I didn't expect to food to blow me away, but it did. Best French Toast and Pancakes in the area no question but the TORNADO GALBI OMURICE??? What were y'all thinking putting this on the menu? I know this place is well loved but I personally think it's a bit overhyped. The millionaire bacon is yummy in small doses, and their egg soufflés are my go to. But at this price point and the wait no matter what day of the week it is usually keeps me away from this place. A lot of out of town folks always want to go here so I inevitably end up there at least a few times a year. The ambiance is cute but loud inside, and outside patio is next to the street so can also get a little loud. Service feels a bit rushed at times, but makes sense given the line waiting for your seat. When we got seated, there were still lots of empty tables and it wasn't too busy, so I was surprised when it took a long time to get our order taken, we also had to wave down a waiter to ask. I was going to give 4 stars because the food was good, but the table next to us got and finished their food before our food came out. This isn't my first Sweet Maple rodeo. I've been to the SF location before (which was a fantastic experience), and this was actually my third time coming to the Cupertino spot. Safe to say, I know my way around a Sweet Maple brunch. This time, I rolled in on a Sunday with four friends. Thanks to the magic of the waitlist, I was able to secure our spot early. By the time my friends arrived, the table was ready and waiting -- love when things just work out. Shoutout to the host for being so understanding when I let them know my friends were still parking. They even put me on to a hidden gem -- there's an additional parking lot right across the street, which I had no idea about. Clutch info for next time. Once seated, the waitress wasted no time getting us menus, which was a blessing because I was starving. The ambiance here is also worth noting -- the whole space is brightly lit and full of that fresh "brunch energy." It's the kind of spot where you just know you're about to eat well. Warm sunlight, lively buzz, and the smell of brunch classics in the air -- it all sets the tone perfectly. We ordered a nice little variety of dishes: - Chicken Croffle (my pick, and spoiler: it did NOT disappoint) - Tornado Galbi Omurice - Pimped Up Ramyun - Big Hip I went with the Chicken Croffle, and wow. I am never ever disappointed, the food is always delicious and portions are large and filling. I love all the traditional menu but LOVE the clay pot dish! I get it the most! Today it was Mothers Day and we went a lil more trad and it was so delicious! Millionare Bacon Scramble for me was bright and delicious, filled with fresh veggies and that lovely bacon yum! The hubby, sis, & I, decided to pop by and was hoping this location would (1) mean less ppl but (2) still had same tasty food quality. And our conclusion was...(1) def NOT less ppl...actually seemed like more than other locations, prob due to the limited brunch scene via southbay - we waited about an hr for a table for 3 ppl around 11am. BUT (2) thankfully, food quality and taste remain the same and was tasty overall. The location is interesting since it's only the restaurant within the area surrounded by some companies/homes...also their parking lot is small, but some street parking is available. A few blocks down, there is an Asian market/plaza, which we ended up walking to in efforts of killing time. Restaurant is fair sized with indoor and outdoor seating, indoor is def more loud and crowded. The Vibe is more contempo/modern esp. with the velvet fabric chairs/table/decor. Honestly, the aesthetics at the other locations are much better...they had light wood chair/tables which had a more minimalist/light/airy feeling and vibe.. Service here was very quick and efficient - once seated, our order was taken fast and our food also came out fast which was nice. The Menu remains the same with Asian fusion brunch dishes, so we opted for a few of our faves. Food talk: (1) Hemmingway Benedict - sauce was tasty and unique and there was a generous amount of crab meat. Potato medley was also crispy and flavorful. (2) Chicken and Croffle - this was good overall, the only thing was that it came out a little a bit lukewarm so not sure if it was sitting out for a bit. Still tasty but def better when it's hot. (3) Green papaya Salad with shrimp & crispy tofu - this was still soo goood! The salad was refreshing with the right amount of tartness from the dressing. Shrimp was juicy and flavorful, while the crispy tofu added great texture. (4) Galbi sizzling stone pot - also soooo good and still one of our faves! The sizzling pot came out super hot and was able to crisp up our rice enough, while the meat was tender/flavorful. Also like that we can add sauce per our own taste and mix on our own as well. (5) Side of bacon - this was meh and def a mistake...obvi meant to order the millionaires bacon (lol). The regular bacon was standard in taste, but just a bit overcooked/dry. We could not find a waitstaff to fill our coffee cups every time we needed our cups filled (and I needed mine filled 3 times) When I told the waitstaff about my meal he looked at me and asked if I would like it cooked again (mind you I was through with the meal and he was removing our plates ). We arrived at 11am on a Saturday, there was a wait but what I like is they don't seat you unless your whole party has arrived. So when the first member of our party checked in, we were