SWEETEST PEOPLE that work there, but I'm sorry, as long as that place has been there, it has not been cleaned once. I wanted to take pictures, but i was on date night, and trying not to focus on it, but we ordered our rolls, paid. I went to the bathroom, and the bathroom was so vile, I came back out and asked my husband if we could please just leave. I'm not taking about a little bit of dirt or dust, it was mud, and inches of filth, which made me feel like behind the counter was super unsanitary. The smell was rotten. All sushi places have a smell, but it smelt vile, before i even walked in, and I told my husband, I think this is a bad idea. It is so filthy, it needs to be power washed, and like a deep industrial cleaning, the entire store. We got the rolls, they tasted like Kroger sushi. Not bad, but not great, the sauce the put on it, I'm not sure what was in it, but I had a severe allergic reaction. About 15 min after consuming, my stomach immediately, drastically became so bloated I looked 7 months pregnant. I'm 98 lbs, and i legit looked 7 months pregnant. However, i do have lupus and it could of been a reaction to something I shouldn't of ate, that I did. Again, the people are so sweet, I feel so bad, but that is the most filthy disgusting place i think I've ever eaten in my life. They really need to clean it, I'm assuming all the good reviews, did not get to see the conditions of the inside Please clean this place for sanitary reasons it's very important a restaurant is clean.

The California roll here is good but I wouldn't call it great. It is less expensive which is nice and I loved the pickled ginger, tangy and spicy. But I'm not sure I would come here again unfortunately.

A coworker order from here not long ago and so we decided to go get some food there on a saturday afternoon. It's a very sterile ikea bland like interior. There was one guy working and we ordered 3 types of sushi and a bugolgi bowl and he said it would be 15-20 minutes so we sat down and talked while we waited for food. The atmosphere is like being in a classroom while you're taking a test. There was zero sound. I actually turned on my pandora on low because it was so uncomfortably silent as we were the only people there. One delivery guy did come in to pick up food but that was it. I would not choose to eat here again. We would call ahead and pick up. Too awkward for us. I have never had sushi on styrofoam plates but it all tastes the same so we didn't mind. It's cheap fresh sushi. We will definitely eat here again just not in the restaurant.

This place is dank, normally when i'm hungover I can't eat sushi which is upsetting because I love sushi, butttt this place is different. I could eat eat like 8 rolls and it'd be fine, phenomenal. read more

Newly opened sushi restaurant specialized in take away. Very good selection. Fresh ingredients. The sushi me and my daughter had was very tasty. I will defenitely go back. The prices are also very good, so you can really try different things. Try this out, it's worth it read more

I show up 30 min before closing. I know it's a bit late, but no one ( I mean 0 customers) was in the place so I figured I had plenty of time to order, eat, and get out of their hair. I order, requested to dine in ( cause they do take-out too) then wait. Turns out they are getting a lot of to go orders, which is fine, I understand things get busy. Then another walk in customer comes in 15 min after me, orders, eats, leaves, and I'm still waiting...35 min later. Of course it's after closing time by now. When my order finally is ready it's already prepared in a to- go box. I had a long day, wasn't going to make it home that night, so I really had hoped to eat at a table like had planned 35 min prior. I probably would have been ok with it if they had at least asked me if it was ok if j took it to go. Didn't apologize for wait either. So I ate in my car. Plus the order was wrong, so that flipping sucked. Couldn't even go in to tell them. read more

Great little sushi shop. It's small and only one person working both the register and making the sushi, so service can be a little slow. The person working does work very hard, is nice, & attentive. The sushi rolls are very good and can't beat the price. They really have great rolls at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend and look forward to coming again. Try the crunch roll it was delish. read more

This place is SO good! Sadly, we moved and it's not down the street anymore (which is probably good considering we ate here at least twice a week!). The staff is VERY friendly, and the food is very good and affordable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to take some sushi home for dinner and a movie! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Sushi Go. My wife and I visited for the first time and were blown away by the menu. Not only the creativity in the selection and pairing of ingredients but they also include pictures of every roll next to the description so you can see what it will look like. What is even more impressive is they are accurate representations of the rolls too! Not like in most places where the actual food delivered looks nothing like the advertised photos. These guys put a lot of pride and effort in their product. We went with mostly tuna-based rolls this trip and were blown away by the freshness. I will admit to being a bit skeptical of a to-go sushi joint in a Walmart parking lot but I could not have been more wrong! This place is outstanding! We will be recommending Sushi Go to all our friends and neighbors. read more

I just went there for the first time today. The prices are cheap but the sushi quality is low. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant was clean. The atmosphere felt like a yogurt shop. The rice was dry and the taste was grocery store quality or maybe a little worse. It was edible but, when I go out for sushi, I want good stuff. When I get specialty rolls, I want to be amazed. read more

Very surprised by the great rolls and nigiri, go try this place out! We tried the Elvis roll and Alaskan roll with an order of white tuna and salmon nigiri, and they were all delicious! Prices are lower and quality is better than most sushi restaurants we have been to. read more

Good for the price! I usually get the crab lover and the lion King. I always ask for extra sauce otherwise I feel like the rice takes over the roll. But overall, really good rolls and great service! I've been in about a dozen times and I will continue to get sushi here. read more

