Attended the Hansen Dam World Cup fan zone this weekend, and that entire event as a VIP ticket holder was a bust. Spent too much money for basically nothing. One of the very few good things that did come out was this vendor. With this horrible heat during the Mexico game and basically no shade at all for the VIP section, we were left thirsty and craving something delicious to hit the spot. Swirlies came in clutch during these times of need. Had to order 6 vanilla-flavored ice creams, some with some chocolate drizzle, and when I tell you, they hit the spot! Wow! The ice cream was so good, and the service was good and quick, and the cashier was sweet, answering all my questions about their ice cream since I had never tried it before and had questions regarding size and options for kids. All was answered kindly and timely; we were charged and had all 6 ice creams within 5 minutes of paying despite the long lines and despite them selling out all weekend. Swirlies is an ice cream truck you don't want to skip; if it's located at any event you are at, you must try it out. You will not regret it. I ended up eating my own and my kids', who could not finish it because the portion was top-notch. 10/10 ice cream; highly recommend. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]They brought their new trailer (super clean setup) and somehow made it fit in our tight courtyard with no issues. looked great and ran smooth the whole time despite the long line.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything was made fresh with real fruit and they even offer OAT MILK VEGAN BASE for any of their "Drill Your Own Swrl (DYOS)" mixes. For all the vegan lovers...I stuck with their dairy base. Wife got the La Tóxica (tart froyo, strawberry, pineapple, extra chamoy) and it was sweet, tangy, a little spicy. I got the Horchaty and that one was creamy, sweet, with a nice crunch from the cinnamon toast crunch and their horchata frozen cubes they mix into it with caramel as a topping, just refreshing in every way! My review is based off 2 events I've had the pleasure having Swrlies. Event #1: 2 years ago, I was working a wedding with an event planner and tried them for the first time and was hooked. The froyo was amazing and working with them was great. I waited to see if I would have a big event to book them for myself. Well I don't have big events like a wedding but I stayed craving their froyo. Event #2: Last month, I was having a small summer birthday party for my daughter and thought froyo would be perfect but I was not sure if I should call. I was thinking the party is too small and they do big events and it would be too pricey. A week and half before my daughter's party I said I'm calling! I reached to them to inquire, AND I AM SO HAPPY I DID. Yardley was amazing just like he was 2 years ago from the wedding event I had met him. He was quick to get a respond to me, the party size didn't matter. The price was good. I booked them a week before my event (even though I don't recommend waiting) but I was so happy they were available. They truly provide a great service big or small. The froyo was a hit! He was a good worker I would say. He didn't speak the greatest english but darn did he know how to work that auger! They showed up early and set up at the event and the people were more excited for the Swrlies than they were the party. There was not one person was disappointed in their product. Not only was their product clean, they were very efficient and their products came out with the best quality. Their fruit were fresh and they even went out their way to get hard to find dragon fruit. Overall, I would highly recommend Swrlies not only for their amazing product, but for the fact that they are great people and know how to cater an event with product that is surely the talk of the town. You hear of such amazing people doing amazing things but it's even more remarkable to see it become so much more than what it has become. Swrlies has become everything amazing.
