Went on a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of parking. Also there was plenty of seating as well! Service was great, right when we walked in we were instantly greeted and seated. Everything went smoothly and got our food quickly. The workers are so nice and sweet and fun to talk to. The vibe is awesome in there, and good spot to grab and bite and have a nice cold drink surrounded with good food. Great lighting and the temperature was comfortable. The food was amazing! We got the Ayce raw crab deal which was a great deal. The crab is so good! My favorite is the Soy marinated crab. We also got a Crab soup which is extremely flavorful. The Bonchon spread was something I've never seen before because there was so many options on a huge tray! Wow 5/5

Parking 5/5 -Plaza has a lot of parking spots available, but be cautious of the way you enter. If you accidentally enter opposite direction into where the parking lot exits, the spikes on the ground will puncture your tires. Service 5/5 -Friendly and attentive staff, food came out quick on both initial order and replenishing all you can eat items. Food 5/5 -We did their all you can eat deal that include raw soy marinaded crab, raw spicy marinaded crab and raw soy marinaded shrimp. The deal comes with one bowl of rice per person, one bowl of soup with fish cake per person, and a huge platter of banchans/side dishes. The raw seafood was fresh and not fishy at all, the marinades were delicious and overall all three are rice thief material. I wouldn't be intimidated by the spicy marinaded crab, it didn't burn my tongue or throat at all, very enjoyable. The banchans were all crowd pleasers, refreshing and offers a full range of different flavors. If you have never tried raw marinaded seafood before, this is a great place to be your first experience. -Spicy seafood soup, comes boiling hot and full of goodies like crab, shrimp, etc. The soup was hearty and absorbed the sweetness from the seafood, great portion size for sharing. Ambiance 5/5 -Spacious dining area with rooms that offered more privacy that are perfect for celebration or if you just want your group to be away from the main dining area. Bathroom was clean and well kept, overall a standout restaurant I would come back with friends and family.

Recently someone told me that they added new menu since it was close to our new development, we came for lunch and was surprised with sushi roll actually was scared with the pricing since it was too low and it couldve affected the quality but, boy was I wrong.. ngl it going to be my favorite roll joint in ktown.

The chicken teriyaki bowl was amazing. The chicken was lean and the sauce was light and not super sweet. The rolls taste good. I just hope it was crispier and there was more shrimp.

Ugh my all time favorite place to come to!! I used to come here once every two weeks but moved. Finally got to come back and it's still as good as I remembered it. Staff is very attentive and great! 1000/10

This place is my favourite, always with good service with quality food. Will definitely come back again.

The soy marinated crab is so juicy! They currently have a AYCE spicy raw marinated crab, raw soy shrimp & raw soy marinated certain for $44.99. Service is friendly. Portion is good to share. Comes with banchan too.

Came here for a birthday dinner and I'll have to say I was super excited to try this place out after hearing about the quality of the fish. We got the set course with Sashimi, soup, banchan, and other steamed seafood dishes along with that. I really liked the quality and I'll have to say it definitely lives up to the hype. Everything was super fresh and I can tell they care about the quality as well. The only thing about this place was that they raised up the price of the set meals by a good amount. Albeit, they definitely give you a TON of food with that. We had to take a lot of leftovers home and I definitely felt so full and satisfied beyond. Overall, I would come back here again.

Great flavors and marinades for the raw crabs and shrimps. Definitely missed the memo on the rice being a one time order and an additional cost for each refill! Service was lovely and for one gal handling 6-8 tables, she fid phenomenal. Would love to come back again but make sure we drink enough water first! Those dishes can get salty! Parking lot is rough, but the attending security guard was a lifesaver in preventing parking lot fights!! Felt like an authentic korean spot for sure. Lots of kpop music videos playing on loop.

