The calamari is so good, made with tempura batter and unlike any calamari I've had before (and I've had a lot of calamari at various places). The sushi chef is very personable also. Uuuuuuuugh this place is soooo delicious! They have a pretty large sushi menu and everything I've tasted so far has been so good. They usually have a couple different specials to offer which come with a lot of food for a good price. The best part about this restaurant is the service! I do not know the woman's name that served us last time but she was SO unbelievably sweet. She went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and she was so kind and attentive to my kids. Very nice staff and very friendly. We ordered Yakisoba and Unfortunately everybody at the table thought it tasted like canned spaghetti. The appetizers were very good and the salad was good the rest of the meal fell short and everybody eating at the table was disappointed with their main course. I am too annoyed to be eloquent. I asked for extra wasabi and extra soy sauce. They gave me A bottle of wasabi half the size of a tennis ball and five tiny packets of soy sauce that barely equaled 2 tablespoons. The $15 monster roll did not have any avocado or unagi sauce as it stated on the menu, which was big reason I ordered it. I have no doubts it would've been a delicious roll if they would have made it as the menu described. Instead it was an expensive, plain, unimaginative pile of fish wrapped in seaweed and rice. The spicy salmon roll also had no avocado. Grrr. I ordered creamy scallops and they gave me plain. I feel there are few things more frustrating than getting screwed over on your to go food order because they know darn well you are not going to drive all the way back to the restaurant after you have gotten home and realized you didn't get what you ordered. It was fresh and good quality, but that doesn't do a whole Lotta good if you don't care for the ingredients. read more

The spicy tuna & spicy salmon is never spicy to be honest so I asked my father in law to get a side of hot sauce . He requests a side of hot sauce and the cook or cashier REFUSES to comply. It's just a side of hot sauce man. Your spicy sushi ain't even spicy... You give 7 packets of soy sauce but not 1 hot sauce side/ packet?! Improve your spicy level of sushi please or start giving out hot sauce sides/ packets like you do with soy sauce. This post may sound like a joke , but it is not. Food was yummy but our server did have a rough time serving our big party of 9. He said he was still new so he handled himself ok considering. They let us bring in a cake for my 5 year old's birthday so she was happy to get her udon soup and eat cake. We did have to ask several times for some items and food orders got messed up, but I would go back again simply because they people are really nice and the food was yummy despite the hiccups. read more

Ordered via Ubereats when our usual place was closed temporarily. My husband got the beef bulgogi and I got the chirashi. We shared the Brussel sprouts appetizer. Everything was pretty good, but I would avoid anything fried like the Brussels as they did not do well as take out (arrived soggy but I don't blame the restaurant). I thought the chirashi was a generous selection of fish and a nice variety. Husband enjoyed the bulgogi. AMAZING VISIT...I have visited many sushi restaurants since arriving to Washington, and I left un-pleased. Sushi Ari has the best...i mean best sushi, hands down. Probably the best sushi I've had in a very long time. My hubby never eats raw sushi, but we ordered the "Heart Attack" roll and he practically ate the whole thing himself. We even ordered an extra one to go, it was so delicious. In regards to hot food, the miso soup and yakisoba were both very good as well. As if the food wasn't good enough, the server was absolutely wonderful. She didn't intrude, but was always available. She even gave us ice for our sushi on the way home, since we mentioned we were heading other places besides home. Great all around. read more
