I had an odd experience here. I just started to get my lashes done this year so I'm fairly new to the game, but I only come here because they're in my city, and fairly good at doing natural lashes. However I went to my appointment the other day with very very light residue from my last set of lashes from them and I was told they were going to remove. Im telling you guys I had such a minuscule amount of lashes leftover on my eyes so I was shocked when they were done they tried to charge me $10 extra on top of the $60 for the very natural eyelashes that I get. Usually before you offer any service, you should always let the customer know that it will be an additional charge. I've never gotten a removal in my life so this was new information to me. I told her if that was the case, I would've respectfully declined and pulled off the 5 little lashes I had on my eyes myself to avoid being charged for that. It was embarrassing because she acted like I was supposed to know this information. She said " it's always been 10 for removal" like I knew that. And it was quite sad because I've only come here to give them business to get my lashes done. I don't know if I'll return but I hope that they will learn to communicate that better. I purchased a Groupon for a full set of individual lashes and found out their full set includes only 100 lashes (50 per eye), something that was never mentioned in the Groupon offer. They immediately tried to up sell, but I refused their bait-and-switch tactics. I ended up with less lashes than when I went in, plus they charged me $10 to remove existing lashes. I came here almost a year ago (whoops, time flies!) and had a really good experience! It was my first time getting my lashes done, and everyone made me feel very comfortable. I was wearing a mask because I was nervous about COVID, and Mia, the person who did my lashes for me, did not ask me to remove it and worked around it. They speak Mandarin here, and when they found out I could understand it, they all treated me like family and complimented me a lot, which I had no complaints about :) It really reminded me of being home with everyone doting on me. Still, even before that, their service was top notch! I was not 100% satisfied with my lashes after the initial application, so they had me come back and fixed everything for me for free. I'm not in a financial situation where I can keep getting my lashes done, but if I could, I would definitely come back here because the customer service is so great. I used a Groupon coupon, but they said paying directly with them is cheaper and more beneficial for them, so I recommend doing that! read more