quickly seated once everyone arrived. Really my biggest regret was not ordering more food to try more variety across their menu! Their ube latte was sooo tasty, reminiscent of cereal milk with a good kick. Their ube moffle has an amazing texture with the mochi addition, and the blueberry lava glaze was sweet and decadent. However, if you come at a busier time you might have to park across the street since there is very little parking. The wait was super fast for us and we were seated within 5 minutes. I live in the area, and so am constantly seeing this place when driving on Stevens Creek. I finally looked it up on Yelp + Google Maps and for Veteran's Day, my husband and I decided to have brunch here. Firstly, it was raining the day we went, but fortunately, because of their outdoor seating area that is also heated, we had a covered and warm place to wait. We got there at about 11:00 am and waited for about half an hour. I wish they had the option to add one's party on the Yelp app but they do not. We thought a half an hour wait for brunch on a holiday was not that bad, though. Plus, although the parking lot is quite full, we managed to snag a spot for the car quickly. I wish they would have called our name when we reached the front of the waitlist, as I only got a text and I don't have text notifications on. Nevertheless, I was able to see the text in time and the friendly, smiley hostess brought us to our table. The table hard a cool marble-looking top plus nice fall decorations. The chairs were fabric, but not clean, so I had to tear off a part of my napkin to brush off the crumbs. I server came within 2-3 minutes to ask if we wanted any drinks, and I was really wanting to try their dirty Ube Latte. It tasted good, but I unfortunately did not taste much ube. For the food, I ordered their Gardena Souffleg as I order vegetarian when eating out, and my husband got their pancakes plus eggs + regular bacon on the side. It was all very filling ! Plus the souffleg stayed hot for a very long time. While I was waiting for the souffleg to cool down, I ate the yummy, roasted potatoes and the delicious bread ! The bread was small, but also was a thick nice with a crunchy outside and a soft inside. I only ate half the souffleg, so I took the rest to go. I also appreciated how the servers and waiters did their jobs well, and did not constantly ask how we were doing. Inside the restaurant, it is very bright with nice decorations. The bathroom was not as clean as I was expecting a place like Sweet Maple to be. So because of some lack of cleanliness, I give this place a 4 star. Food wise, I ordered the chicken and crofle (croissant waffle) and it was good. REALLY good. Especially the Crofle. It was perfectly done and the "spicy" syrup was pretty tasty as well. We were excited to try this restaurant after reading so many 5 star reviews. We were all three happy with our experience. The menu is called American but I did not know some of the items listed. For example I had never heard of moche waffles. I had a small portion and found them too heavy and chewy (but that may be how they are supposed to be!) Their fruit compote dressing is delicious but not quite adequate to cover the waffle. This waffle really needs the fruit. The spinach scramble with a side of perfectly roasted potatoes and vegetables is certainly a delight to the palate , satisfying and ample. The coffee drinks are outstanding. The waiter will refill your cup so none of the froth is wasted. The restaurant is tastefully decorated but sadly, attention was not given to sound abatement. The noise level detracts from the experience. We will be sure to eat outdoors next time. Call and check that they are serving outside. We arrived at 10:25 so we were able to park in the small lot and we were seated immediately. The third member of our party arrived 15 minutes later and had to park quite a distance down the street. I noticed that there were many people and it felt warm even though the AC seemed to be on. Came here for Mother's Day brunch and it was definitely busy! The wait for our group of 9 was over an hour, but thankfully my sister in law got there earlier to put our names down on the list! The parking lot isn't huge so we ended up parking in the residential area. The food was yummy & "Instagram worthy!" The portions are on the bigger side, which is a plus! I had the chicken croffle and the flavor was perfect, even without adding the syrup that comes with it. My husband had the loco moco and although it was on the spicier side for me, he liked it! Customer service there is top notch! Our water cups were always refilled in a timely manner and our waitress (forgot to get her name) went above and beyond for our second born son who has tons of allergies & wanted a bowl of strawberries. Okay, this rating should have been a full six stars - lot's to rave about, such as their Thai Tea Toast, the fluffy pancakes - each very delicious and yummy to eat. But there was one item that was a noticeable exception. . . I must rave about the Thai Tea Toast. Similar to a Tonga Toast I had at Disneyland, this was as delicious to eat as it was to view. The outside was crunchy, while the inside fluffy and moist. The thing I marveled at was that it was not sickeningly sweet as I expected, and really went well with coffee. The side of a pancake actually was fluffy and not heavy at all. My wife ordered a BLT and avocado sandwich with roasted potatoes. Though the sandwich was tasty, the attention to detail in their roasted