I bought two tires from Sullivan Tires. I was charged $248 for the tires. The installation was $67.98. The vehicle alignment was $114.99, for a total of $427.72. Before paying the bill, I was told I would need ball joints, which I would do in the near future. I drove the car out of their driveway and the right wheel was wobbling so badly I was afraid to drive it. It was also pulling. The car had done neither of these when I brought it in. I immediately went back to the shop. The shop owner, Dakotah Killam, made a lot of excuses. He basically tried to bamboozle me. I am not someone that you can bamboozle. He finally looked at the car again. Then tried to correct it but it was still wobbling but not as bad. The pulling was corrected. Then he "let it slip", that they had never aligned it. The alignment that I paid $114.99 for! I went to the Honda dealership across the street to have them look at my car. It is going to cost me $189 for a diagnostic test to determine what is now wrong, plus whatever it will cost to fix it. My car did not have this problem when I handed it over to Sullivan Tire. Not only did they screw up my car, they tried to rip me off for $114.99. I'll be in touch with the Better Business Bureau when they open this Monday. read more

I bought 2 Kuhmo tires for the front for my 2010 HHR. Tires replaced and when I drove on the highway it would shake going over 60. Never has this car done that. Bring it back to rebalance, still shakes. Bring it back again to rebalance and the shaking is not as bad but I realize because I have a tire pressure moniter system that they only moved the tires to the rear! Brought it to a independant tire business in Salem. Balanced the tires and its smooth like before. Emailed Sullivan directly and never heard from anyone. read more

Brought it in they did a road check and under carriage inspection and determined nothing was wrong perhaps only differential wear on my rear tires probably not even related to my imagined sounds. Team Sullivan in Lynn is the absolute best. Had a nail in my tire early Saturday AM before they opened, and do not want to deal with roadside assistance. Parked in lot before opening, and right when Matt came in he told me to hang tight and right when they open they will take of us. He and Mehtab took us in right way brought our car in and fixed in 30 minutes. I just could have not asked for more pleasant people and better experience. My daughter went in for a tire replacement lost through a road hazzard. She asked the technician and then the manager to replace the tire with the same brand tire and type tire. The Manager told her the tire was no longer available and they could substitute another tire they had on hand. I called customer service for the tire company and that type of tire was readily available and they sent her to another location to have her tire replaced. It appears that they are not truthful about their stock and apparently take advantage of young women to make a fast buck. read more

Disappointed in the customer service. I made an appointment, but it took them 1.5 hours to replace 4 tires and a new battery, even though there was only one other customer in the waiting room. Sales clerk included a $60 item relating to sensor replacement when I didn't have sensors on tires. He apologized, I suppose errors do happen. Then I noticed he included a $64 "life time" warranty on my bill that I hadn't asked for. When I questioned him, he said he was sure he explained it to me. Not true. I made an appointment for an oil change and service check, right before the Thanksgiving holiday. When I arrived they couldn't find my appointment, and made a big deal about how I had not called them directly. They claimed that the appointments made through the central line, (I'd placed the appointment through their website and responded to a call back), "got lost" frequently. They did finally agree to service the car, but I felt that the check they gave it was not very thorough. I thought they would recommend wiper replacement, but they didn't. I got estimates on 4 new tires completely installed which included balancing , stems, tire disposal, and a front end alignment from NTB, Pep Boys, Town Fair Tire, and Sullivan Tire. The tires were 245/65/R17 tires for my 2008 Toyota Highlander warrantied for 60,000 miles. The best price, along with the best quality product, came from Sullivan Tire. Although they don't offer the convenience of being open until 9 pm and close at 6 pm it was well worth the value in having them do the job. I scheduled my appointment for 9:30 am and was told my vehicle would be ready in 90 minutes and they were true to their word. The service desk reviewed the entire invoice with me and I was 100% satisfied with the work and the charges. By the way, the were the lowest price right out of the gate, and they beat NTB and Pep Boys. Town Fair Tire in Saugus expected me to go and get a printed invoice and bring it back to them in order for them to offer a competetive price. I don't "WORK" for Town Fair Tire and it was obvious to me that they didn't want to work for my business. Save yourself some time and money while getting the best quality products and service. I'll buy my tires from Sullivan Tire from now on and this was the first time I purchased a product from them. read more

