My friend and I got this for dinner today. We did one teriyaki beef bento box with gyoza and the other was bulgogi. The salad, miso soup, and gyoza were extremely delicious and flavorful. The meats were cooked perfectly and both flavored extremely well. It was some of the best bulgogi I've had and the teriyaki sauce is amazing. We got a variety of sushi and rolls. I got the Treasure Island roll and it was something I've never tried before. It had mushrooms, onions, tomato, and baked salmon on top. It was so good and all the sushi was fresh. I usually don't like a lot of sushi because it gets too much, but the sushi here had no fishy taste whatsoever. Recently ordered take out from Sushi Loco for dinner and got their Salmon Sashimi, BSC Roll, Crunch Eel Special Roll, 911 Roll, and their Oh Baby Special Roll, and they were all fantastic! What I really like about Sushi Loco is the size of their rolls--you are actually able to fit one whole piece in your mouth and really enjoy the flavors as opposed to most other sushi restaurants where they serve you huge roll pieces that you have to stuff in your mouth or bite in half, which (I think) takes away from tasting all the flavors of the ingredients in the roll. But that's just my preference. No "fishy" taste from either the rolls or the sashimi, which is always a good sign. We didn't end up sick the next morning. I do wish they torched the scallops in the BSC roll a little bit more. They were still slightly cold even after we popped them in the oven for a short time, but it was still definitely tasty. I think my favorite out of the above was the Oh Baby Special Roll, which will definitely be a part of my regular orders from here. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant inside is clean and well-decorated. The small shopping center where the restaurant is located is okay... but don't let that deter you! Hopefully, the addition of more restaurants like Sushi Loco will change that in the near future. What's most important is the food and its quality, which is definitely found here. In addition to Johnny Rebb's, nearby neighbors now have a great sushi place within walking distance! read more

OMG... YUM! I had very low expectations for this sushi spot based on the gringy strip mall, but it was freaking awesome! Our server was pleasant and efficient and the food was out of this world. We ate at Sushi Loco last night. We are always looking for a good eatery and we found one! It's a small family restaurant, but don't let that fool you. The food is fancy and delicious! We started with appetizers, sashimi salad, shrimp tempura and jalapeño bomb. I took pictures of these yummy dishes. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of all our speciality rolls and sashimi combo because I was too busy eating!! Their rice is cooked beautifully and seasoned well, fish is fresh and good portioned cuts, the spicy tuna is seasoned to perfection. What else can I ask for at a Japanese restaurant besides yummy rice and fresh fish? My favorite out of the four rolls we ordered was Oh Baby. It was topped with spicy tuna with a delicious kick of spiciness. We ended up getting chicken teriyaki bowl and some rolls including Oh Baby as a takeout for our kids at home and they approved as well. Ordered sushi and hot entrées to go. I thought the price was great until I opened the containers. Tiny sushi rolls with very little fish and mostly all rice. As for the taste, very bland. The portions of the hot entrée was very tiny; about half the amount from other places around the area and taste was average at best. The spicy scallops roll was the worse I've had. Didn't even taste like scallops and they were not even in a mayonnaise sauce; just tiny cut scallops and a bit of spice. My family and I were all very disappointed and we will not be back. It's a rip off. Shame on the owners for ripping off customers. read more

The sushi is total garbage. I would never recommend this rubbish. I'm in the hospital, and my friend from 100 miles away had 6 pieces of Albacore delivered to me. Pc of a albacore is about 1 inch long if that. Of the 6 pc of albacore had 1⁄4 teaspoon of rice on each 1 you can hardly find the rice. The ginger that came with a taste of stale and each pc was supposed to have ponzu sauce on them And instead came with nothing but wasabi on the side. It cost my friend $17 for 6 tiny pc of albacore and $2.25 for 1 can of coke. I called sushi loco to tell them what it happened and all they tried to do was blame the delivery people. I asked them how do you blame the delivery people for not putting ponzu sauce on the albacore sushi? Rather lose a customer and get a bad report on yelp then it just give me 6 new pc of tiny albacore with a little ponzu sauce on them. This is why companies and restaurants close down post covid for the exact reason sushi loco should shut down. read more