potatoes was surprising! - delicately crunchy on the outside, but very creamy on the inside. Wonderful! And now for the not so good part of this review. Disappointing to state that I was not even impressed with their Loco Moco, a Hawaiian specialty with a fried burger patty with a fried egg on top, all on a bed of rice, smothered in gravy. Though it looked like a Loco Moco, the similarity ends there. The breaded hamburger patty, which should have allowed a crispy outside and a juicy burger on the inside, was completely well-done crispy. I mean that even the patty was crispy - and very dry, and without flavor. Needless to state that after one bite, I was done. Never have I been as disappointed with a dish as I experienced here today. I can never turn down a good brunch! I've been to their Palo Alto location but it was my first time at this one. Parking here can be sparse the busier it gets. Luckily we came on a weekday and were able to find parking and get seated quickly. Parking was filled when we were leaving though. Lots of good options from savory to sweet. The waffles are always delicious. Tried the loco moco and the portions were generous. I think the quality holds up between both locations. And I had to order the bacon flight since it was most of my groups first time. It is on the pricier side but it really hits the brunch itch! read more

Cute brunch spot with a very aesthetic interior! Make sure to come early because it gets very busy especially on the weekends, so plan accordingly. Parking is also VERY limited. They have a small parking lot that can fill up quick. Either arrive early to get a spot, or prepare to walk a block or two after finding street parking. Service was fast and our server was so sweet! It did take a bit to get their attention for a box + the check once we were finished with our meal, but as mentioned it was very busy so we didn't mind all too much. The service made up for it! Brunch drinks are very strong! Yum! Wasn't the biggest fan of their michelada, so I'll make sure to skip that next time. Portion sizes are huge! Ordered their Sizzling Stonepot for MYSELF just to soon find out it's big enough to feed an entire party of 4 LOL. No complaints though, just took the leftovers to go and called it a day! Not pictured, but my party and I also tried their famous millionaire's bacon and you may think "it's just bacon!".. well yes, it is.. but it's really damn good bacon. Super tender and flavorful! I definitely recommend trying it at least once! Finally, we also shared their limited time Thai Tea Toast and that was really yummy (and a huge portion) as well. Okay wow, just wow. This was one of the better meals I have had in a while, in that every single thing we got was fantastic. We got the butter fried corn, bacon sampler, blueberry mochi waffles, and the Hemingway (smoked salmon) eggs Benedict. First of all, the Brussels potato medley is probably the best breakfast potatoes ive ever had, they're crisp on the outside and like mashed potatoes on the inside. The corn had so much deep rich toasted flavor, we absolutely loved it. Every flavor of the bacon sampler had us wanting more, the bacon was thickly cut and perfectly cooked and seasoned. The mochi waffle was also incredible, I was a bit apprehensive about it being blueberry flavored which tends to overpower but the blueberries here were not that sickly sweet compote as normal, just kind of blistered in a lightly sweet sauce that tasted like real blueberries. And the mochi flavor still was able to come through in the waffle, which is a flavor I really like, not to mention the texture of the waffle was crisp, chewy, and a little doughy just how I would want a mochi waffle to be. The Hemingway Benedict was delicious, with the cucumber and wasabi hollandaise it almost reminded us of sushi. Overall this is probably the best breakfast place I have been to, and I cannot wait to try more. read more

The interior blends beautifully with the natural surroundings, which makes the whole experience feel calm and refreshing. I usually go for the croffle or avocado toast, and both are always satisfying. The omurice, though, wasn't really my favorite. read more

I came with some friends and thoroughly enjoyed our brunch here, We arrived a little before noon on Sunday and got seated immediately. We opted for an outdoor table as the weather was too gorgeous to pass up outdoor seating. While pricing is a bit higher than a normal brunch, I feel like the food they served was a bit more unique with attention to quality. Also, the portions felt reasonable in size unlike many of the places I've been to recently. * Chicken Croffle: This was delicious as advertised, two good sized waffles, and two very tender pieces of chicken * Millionaires Bacon: This was good - it's thick and chewy, not the crunchy type of breakfast bacon. If you've had sweet Asian style jerky, this is what it's like * Pimped up Ramyun: This was a delicious take on Shin ramen, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The different vegetables and mixtures in there were great, and the sunny side up egg on top was a beautiful extra touch The service was great, but not overbearing. Our water and coffee cups were kept full, but yet we were also able to enjoy our meals. They were also very nice about giving us extra plates for sharing. The tables were also spaced nicely apart, so there was a good sense of some privacy. Also, in spite of the busy streets, the noise was not noticeable. Parking is tough, so beware!
