My friend ordered a side of noodles for her dish and it was literally just butter noddles and when she asked for a sauce to put on them (which she wanted in the first place) she said it was going to be an extra charge and she also didn't list any options of sauce so my friend had to come up with it off the top of her head.

Because we shared, it's hard to pinpoint which specific dish may have caused the issue. However, within hours of eating, we both experienced significant gastrointestinal symptoms. I personally started burping up the taste of pork ramen around 1am and have been dealing with ongoing severe stomach issues since about 2am. It's understandable that foodborne illness can sometimes be difficult to trace to one specific item, but since we shared everything and both became ill the same night, it felt important to share our experience. We hope the restaurant reviews food handling and preparation practices to prevent this from happening to others. Unfortunately, this was a very uncomfortable experience for us and we wont ever eat at this location again.

The quality of the fish and flavor were just not there. The recommended roll's sauce was lemon based and while we had high hopes for it based on the description, it was just not enjoyable and we ended up leaving half of it and going to another restaurant across the way where we had a much more enjoyable experience with both the food and the service. Although we had visited Sushi Song in the past, it had been years since our last visit. I had really hoped to find another local go-to spot. However, the interior really needs some TLC and a deep clean, and the quality of the sushi unfortunately does not warrant a return visit.

I was over the moon when they touted a 12 hour chicken broth soup base. Every ramen shop I have tried to get ramen from has a pork based broth which I do not eat. I'm finally able to have ramen and boy it did not disappoint. The noodles were perfectly al dente and had a satisfying chew with every bite. The broth was so flavorful with the bamboo shoots, bean sprouts and all the slow cooked fats and oil from the chicken broth and the nishu beef, which was tender, thinly sliced rib-eye meat, I suspect. All this topped off with a perfectly cooked soy marinated egg. What an amazing flavor combination. The takoyaki appetizer was also delicious. Biting into the crispy exterior, you are then met with a soft and tender interior filled with chunks of octopus. The balls sat atop Japanese mayo and was drizzled with delicious takoyaki sauce. All it was missing was the katsuobushi which would have elevated the takoyaki flavor. We also ordered the Mala Shrimp which was on the Chinese menu and did not come with rice. That had to be ordered separately. Food came out quick as we were the only patrons apart from another table outside and service was good until a large party sauntered in and the server became inundated with requests.