came here for a birthday dinner with my family after years of not being here. i'll say the quality of the food is still decent, but the service and hype are no longer there. we made a reservation for a saturday night and were surprised to see the entire place basically empty we ordered combo 2, which comes with various steamed stackers and assorted sashimi. the sashimi portions were quite small but fresh and tasty. the steamed items were fine overall but nothing really stood out besides the presentation. it was nice to see a large stack of food, but some items were disappointing, like the dumplings which tasted frozen and the beef which was very chewy. we also added a plate of raw marinated crab, which was good one thing i really didn't like was how the servers stayed in the kitchen and only came out once to take our order. the rest of the service was handled by a helper who served and bussed our table overall, for the price, there are plenty of other places that offer better service and better quality food. this place has definitely gone downhill since the last time i visited, and it shows. i might come back for their all-you-can-eat raw crab, but wouldn't return for anything else

Soy and spicy marinated crab, soy marinated shrimp, various banchan

Love this all you can eat Korean raw marinated crab and shrimp spot! It's well worth the price. The spread of banchan also is great and changes every so often. It also comes with a side of fish cake skewers in soup. The raw crab and shrimp are fresh and not fishy at all. The seasoning is perfectly salty enough to go with some rice but not too salty to eat on its own with the sides. I love the soy raw crab and shrimp, but spicy lovers would enjoy the spicy one! So affordable compared to other raw marinated crab spots in LA. Highly recommend.

My friend and I had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was pretty empty, maybe two or three other parties eating, so we were seated right away. They have pretty huge tables and I liked that there are buttons on the side that alert the servers on whether you need something. We were here for the all you can eat raw marinated crab and shrimp. There are two types of crab: soy sauce and spicy. My friend liked the soy sauce and I liked the spicy so we each stuck to those through the meal. We both loved the shrimp so we split that. It also comes with a lot of banchan, but they weren't something that I kept going back to. The price point is pretty reasonable for all you can eat and the serving size they give each round is about 3 crabs. What I didn't like was the parking situation. It's in a plaza with other restaurants and retail spaces but not enough parking to support that. It's also kind of an older looking building from the outside. It's a bit better inside.

On our latest visit we took the Metro, exited at Wilshire/Normandie Station, and walked 8 minutes over. The restaurant seems to have updated their décor to a more modern and new look since my last visit. Also they have introduced a lot of new menu items, so it felt like an appropriate time to update my review and renew my support for the business. On prior visits I have tried both the Clam Kalguksu ($22.99) and the Chicken Kalguksu ($22.99). Both are delicious depending on what protein you are craving. The broth is incredible soothing and great for a cold day or just anytime you need comfort food. The noodles are chewy and pillowy soft, it just melts in your mouth. When we arrived on our latest visit it was as busy and popular as I remembered. We were lucky that they were able to seat us right away. This latest visit my boyfriend and I tried new items from their menu. My boyfriend had the Tokmanuguk ($20.99) which has rice cakes, dumplings, beef, egg, and carrot in their anchovy broth. I had the Chicken Jook ($23.99) which is the Korean version of a chicken porridge that comes with half a small chicken, green onions, garlic, toasted sesame seeds, squash, onions and topped off with a smidge of sesame oil. Our meals came with a little palette cleansing introduction of barley rice. Just a few bites, but it sets up your tastebuds for the meal. They also had some side dishes for the table. The food took a while to come out, but understandable for how busy they are. This food is made with love and your patience will be rewarded. When it came, it was SO DELICIOUS! I tried a bit of my boyfriend's food and it was so comforting. Perfect for those who like the chewiness of the Korean rice cakes or dumplings. I just love my chicken porridge a little more cause I'm obsessed with porridge whenever I can get it. I love how much vegetables Koreans are able to hide in their porridge while making the veggies so tiny, you won't even notice it. So healthy, delicious, and soothing. It was like a hug for my soul. Also, the portion was huge and both my boyfriend and I had a portion togo that was the size of another meal. You can't go wrong with their food here. I definitely want to make an effort to come back more often. Until next time!