I've been using Sullivan Tires in Lynn for the past 12 years. I find their service to be excellent, and tire prices fair and competitive. You do need to be aware of what your car actually needs vs. what is suggested to you, sometimes not absolutely necessary at present but in the future. Their service techs are excellent, know their stuff, and usually can do most routine things while you wait. This was the third time the same oxygen sensor failed and was replaced under warranty with a higher quality sensor I requested. The oil pan and gasket leak was fixed with a new pan and gasket and left to cure longer this time, the oil was also changed free of charge. An L1 tech drove down from NH to diagnose what may be causing it to fail three times, no other issues were found from his diagnostic. I do have a steering wheel vibration indicating a rough idle and very noticeable to me. It's possibly engine related but the diagnostic revealed nothing. I wrote to corp website and Ryan the Lynn store supervisor contacted me to bring it back in and another L1 ASE tech will try to track down the cause, no luck issue still unresolved. I realize I'm driving a computer on wheels and many parts and components must work in sync so either something, probably another of the 20 or so sensors ugh! is about to fail or is a very dirty part with carbon deposit buildup. They did try there best to find the problem and everyone was extra courteous. I will go back for other work if needed and rely on the curtesy dropoff and pickup convenience. read more

Took my 2000 BMW for struts, shocks, oil gasket and i was told my brakes and rotors needed to be changed. I agreed. In the past they had done excellent work and i trusted them, until i went to pick up my car and the front grill had been broken, the inner left signal lights, and my hood was misaligned. Day one they told me they would make it right, day two; they told me they would only fix partial, and day three they told me the damage was not their fault that it was due to my car being an old model and that the parts were probably worn, that they had seen it happen plenty of times before. The manager said he would stand with that final decision of it not being their responsibility and gave me the regional manager's number where he pretty much told me they had a conversation about it in depth. I don't believe when I get in touch with the regional its going to be a pleasant conversation, so I'll be looking for a lawyer soon. Regardless the previous service they had given before, they are liars and practice business unethically. Ask me? Stay clear unless you want to gamble with your car. I only gave them one star because i think that's the lowest rating you can give. read more

We came into Sullivan Tire after having a flat, and decided to get all 4 replaced since they were close to the end of their tread life anyways. Mehtab and the other man working up front (I believe Cliff was his name) were so friendly and helpful. Our jack had broken, so we had to wait in the rain for over 2 hours for AAA to come before we could get into the store. Upon telling Cliff, he said they would have been happy to come help us since we were so close to the store and they weren't too busy that day. Definitely something I'll keep in mind for next time. The model of tires we had weren't in stock at the Lynn store, but they were able to get our new tires from the Taunton location by the time we were made it in. Absolutely awesome that these guys went out of their way to accommodate our request like that. We got into the store at about 3:45 on a Saturday, and they did the full install that day, with alignment and balancing, and had to close up late (after 5:00) as a result. I apologized for keeping them late, but they were all adamant that the customer comes first. This was such a great customer experience that I completely forgot about how mad I was for getting a flat in the first place. Highly recommend these guys! read more

