efficient. Expansive menu. Everything is top tier. Sometimes I come in for their cream cheese and use for the week. The veggie is my fave. A big time yea for me.

This establishment is by far the worst I've ever encountered. Living just 0.2 miles away, I've given them multiple chances due to the convenience, but almost every single time, something is wrong with the order. Usually, we end up dealing with missing items or simply not eating what they got wrong. When we've called to let them know, the response is always a casual "Sorry, would you like to come back and exchange it?" Today, after yet another incorrect order, I was told, "We think we gave you the right sandwich, but in the future, we can open it in front of you to check." The lack of accountability was astonishing. I realized I've been the sucker here, spending around $50 every time for my family of five, only to receive rude service and consistent mistakes. I told them I wouldn't be returning, and their response was a simple, "Okay, thank you." This establishment is not well kept at this point, careless, and completely unprofessional. Save yourself the hassle--there are far better places to spend your money. - F-Dale lifer

    Not good

Terrible bagel shop The right is an everything bagel, the left is a sesame bagel. The 2 everything nagels we got were literally 30% smaller. Not sure what the benefit of this is but it sucks. The bagels are gummy, just low quality, the tuna tastes old. Just not good.

I went in for 2 sandwiches and they were excellent. The bagel were soft and sizeable. The amount of food was substantial. The associate that took my orders was very engaged and careful that I get what I ordered. The decor was simple and clean. I will recommend if your in the area try it and see if I am correct.

What a fantastic find on our visit to the Island this weekend. Fast service, friendly staff, perfect bagels and hot coffee. Enough seating for all their customers and a great array of spreads and menu items. So glad we stopped in!

When I go to LeChe,which is conveniently across the street from Stuff A Bagel, I always stop there for a snack. I love their chocolate croissant and their bagels. They are still practicing social distancing, they have plexiglass where you place & pickup orders and also their tables at each end have plexiglass and they are also adequately distanced from one another. It is on Main Street Farmingdale NY where there are so many great places to shop, eat or just window shop. I hear that they have great paninis! Next time, I will try a panini.

The service was fantastic; our server was very attentive with drinks and took our orders promptly. The whole family loved the food! We ordered the Huevos Rancheros, almond pancakes, cannoli French toast, eggs Benedict, a grilled cheese sandwich, and the Salvadoran platter. Everything we get here is consistently delicious, zero complaints! The drinks were great too, including the watermelon juice, regular coffee, and lattes. We couldn't be happier with the service and the food. I will always recommend My Grandmother's Kitchen for brunch!

They asked for drink orders and we were left alone for a long time until the drinks arrived. Though we were ready to order, the server just dropped off our drinks and went to bring another table upstairs. I went down to the counter to get someone to take our order, and it took nearly an hour before our order was in (and even then, they took the order of the second table before taking our party's order). It was almost an hour and a half since we entered the restaurant when the food finally arrived at our table, and then it took so long for someone to come with our check and process payment, we went down to the counter to do it. During this time, another family was seated upstairs and left due to not being attended to. This caused big delays in our day and I had to cancel an appointment because we spent over two hours at this restaurant when we didn't want to. That said, food was good. I got the lemon blueberry pancake, which was a little bit gummy but mostly tasted fine. My brother got the mangu, which is kinda hard to find around here, let alone on the menu of a breakfast brunch restaurant. It was my brother's first time having it, and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Besides him choosing scrambled eggs instead of fried eggs, it was very classic mangu breakfast. The real crabmeat omelet was another hit-- crabmeat was so real there were little pieces of shell lining-- really ambitious and deliciously executed. The menu is really fun and the food was overall good. Again, I think the very slow service wasn't on purpose and it's because they didn't anticipate such a large crowd on a Friday, but I would say run if they try to seat you upstairs and you're the only ones up there. Be prepared to wait for a long time if you want the reward of nice food.

That's the kind of place you'll want to linger long after your plate is empty. We had French Onion Soup, and it was everything you want from a classic. Rich, deeply caramelized onion broth with incredible savory flavor, topped with a toasted baguette that soaked up just enough broth while still keeping a little bite. The bubbling layer of melted mozzarella and Swiss stretched with every spoonful. There was a flavor I couldn't place, but had me thinking herbaceous Italian seasonings, which isn't typically the flavor profile of French onion soup, gave it a unique flavor and made every bite more irresistible. The Asian Chicken Salad was anything but ordinary. Crisp romaine and crunchy red cabbage were tossed with tender grilled chicken, crunchy cashews, and fresh scallions. We got the sesame ginger vinaigrette on the side, which struck the perfect balance of nutty, tangy, and slightly sweet. Every forkful had a fresh crunch followed by a burst of bright, savory flavor that kept us coming back for another bite. The Chicken Taco Salad arrived in a crispy tortilla shell that was almost too pretty to break into, but we're glad we did. Juicy marinated chicken, creamy avocado, fresh pico de gallo, sweet corn and black bean salsa, chopped greens, and a generous blend of Mexican cheeses were all tied together with a smoky chipotle-lime vinaigrette. Cool sour cream mellowed the gentle heat, creating the perfect combination of creamy, smoky, zesty, and fresh in every bite.

My brother has always wanted to try this place, but we never had a chance to actually step foot inside the Library Cafe. As the name suggests, the restaurant sits at the site of the old town library, and the bar area has tall shelves and a rolling ladder to pay homage to the name. To maximize the restaurant week menu, three of us tried different appetizers. The ahi tuna taco was the best of the lot- crispy shell and nicely prepared tuna filling. The Thai calamari was a little too overcooked and the sweet sauce was cloying. I didn't get to try too much of the French onion soup because my dad almost inhaled it whole, but it was gooey and comforting. I had the honey-soy glazed salmon with broccolini. The salmon was a little dry, but the glaze and cashew went well with it. Maybe a touch of spice could have improved the dish. The broccolini was nicely textured and not too bitter. My mom's fish and chips were underwhelming, though the not-proper "chips" were well fried and seasoned. It was not served with vinegar either. My brother had the Buddha bowl which he enjoyed and felt was a good health conscious option. I did love that they allowed my dad -- who was not feeling too well-- to order just an entree while the rest of the table had the restaurant week menu. I know some restaurants require all members of the table to order off the prix fixe menu sometimes. He had the burger, which was cooked very precisely to medium-rare. We did have dessert though we were stuffed at this point. The sticky toffee pudding cake was lovely, moist, and so decadent without being overly heavy. I ordered the wild berry cheesecake, and while the clearly house made berry compote was a nice touch, it was just a little underwhelming next to the sticky toffee pudding. Overall, we had a good time at the Library Cafe, and though service was a little slow due to sudden rush of diners, it was a fun little weekday dinner. I did see signs for their happy hour, which I'd love to try-- especially their cocktails named after writers!

Would think apple cider pineapple juice maybe some heat as well would make this slaw next level. Again the taco was good in cooking standards but lacked any flavor.