Me and friend started with drinks at the bar - I got the hwachae milk punch, a pretty pink sip! My friend got the espresso martini, their take made with cold brew soju, Korean coffee mix, and makgeolli. Both were fun, well-balanced ways to kick off the night. Their honey butter chips were pretty delectable - fresh-cut potato, fried until crunchy and airy, then drizzled with a honey butter glaze that channels those nostalgic honey butter chip snacks. The sauce was good but can definitely be a sweetness overload, so if you don't have a sweet tooth, I would avoid ordering. Got the pine nut cold noodles, which was refreshing on a summer day - white noodles in a chilled soy milk broth with pine nut. The pine flavor was pretty subtle, so if you're into that, definitely get this, but for me it was just okay. The pork jowl was delicious though - comes with chili crisp and garlic rice, and we ended up taking some home because we couldn't finish it all! Service was great - we sat at the bar and got to watch the bartender work and chat. Parking can be hit or miss; you can either park in the several garage structures around ktown or the small paid lot in the Danbi plaza, but we came on a Thursday night and it was still pretty busy. Overall, a 9/10 meal with good vibes, cute drinks, and delicious food. Already dreaming about trying the galbi next time I'm here!

We all were questioning what the point of a reservation was if the table wasn't ready when we got there. By the time we were seated it was 10 minutes to last call for the kitchen and cocktail bar, so that was disappointing. Better coordination is needed. Although I understand they were busy, I was not happy. Food came out all at once instead of as listed in the set course on the menu which was super overwhelming. The staff was nice enough to throw in complimentary extras (house made chicken nuggets) due to running out of corn cheese rolls (we had a party of 8, and they had 7 rolls) so very nice of the establishment; and subbed the dessert due to running out of what was listed on the Dine LA menu. I was looking forward to the parfait but that's ok. Drinks were a bit light but still enjoyable. Vibes wise, the place was nicely decorated, we all loved the movie clips on the wall, very intimate vibes. Would I come again? If you're searching for some of the city's best pork, then those in the know will bring up Ham Ji Park. For 2 decades, generous platters of pork ribs and pork neck stew decked every table. Now, our Korean friends lament the loss of their favorite pork joint in the city. The Koreatown proper location is located in the Royal Plaza mini-mall, just a few blocks off bustling Wilshire. Discounted parking is available in a lot across the street from the Chevron gas station. From the street, the entrance is flanked by potted plants and an enclosed street-ery. Inside, stainless steel chairs are pressed up against wooden tables, each outfitted with a metal grill. Oppressive fluorescent lighting shines down on the stone grey walls, which are left undecorated apart from a few flatscreens. Multi-lingual chatter blends with the sizzle of platters. I visited with some friends for a weeknight dinner, and about half of the tables were occupied. We shared a spread of grilled platters and sizzling soups. The meal began with a carafe of barley tea and a mostly standard spread of banchan. Across our food, the best dish was the signature Charbroiled Pork Spare Rib. The ribs were flavorful without feeling gamey, and the meat was complemented by sweet caramelized onions. The pork ribs handily outdid the good-not-great Charbroiled Beef Short Rib. Lastly, the Milt and Cod Rose with Vegetables stew was fishy and briny, appropriately flavored for the Korean palate. The service was appropriately attentive, although I would've appreciated more intentional refills of our banchan ramikens. The rib plates cost upward of $35 each, while the soup was just under $30. The portions were hearty; a single entree platter could reasonably feed 2 moderately hungry bellies. It's a shame to hear that Ham Ji Park has closed; I'm kicking myself for not trying their pork neck stew earlier.

This used to be my #1 spot for cold noodles but our other fav place was closed today so we decided to come here. As you can see, the size of the cold noodles became smaller. Everything was packed in this small bowl which made it harder to eat. I think they changed the noodles they use because it wasn't doing anything texture wise. It used to be chewy and had a good buckwheat flavor. The broth tasted.. like water with a splash of bone broth. The quality of galbi was also a disappointing as I feel like it's became less and the meat was burnt with more fat/chewy bits. The leek pancake was ok but again, comparing it to my picture from January, it was bigger in size and more dough-y. Service was decent previously but it felt a bit cold today. Again, super bummed because we still love this place but I probably won't be ordering their combo again. You can see in my pictures how often we used to order the cold noodles from here and you can compare the quality.