I have a special Chevrolet tire which required a new sensor and stem and the attendant said they could fix the tire so I brought it down. After waiting for about two hours I was refused service on the tire because the manager and attendant thought the tire was in bad shape. Instead of recommending one tire they said I needed to replace all four right away.Well I just wanted the sensor replaced and didn't want a new tire. I was trying to fix the tire because I was riding on a donut which is more dangerous. They were rude and abrupt and didn't offer me the chance to buy one tire and was trying to shove four new tires down my throat. That is so unprofessional and not tailored to the customers needs. Then because I didn't want what they wanted for me, the rudely threw my tire back in my car and told me to leave. They sited that they couldn't fix my tire for safety reasons. What is more safe, me riding on a donut or Sullivan tire fixing my tire so I can be road complaint and safe? Also, you just lost my business for the very same 4 tires that I could have come back to purchase off of you. I just want the manager and his attendant disciplined and shown that the customer is always right and deserves better treatment than that. They left my car our front and then when I wanted to talk to another worked there, the manager came out and told the worker not to talk to me. I am sooooo upset. By the way. I was recently gifted an older used car that had some minor issues that needed to be addressed in order for it to be road ready, First, it needed a new battery. Second, two of the tires had slow leaks. I looked into different options to "band-aid" the tires but ultimately decided i needed to just replace the tires. I was able to get the car running with a jump start and get enough air into the tires to drive a few miles. Since the car was in Lynn I decided to bring it to one of the dozens of places right in Lynn... These guys were great. The wait time wasn't very long at all. The battery and tires were readily available and didn't have to be special ordered or anything. The rep who took care of me sold me on replacing all 4 tires instead of the two that really needed it. The other two tires were really losing tread badly and it be a matter of months before they needed to get changed as well. They set me up with a bundle deal of battery and 4 new tires. I had previously purchased four tires from Sullivan Tire in Norwood Ma less than 6 months ago. I have originally brought it there to have one of my tires services and was informed that I needed to replace all four. I spent between $700-800 based on their professional consult. Two weeks later one of my tires went flat. I was extremely concerned and confused. When I contacted the Sullivan Tire in Norwood Ma, I spoke with their Manager Jessica Rodriguez. She was very rude, short, and unhelpful. To the point that she hung up on me. I sent a complaint to Sullivan Tire regarding my tire situation and experience. Due to the nature of which I was treated at that time, I was informed to go to a location closer to my residence, Lynn. When I went, I was treated with kindness and curiosity, which I now know was due to my complaint. The issue with the tire that went flat had to do with a pressure valve. My tire was replaced at no cost to me and I purchased insurance coverage for all four tires for peace of mind. That was less than 6 months ago. This past weekend my tire pressure signal came on. I put air in the tire but the next day same thing. I called Sullivan Tire in Lynn first thing Monday morning and get an appointment for 10:30. I bring my car in and they have the paper work ready and I give them the key. I was informed that my car would be brought in in about 20 mins. I take a seat and watch the programming with the other two customers that were waiting. Time goes by and they call Paul, I correct them and let them know my name is Paule. The manger informs me that my tires are not serviceable and that I have a nail on one of them. I did not understand why my tires where not serviceable. He then tells me I have curb damage from hitting so many curbs that I have gashed my tires down to the wire. I tell him that I have insurance on the tires and he says that it does not cover curb damage. I am baffled and confused at what he is telling me, as I have not hit any curbs. He then offers to show me so that I can see what he is talking about. His was short and his tone frustrated. So I follow him to my vehicle all while letting him know that I have only had the tires for less than 6 months and did not hit any curbs. He then proceeds to show me the damage to my rims that I had been there previously. I inform him of this and then he then points to the two gashes in the tire and stated that this is due to hitting curbs. He then shows me the tire that I needed the servicing on and shows me the nail. He says that the nail can be services and again points to the damage on my rims and then to a gash in the tire. He says that he cannot service the tire due to the gash which he again accuses me of doing by hitting the curb. I insist to him that I have not hit any curbs but before I can further explain he yells at me, "then explain to me how did this happen" while pointing at the gash. I yell back, "I don't f#$hing know." He then points his finger in my face and yells at me not to swear at him." I yell and point back for him not to point his finger at me. He then yells to his people to take my car down and yells at me to get out of his store. I am livid and have to follow him back to the front of the store. I am pissed and demand my keys. He then says his employees have to get my car down at which point I ask how long it will take. He takes a call takes to his employees. I then ask him again. He looks but does not give me an answer. I tell him if you are going to kick me out and treat me like ***** give me my keys so I can leave. He then goes outside, comes back, tells me never to come into his store again. I said a few vulgar choice words to him and after he sets my keys down on the counter, I grab them and leave. I am 5'2" 140-pound woman, I do not need a tall hefty man yelling and pointing his finger in my face. That is beyond inappropriate and unprofessional. If I were, an employee of his that would be an HR issue. Therefore, what makes him think he can act/behave that way with a customer? read more