I have ordered from Sushi Go 5 times now and the food has always been quite good. The downside is that they seem to always forget anything that you ask for special. I have also never received a coupon or discount in 3 months yet I have texted the number they ask for in order to receive coupons. Oh Well. Expect $30. per person but food is good as I said. read more

Food is okay. Not as much variety as some other places. Also asked for some extra sauce and they seemed to not want to give any saying everything was in the bag. It wasn't though, which is why it's called "extra". Update: Went back a few months later...what I got was actually very tasty. Got a regular Philadelphia roll and the special Lion King roll. Great place for a quick sushi fix. This was the first time here and I was impressed. Good, fresh sushi with plenty of meat and a reasonable amount of rice. Very pleasant chef. The price was just right: basic rolls are $4.95 and all special rolls are $7.95. I'll be returning for lunch. I ordered the Crunch roll and Dynamite at the suggestion of the chef. I am rating this a 5 because it is a good combination of quality and affordability. If you are willing to spend $50 on sushi you can probably get better , but this is decent sushi at a much lower price. We ordered 4 specialty rolls on a Saturday afternoon and all of them were very fresh ,well constructed and tasty. Those four rolls and two drinks were $30 and the portions were large. They were all good and I would reorder any one of them. The other rolls I saw that afternoon looked just as good. This is a good neighborhood sushi place and I'm glad we gave it a try. Will do so again read more

Hubby is off today so thought we'd just 'hang out' before picking up the kids from school. Someone mentioned Sushi Go so thought we'd check it out. (McKinney Ranch and Lake Forest--SW corner...in Walmart shopping area) We were pleasantly surprised by our lunch today. We are definitely picky about sushi, and this will be our 'go to' place for non-special-event sushi. This place is not fancy, but it is fresh and very reasonably priced for the quality. The man who waited on us was very nice and patient. Check it out! We will definitely be going back. I wish I could give it a 4.5 stars. (I never give anything a 5 unless EVERYTHING is perfect...and that takes a few more going back.) read more

The sushi here is very good. They have a great selection of interesting rolls, made fresh and quickly. The portions are generous, and the ingredients are quality. Only complaint so far is that I'm standing outside writing this because they are playing music that is extremely offensive and didn't change it after I mentioned it. Personally, I don't like to be serenaded by songs about "bi***es" and "ni***rs" and sexually explicit lyrics while waiting for my order. Maybe that's just the staff tonight because all other times I've been here hasn't had this problem. So if you're willing to deal with that or get a time with adults running the shop, it's a great place. read more

My husband recommended Sushi Go to me and I just had the chance to try it out tonight. When I came in, the owner was very helpful and explained the menu (as well as provided some recommendations), pricing, and the fact that they deliver after 4 pm (up to 4 miles away). I thought the rolls I ordered were delicious and will absolutely go back. I am looking forward to trying out their delivery service next time. This definitely gets a thumbs up from me. Sushi to go is a new concept for me. I think if you're going to be a fast-food sushi joint, you should have fast-food prices. Too expensive to be served with plastic garnish. I pay the same amount at a sit-down sushi restaurant for twice the quality and amount. Not horrible but not amazing either. If you're in a hurry or just want to take it home, go for it. Otherwise go to a dine-in sushi and have a leisurely visit with a friend over quality. read more

We started off with the Uni+A5 Wagyu sushi and while it was slightly pricey, the quality of the Uni and Wagyu more than made up for the price. It was one of best dishes we had that we evening! Next we got the Sashimi premium tray and let me tell you, the next 20 minutes we were oohing and swooning over each sliver of fish they had served which had come from Japan and many other countries around the world. Next we ordered their Pork Belly skewers which were glazed so beautifully that each piece brought a burst of never experienced before flavors. Certainly a gem of a dish! Next we got the sizzling A5 Wagyu over rice which as hand tossed table side (video added) The flavors and textures in this dish left us in raptures!! Wife wanted some more Sashimi , so we got the Itoyori - Threadfin Bream and the Muki Hotate - Hokkaido Scallops, all of which was to die for !! And to close out we got the Yuzu Crème Brûlée , the perfect closure to such a fantastic meal !! Food was extremely mid - having eaten at many MANY sushi restaurants now, and knowing what we get for what we pay for, maybe it was because the staff wanted us gone The Bluefin Tuna sashimi was great, Yellowtail was very mid (like felt "slimy"which is a weird feeling to have when eating sushi lol), my wife obsesses over Salmon and this time she was being very generous to me with her pieces lol. The double pleasure roll was pretty good, but came too late to the story. Ambience is great. Staff was decent, except our server who was hovering hard. I totally understand you want us out of there, but just dont sit anyone if that is the case - dropping 100+ dollars to have that experience does not feel right. I will stop, I always read these reviews and imagine a crumudgeon somewhere angry and writing this, but this is just a warning to anyone who was gonna take a late night dinner option here!

I also enjoy their tako wasabi, which is always a solid choice. On my last visit, I tried the yuzu hotachi from their specials board, and it was outstanding. The flavors were unique and unlike anything I've had before. I really hope they consider adding it to the regular menu. They also have a wide selection of rolls, so there's something for everyone. Overall, it's a great little sushi spot with high quality fish and a menu that keeps things interesting.

The portion size was generous, the food arrived hot, and the seasoning was delicious! They were patient with us, kind enough to explain unique sauces and foods that was new to us. We're very excited to try more items on their menu!
